12 24 25, 2015 : 😇 Having not spent Christmas together with family for how many years now, we were very fortunate to find a place as hospitable as Daj Suite Boutique Hotel. We had a hassle-free experience in locating the suite as well as lucky to have been served by accommodating and approachable staff from front desk people to kitchen personnel. We enjoyed the sumptuous buffet breakfast and the unlimited brewed coffee. The kids had fun in the pool even if it was freezing cold ❄️☃ The cost of stay was INDEED in a reasonable price that is why we will surely be back to create more happy memories😇 See you soonest Daj Suite Boutique Hotel!!! THANKYOUSOMUCH! 🤗

This is the Perfect Place to stay to if you're going to Tagaytay. Great Hotel for families or couples. Rooms are spacious and clean! Service was great!!! And the Food... Heavenly! We've been traveling to Tagaytay every summer, and Daj is the only hotel that gave us the Real Value for Money, we stayed at their Family room (Php3,500.00) (5 adults and 4 kids) , we even requested for an Early Check-in by 8am. Their staff contacted us at around 6am to Guide us on our Way to Daj. Upon arrival, staff offered us refreshments (Blended Iced Tea and Coffee for me and my wife). I got up at 3am (because i have to warmup the car to pickup my mom from the airport), and they have a 24hrs Food service at the Hotel. thou its 3am in the morning, i only waited for not more than 10mins for may grilled Pork with a "heavenly Sauce" to be served. I would definitely RECOMMEND DAJ SUITES to all of my Friends! Thanks Daj.

We're a group of 6 looking for a place to stay at Tagaytay, we asked the tricycle drivers on a good place to stay and they told us about Daj Suites Tagaytay. The Suites' located just along the main road of Tagaytay, right after the welcome to tagaytay signage. It's a 2 Storey Building with deck, and it's simply amazing! The suite got it ALL, from 42inch LED TVs, to Hot&Cold BathTubs in every room! Even got an Indoor Swimming Pool!!! It's a 5 Star Accommodation at an economy price. Definitely recommend it to all my colleagues. 2 thumbs up Daj!!!

Due to change in management, this hotel has lost its old glory days and charm. Booked several rooms, here are my comments:
1) Owners strutting around, accosting guests like a prison warden dealing with inmates. Will order their crew to call over certain guests as if you're going to the principal's office, look up the guests up and down and rant about how they are actually not earning from your bookings, and that they're just going through the motions bec they have a place to run. Err... their management problems are not our problems. We do not even personally know each other, for them to rant about how they're actually doing us a favor by accommodating us. How inappropriate.
2) Rooms are so dated, grimy, dirty. Shower heater not working, forced to bathe in the freezing cold water.
3) Swimming pool was disgusting, dirty, slimy, and obviously not been cleaned for months or years
4) No toiletries provided, towels were the cheapest quality. When we asked for floor mats for the toilet floor area, they gave us old, ratty bath robes!

The only saving grace is the positive attitude of their front desk and hotel staff.

However due to the utter unprofessionalism of the owners and dreary accommodations, and the hotel falling apart, definitely not coming back.

I went to tagaytay for some "me time" and I booked here, all rooms were taken except for the family room, so I took it, the price is 3,000 for 1 night, which is relatively cheap compared to other hotels.

The room is indeed for a family, very spacious, with 1 queen sized bed and 2 solo. It has a bathroom with hot and cold shower (this one is a little small, shower and the toilet, but it's clean), it also has a tub! Separate area, very clean.

TV works, cable included, AC works fine. Just wish there were more bed linens :)

Missed the entrance when I got off the bus, partially my fault cause I was not looking.

The crew is nice, kate (front desk lady) even reminded me of my booking and how to get there.

All in all, I won't be ashamed to recommend this place, if you have a car, good, if not, still ok, you won't have a hard time looking for a ride.

Til next time daj! :)

Me and my colleagues was stuck in an unimaginable traffic at Tagaytay City last January 27th 2015, we came from a 3 days Seminar at Canyon Cove Nasugbu Batangas. It was a 6hrs traffic (from batangas to tagaytay) leaving us all exhausted and hungry when we reached Tagaytay Proper. My team decided to call it a day and look for a budget friendly hotel in the city. We came across
a blog that lead us to Daj Suites Boutique Hotel. The place is very accessible, its along the main highway before Tagaytay Rotonda (from manila). We contact the hotel and they offered to guide us to the suite. its a 2 floors building not more than 1500sqm floor area but it has a roofdeck and an indoor swimming pool. it's a safe and quiet place located inside a secured compound. we immediately ordered dinner (Php120 to Php150 - serving was plentiful). We were amazed by the room setup, we got 3 rooms 2 Deluxe rooms and 1 Family room on the 2nd floor. Rooms are spacious and clean. Every room has a bathtub (very relaxing). I would definitely come back here with my family. Recommending this hotel to couples, solo travellers and families.

We came all the way from the airport last February 1, 2015, got their hotel taxi service, straight to this hotel. Me and my Hubby stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. It's a 2 Storey Boutique Hotel Suite with deck ( like small hotels in Europe), and we were very impressed by the room amenities this hotel has to offer. Each room has a California King Bed (Spring, not foam), 42inch Samsung LED TV with cable channels, Cabinets, Toilet Supplies etc. Bathroom is very clean, and they have a BATHTUB!!! :) Definitely one of the nicest and budget friendly hotel we have ever tried.

I was searching around the net for a place to stay (we already tried Keni Po) and just happened to stumble on this places's blog. The spacious room and adjoining bath, and the presence of the tub were the selling point for me. Add the free breakfast, and I was instantly sold. We were served welcome drinks upon arrival, and we just stayed inside to relax for the rest of the day. The food we ordered for dinner tasted old (or at least the meat used), but the breakfast was nice. We will consider staying here again.

We found this hotel on ayosdito.com by accident and booked based on the pictures they posted of the place. We have stayed in Tagaytay before and have not been impressed by accommodation's in this price range. Daj was wonderful to stay at and the people are quite nice. It seems to be run by a bunch of 20 something people but it was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was quite plentiful. There isn't really a breakfast "choice" as it's what they will serve that morning but regardless, it's yummy. We came across a renegade cockroach in the bathroom but that was all and nothing to not expect from a stay in the Philippines. The place was close to the main highway so we could take a jeepney right into Tagaytay square in 10 minutes for only 8 pesos each.

The downfall here is that although there is internet access, it is really slow and unpredictable at times. I clocked only 3 Mbps at it's best. For the price you really can't beat the amenities.

My husband booked an overnight stay at Daj Suites with high expectations due to great Tripadvisor reviews. We were very disappointed with:

1) Very poor customer service

Our toilet flush was not working. Receptionist responded with "our manager is not here", "our maintenance already left", "Ï cannot contact assistant manager". Best their housekeeping can do was put a drum and small pail for flushing in the shower room. But that meant we cannot even take a decent shower.

Our aircon remote was also not working. Receptionist looked at the remote battery and just said "someone must have placed a different battery". No further action taken. Issue not resolved.

We raised this concerns via e-mail to Daj Suites management last Sunday (July 31). No reply up to now. :-(

2) Room without a view - We booked the family room hoping for some kind of Tagaytay view. While the room was indeed spacey, we unfortunately had no view at all. Windows had to be kept closed. It was also near the kitchen so we can smell food being cooked when entering / leaving the room.

We were very disappointed. Our wonderful Tagaytay celebration was marred by this poor hotel experience.
