checked in last February. wifi was non-existent. the restaurant was only for breakfast. speaking of breakfast, it was just a pair of silog's, others we're even lucky to be complaining on 3n1 coffee on their breakfast menu, we had nothing to complain about it for there wasn't any coffee at all. the shower had no heater, there wasn't even soap. the tv had lines on the screen you wouldn't even want to watch anything on it even if you're itching on G2B. there was a menu beside the phone just by the bed, only everything is unavailable. ok, the bed was nice and comfortable though.

My advice to fellow travellers to Tagaytay, keep this hotel out of your options. Location is too far from the sights, rooms are small, bathrooms are as shabby as their towels. Don't believe metro deal ads on this hotel.

heading to Tags for some R & R, we found a promo on Metrodeal for this place giving a discounted price of P1699.00 for 2. This place is found on route to scenic Tagaytay, by that I mean its on the way to the ridge where you can see Taal. This i know because we got lost looking for it as we were travelling at night. Its found after Mings Garden and Marzapan sweets, note that that there's more than 1 Marzapan sweets place on route to tags. Keep your eyes peeled, its on the right side driving to tags from the South.

The rooms were decent even pretty, clean ,queen size bed, bathroom and balcony with a view of the pineapple fields. But what wasnt so awesome is that the key hole in our room was jammed with a broken key, if not locked from the inside it cant be at all. Parking is awful, as they only have the front of the hotel as parking so expect wakeup calls if you dont leave your keys with the attendants. The promo also included a free breakfast for 2,free was all it was. A simple brekkie, tapsilog and 3-in-1 coffee. As for their free wi-fi, it was non-existent.

Service was ok, we didnt see them most of the time.

I write this as an honest to goodness review of my stay there, hopefully you get a better experience upon checking it out.:) peace

Think twice before booking this hotel. My husband and I purchased a voucher from Metrodeal last September and got their Suite Room good for 3-4 persons with free breakfast for 2100 instead of 3200. We made a reservation and was told by the receptionist that we will be charged additional 500 since the date will fall on a weekend. Since the voucher read that rates are subjected to changes during peak season and weekends, we were ready to comply, even if there was no statement on the voucher and metrodeal fine print that it would be 500 pesos. When we arrived at the hotel, my husband and I were disappointed to see a very small room (queen sized bed just good for 2 persons and a child, unless you are willing to walk around the area filled with 2 more beds on the floor). There was no bath tub and non-existent Wi-Fi. There was also no complimentary water, which by the way, when I pointed that out to the staff at the front desk when we checked out, I was told that I should have called them and asked for it (huh?). Worst of all, the sheets weren't clean. I had to pick around 5 p**** hairs till i realized that was it for me. I am not paying an additional 500 since the place could not even provide us with something as basic as a clean room. Believe me, if you care about your hard earned money, don't go to this hotel. Oh and by the way, since this hotel faces the highway, expect to wake up every few hours because of the noise. There's no view of taal as marketed by Metrodeal on their website.

We bought the voucher in Metrodeal, and we stayed for an overnight at the family room. The room itself is a bit good but the "COMFORT ROOM" is so disgusting. We also cannot sleep as we can hear the water leaked from the CR which is broken and the keep on insisting that since morning they already tried fixing it. No Wi-Fi. And together with the promo is the inclusion of breakfast, so we expected that they will serve us some rice with an egg, or somethings that is considered to be a breakfast and not just a "3 slices of bread (1 and 1/2) with butter and coffee.

I have some extra Groupon credit so I decided to get a weekend Tagaytay getaway.

Citta Vivere Suites is under new management of White Oak Hospitality. Maybe the good part this has brought to this establishment is that reservation is easy and the staffs in the hotel itself are friendly.

But that's it. The location is not really ideal. Far from the main attractions and it can get really noisy due to the traffic especially in the early morning.

We cannot describe what has happened to the door knob! The lock itself is a headache to use. The bed creaks by the tiniest movement.

The bathroom is a rundown. Missing soap holder. Lighting is very poor and the ceiling has black stains.

The free breakfast is hotdog and egg and rice and coffee. The utensils are not clean-looking.

There is a surcharge of 500 for a weekend stay. We cannot understand the purpose of this in such a hotel. I have also upgraded the room to a "suite" and people really has no idea what is the difference of that to a standard room.

In the end, do yourself a favor and never consider this place.

The hotel is such a let down it needs so much done to it to improve it.Light didn't work in the shower then the water stopped working the bed was broken the room was not clean and the staff here are no help at all.We had a power cut and they didn't have a generator..we waited for 2 hrs for the power to come back..its really a worst and terrible stay ever...And all the staff could do is hide behind a locked door so no one else could complain to them.I would stay well clear of this place because what they charge you to stay there isn't worth it..

We checked in at citta vivere suites last Nov.30-Dec.1. I got a Metrodeal voucher good for 2 worth 3,300.00 for 2,100.00(but since we checked in on weekend, we have to pay additional 500.00) for a total of 2,600.00... from what i have read with Metrodeal description of hotel, it is located near tourist spots in Tagaytay but on contrary, it is not along the main road (but the hotel is located where many cars and jeepney passes by so expect the noise eve in the middle of the night). we have to travel thru tricycle 15-20mins from hotel to people's park that cost us 100.00.... it's not practical to stay here especially if you're just commuting... even the tricycle drivers there are not that familiar with the hotel.... location is bad!
With the room and hotel, i just like the bed but of course, we availed a deluxe room so we just expected it to be like that...
The famous "veranda" in their adverstisement makes no use at all since there is no nature view when you go there (In front of hotel is an establishment) and doesn't have any chair so that you can stay longer there (maybe they didn't put any chair because it will be useless)...
the free breakfast??? Okay,... and afterwards, i look for McDonalds because my tummy felt unsatisfied...
Al in all, the discount i availed is total mess...
I have seen a lot now purchased this in metrodeal... still hoping they don't find this disappointing as we were...

The room is a bit clean only with a big spider inside, a toilet with broken flush, no towel, no tissue, fon inside the room is not working, and no staff to assist you! The free breakfast is terrible also! We ordered a room service but we waited for 2 hours only to find out our order is not available! A very terrible experience!

Me and My partner tried looking for a cheapo hotel roughly around 2k to 2500php around tagaytay vicinity. Then we saw the voucher for Citta Vivere asking for only 2,100pesos for their suite room. I managed to grab one of their vouchers, ONLY TO FIND OUT I STILL HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER 500 PESOS SINCE THE RESERVATION FELL ON A WEEKEND (SATURDAY). We were surprised that the location of the hotel was around 10-15min (tricycle) going to the rotonda area (not advisable to walk since the area was really dark by night). Anyway , when we entered the room, the comforter wasn't properly folded, it was literally thrown into the bed and you need to search the towels in the middle of its fold. Also we ended up getting only 1 pair of slippers, and not actually a pair since it was different from one another (what the hell?). Food was scarce, they don't have anything to eat past 10pm . I don't recommend this place if you really want to have that bang for the buck travel plan. Try to search for other hotels near rotonda area and you'll find them more accommodating.
