Very sad experience in this hotel, we have no choice but to stay in this stupid anf ugly hotel for another day due to strong typhoon. People, owner and operators of the hotel were all GREEDY, for instance, once you will extend your stay, be sure to pay it right a away otherwisr, the greedy owner will knock at your door, with intimidation, will ask for your payment... I sugges, in order not to experience what we have experienced, better not to go here and look for another hotel... not reccomendable....

Had to check-in to this hotel as we no longer cannot find a place to stay. This mini hotel is availabe 24hrs. We paid 2,300 php for their family room which i think is a bit pricey. The bed was ok but the toilet is very small and uncomfortable. No hot water (you must go down and request in their reception and they will just provide you a device you can place in the pale to make your water hot) which i think is a must in tagaytay. No soap or shampoo is provided but they do provide thin towels. TV was small. we plugged the tv once and the lights went out, have to go down to the recption to report but the owner only told us that the circuit braker is located near the stairs and that we could just switch it on. She didn't bother asking her staff to do the switching, service is poor. The guy in the reception was very attentive to our request but the lady owner is not. during our check-out they didn't even bother to check the rooms. All in all do not expect much from this hotel, if planning for a longer stay in tagaytay better check other hotels in the vicinity.

The owner is rude, no reception staff to accommodate us. The rooms are dirty. Owner even requested for our family upgrade but charge us for a 5 star hotel accommodation or Php2,800.00 per night. She complains to us that agoda.com pay them only for Php1,200.00 for our Php1,500.00 standard room booking but its not our problem. It just a simple house with dog and residing children playing in their grounds. I am wondering why agoda.com have their tie up with this establishment.

We checked in this place & we had a terrible experience & would not recommend it to anyone for a number of reasons. 1. The owner/receptionist was uneducated & very rude. She should not be in a customer service business. 2. The rooms are not hygienic, we developed allergy & skin rash. 3. There's no hot water, spare towels, spare linens & blanket. 4. It is a boarding house & the occupants of other rooms are noisy singing & strumming their guitars early in the morning & late at night. 5. The dogs in the compound are tide up on their leash & they bark all night. It's a horrible place!!!!

For an overnight stay and for a limited budget, Golden might be the answer. But if one is thorough enough in their search for a place to stay, it might not come across as one of your top picks. I'd give you the reasons why. Staff is friendly and eager to help but the provisions for the room are lacking. We were given a half used toilet paper, 1 measly bar of hotel soap, no toothbrush nor toothpaste, not even hot water in the bathroom. The lavatory is leaking everytime you use it. The AC room might pass on for a fan room because there is hardly a difference between the temperature. The TV is too small and compact to be placed high up, you can hardly watch anything unless you move closer to it. The bed was right by the windows and the curtains are too light to offer any privacy. But then again, operative word is limited. If you are looking for something better, you might want to dig deeper and look into better deals than settle for something like this for an overnight stay.

This hotel offers basic rooms for a decent price (in the Philippines a decent price is still super expensive compared to the rest of SE Asia). The location is okay, but the couple who run the hotel are amazing! They are welcoming and helpful, and go out of their way to make sure you don't get ripped off by the locals. they will tell you ho to get around, tell you the prices, and may even invite you to join them for dinner. This place made our stay in Tagatay, a lot more enjoyable
