Due to change in management, this hotel has lost its old glory days and charm. Booked several rooms, here are my comments: 1) Owners strutting around, accosting guests like a prison warden dealing with inmates. Will order their crew to call over certain guests as if you're going to the principal's office, look up the guests up and down and rant about how they are actually not earning from your bookings, and that they're just going through the motions bec they have a place to run. Err... their management problems are not our problems. We do not even personally know each other, for them to rant about how they're actually doing us a favor by accommodating us. How inappropriate. 2) Rooms are so dated, grimy, dirty. Shower heater not working, forced to bathe in the freezing cold water. 3) Swimming pool was disgusting, dirty, slimy, and obviously not been cleaned for months or years 4) No toiletries provided, towels were the cheapest quality. When we asked for floor mats for the toilet floor area, they gave us old, ratty bath robes! The only saving grace is the positive attitude of their front desk and hotel staff. However due to the utter unprofessionalism of the owners and dreary accommodations, and the hotel falling apart, definitely not coming back.…

We had fun and enjoyed our overnight stay. The place was IG worthy and had a lot of pics to post on my soc med because the place was beautiful and comfy. We will love to comeback soon, I missed the coffee.

I just want to share our nice experience with DAJ Suites. The location is really relaxing even without a view of the Taal Lake, as what most travelers are expecting upon checking-in to Tagaytay's Inns and Hotels. Perfect for those people who's into staycations. The staffs of the the boutique hotel is really kind and generous. Whenever we need something (in our case, bottle cap opener, plastic bags and extra plates), they don't hesitate to provide it. For me, this is an amazing thing due to most of the hotels and resorts charges the guest if they need to borrow something. The room itself is huge and cozy. They have mini-refrigerator and television. Toiletries are complete. The thermostat of the the showers and faucet is properly working. The bath tub is the highlight of the comfort room as it provides a relaxing vibe MOST ESPECIALLY for couples <3 The indoor pool is clean. You will not smell any scent of chlorine upon using it. For me, the highlight of our stay is the breakfast. They really provide a free breakfast with a fair serving and unlimited brewed coffee. However, they also need to improve something: 1. The signal of the cable. On our whole 22 hours of stay, we experienced cable signal problem of about 4-5 times. 2. The water flow is quite weak on the last 2 hours of our stay. Maybe because most guests are using the comfort room before leaving so it's really understandable, but really appreciated if they can improve it. If I will have a chance (and budget also HAHA) to go back in tagaytay, I will definitely stay at Daj Suites, again and again. It was okay. they have a small indoor pool. The room has a king size bed! Downside was the washroom, there is a leak in the sink. Wifi is accessible only at the lobby. What I really love about Daj is their service of unlimited amadeo barako coffee! Staff are friendly most especially Kevin. :-)

Its been a while since I done a review. But I would like to warn those who are planning to stay in Tagaytay . DON't EvEr Book in this hotel if you want to have a good sleep. THEY ALLOWED OTHER GUESTS TO MAKE LOUD NOISES (DRINKING SPREE AND SWIMMING) in wee hours at night between 12am to 5am. AND TAKE NOTE We are on the second floor of their building. BUT YOU CAN HEAR the NOISES just as loud as you are staying beside the pool like you are very near the pool area. And All they can do was to scold the guests. They even told the owner about it and all the reception can say is the owner is out of town. Presently we are staying in this hotel because we already paid. We CAN'T REFUND. THEY DId NOT compensate for the SLEEP that we lost. Horrible Boutique Hotel!

Daj is perfectly located to access by either private or public transportation. Extremely friendly , and courteous staff especially “Marge” & “Karen”. We had a unique hospitality service- staff was super nice and accomodating ..... they loved our children too ! Rooms are clean,spacious and comfortable..... We always look forward to their flavorful breakfast! We would definitely stay here again.... By the stay our 2 weeks stay was the BEST EVER !

First off, hotel isnt visible from the hiway, you'll have to take a close watch so you dont miss it. Second, front desk ladies are not as nice as we expect. They had us print the booking voucher which was so much hassle because where the hell are we going to have it printed? And it was midday, we dont have our own car. They almost never let us in without it but then they later agree but demanded we give the copy of the voucher not later than the evening. Given that we already have an email confirmation of our booking so i was thinking confidently they're just gonna ask me for the booking id but what happened was as horrible as ive never imagined. Third off, we were never guided to the pool area, we have to find it ourselves. Fourth, we were only given 3in1 coffee and not the barako coffee we long to taste, i never Bothered to ask why - i was so pissed that i lose energy to argue with them. Tv signal went off around 11pm and never came up and running until the next morning. Ugh! No telephone nor intercom available so you have to walk your way to the frontdesk each time you need something and this doesnt make the hotel stay convenient and stress-free. On a positive note, though the room isnt as spacious as what it displays on the website, it was clean. Beds and linen are lovely and neat. T&b is fine too; complete toiletries with bathrobe and slippers. Generally, i dont likely to recommend this to anyone.…

The very first day Daj Suites became operational until this very moment, we've witnessed the improvement everytime we visit the what we called "home away from home". The amenities are the only change that we've seen hence the warmth welcome, cozy ambiance, peaceful environment and trusted staffs especially "Kate" remain the same. These are the reasons why whenever we wanted to relax,be relieved from stress and celebrate special occasion, we never had our second thought because there will always be one and only accomodation in tagaytay that we would love to spend to-- Daj Suites.

We went here to celebrate my birthday. Aside from very relaxing venue this could also a nice place to study just what my sister did that time..it is because of their amazing coffee..although there's no Taal view but I will definitely go back here because Im inlove with their coffee.

An almost perfect accommodation for backpackers like us. The location is good. It's along the main road so we easily found it. They also have a parking slot, but I don't know if there is a charge for that. We arrived at around 12:30pm and we were allowed to check in na agad. Smooth check in and out process. The staff guide us on our room (101) and told us also where the pool was located. The room was good. It was quite small but it fits for 2 persons. Comfy bed, good AC and flat screen tv with cable. It has 2 chairs and small tables. It was clean and orderly. Inclusions of: Bathrobe Towels Slippers Complimentary bottled water 2 packs of coffee Toiletries such as: Tissue, soaps, shampoo and toothbrush with toothpaste. Big servings of breakfast for two I appreciate their t&b. It is consist of bathtub, shower room and toilet. What's bad was the nonstop leak and no heater sa tub. Needs an improvement for this site.
