I was here last year with my girlfriend. We have a tight budget and looking for a place to stay and saw this place after PAGCOR and near the shell station. I think we spent around P1500 for an overnight stay. The parking space is good, kids will enjoy since they have a playground. I guess this is a good place for a wedding reception...

I expected more from this hotel because it's a garden-type resort with Bali on its name. But truth be told, it's a substandard accommodation. The room is small and has dark ambiance. Food in the restaurant wasn't good enough and had small serving. And the worst part of it all, they gave us a room with a clogged toilet and dysfunctional flush. All they did was to give us a pail of water. This experience made me wish we had stayed in a homestay instead.

The place is very clean, honest and very professional staff. Accommodations were excellent, have hot water for showers, room size are very good, location is close to everything you wanted to do. Food in the restaurant excellent and ample parking and very private and quiet.

We stayed here for my sisters wedding, and the room we had is the VIP room. This room looks terrible.. it smells like an old house, the sink is clogged, The wall is full glass, has a curtain but seethrough, and they cant provide us with a different curtains. Do the management even have a brain! The reception is also worst all they do all day is to put some makeup on, and if you ask something they answer you with a mad voice, My sister call the manager because shes not on duty at that time and the manager said that this is really the VIP room we reserved, she said that this room has been damage by the storm thats why it looks different.. tsk! why did the management did not renovate the room since they have a lot of time. I posted some pics you'll be the judge.

Our room is small, they did not put any phone inside. You still need to text them for any inquiries. TV cable was not working properly. Bathroom is bad, smells like that someone left a pissed inside. Water heater doesn't work.

Me and my girlfriend had an overnight stay from Dec. 20 - 22, 2015 for our anniversary. Here is my feedback regarding Bali Village Hotel (BVH).

Things that went well:

1. The place is far from the main road which means you get to breathe fresh air. There are lots of plants which are landscaped that gives that garden look.

2. You have adequate choices in terms of services like salon, spa and dining.

3.Good water supply, water heater is functional.

4. The place is just a few meters away from SkyRanch and Mushroom Burger.

5. Adequate parking space.

6. Complimentary breakfast is good enough. My girlfriend is a coffee addict and she liked the refillable brewed coffee.

Things that could've been done differently:

1. If I would rate staff satisfaction, I would give them a "Neutral"(not smiling, we did not feel a warm welcome)

2. Having a swimming pool at the hotel is something that convinced us to stay but to our disappointment, it was unclean(with fallen leaves on the surface of the water and at the bottom of the pool and i think the water in the pool has not been replaced for weeks now. We approached the receptionist and she told us their personnel is having breakfast reason why its not clean. To think that Ive asked them umtiple times about it. So disappointed.

3. The room where we chose to stay(Rm. 301) has NO slippers, NO fridge, NO blower, NO bottled water. For the price of PHP3,800 - I think its not worth it. The room just had a table and 2 chairs with bedside rack with cable TV.

4. The bathroom door does not have lock from the inside.

5. The telephone is not functional.

6. The room had cockroaches, I killed 2.

7. We had a massage and I would say that its just okay. There are a lot more massage places in Tagaytay which is way better than BVH's massage service. My girlfriend did not even have the same way of massaging like I did when we talked about it after.

Overall, I would give Bali Hotel Village 2 stars if we look at the things that went and the things that could've been done differently. The PHP3,800 that we spent could've gone further had we spent the same at a different hotel here in Tagaytay.

Bali Village Hotel Resort & Spa is located immediately past the famous Taal Vista Lodge and Casino Filipino on Aquinaldo Highway in Tagaytay. Sounds nice but it's a real dump, for the money.

There are various room choices. My Bali Room was basic and located in a cramped U-shaped cluster of eight rooms; each with a small terrace. The room was tiny, as was the "matrimonial" bed and toilet. The room was so small the door of the single wardrobe opened only half-way before crashing into the foot of the bed.

There was a basic amenities kit, but no toilet seat! That's right, Ps3500 per night and toilet seat not included. There was hot water, but no working telephone. There were no water glasses, facial tissue or reading lamps - just a single overhead bulb.

The site is small and cramped, but with a nice garden and "information" centre ( reception/restaurant) with an unused outdoor swimming pool. The recommended dinner "buffet" is off-site; but will apparently offer a 10% discount. The "spa" is no doubt there somewhere, but of no apparent attraction.

I cannot recommend this hotel. There is nothing to redeem it. With loads of hotels in Tagatay, most will be more modern, better equipped and of better value for money. Immediately to the left of the Bali Village Hotel entrance a small hotel offers better room for one-third the price!

Room Tip: An even more expensive room will be nicer. But I doubt it will be good value.

Purchased via agoda. The room is small, only the queen sized bed could fit. The bathroom amenities were very old and not well-kept.

The place is big and has function rooms that can hold large eventsbut the place needs to be renovated. Or they should charge less

Its not our pln to stay in this hotel but since weve got no choice because of the heavy rains in tagaytay that night, this bali became our only place to stay until the sun rises.

The reception is quite small. So if you are travelling in a group, some of the guest will stay outside as the main occupant needs to fill up the reservation slip. They accept cards upon check in, and needs 500php cash at least, refundable upon check out. They gave us a room for two, worth 3500 or so. The room is just nice. The bed is not comfy enough, the aircon is not cool as well, but i think its quite fine since tagaytay is always having a cool wind, the room has no mini bar, compared to other 3500-priced rooms in other hotel. The toilet is also quite small. Towel came upon request. Very basic toiletries-toothbrush,tissue, i cant even remember if theres a soap, because i used my own thingys. No hanger on the cabinet. And the wardrobe is aging, the bed squirks (i think time to change bed frame huh!) and worse, the door cannot be locked!

The next day i requested to change rooms even if we are not staying for another night. Its for the sake of our belongings though.
The breakfast is served upon ordering, newly cooked. The attendant who helped me (dec15,2013) approachable and nice, sorry forgot his name. This fellow gave us a family room near the restaurant even if we are staying until 2pm only.

We went there with the whole family. They have a lovely garden and the whole place was just so pretty. We checked-in smoothly, got 4 rooms in one of their villas, it was actually quite nice. The room was roomy and homey, beds were nice and quite comfy and the amenities were great. Although the rooms are a little pricey.
