This is my 2nd stay, unfortunately this will be my last. 1. They show lack of compassion towards Person with Disability. I originally booked a room good for two (Php3,500), and added an extra person (Php500) so we can also get an extra bed. Im with my mom who is a PWD (hearing disability), husband and baby. My mom got her discount of Php350 (Php3,500/2 x .20) So I deposited P3,650 The night before our reservation, I sent them a message via Facebook messenger that Ill be adding extra person, my mom's friend (moms last minute request) who is also a PWD. I expected that my moms friend will also get a discount of Php350. (Php3,500 x .20). Plus two extra person (husband and me). I waited for them to confirm but they did not reply. Seenzoned yes. We couldnt upgrade to a family room because its no longer available according to their website. When we arrived, they said they were only going to apply the PWD 20% discount to the extra person (Php500). That I should pay Php400. Even though I asked if they can apply the discount to the room and not the extra person. The lady declined because she insisted that the extra person is the PWD. Then I asked her, is there an OR already because in my mind is it that really too late to change? She wrote an OR right then and there. Obviously they didnt want to lose a few profit. But lose a customer, sure. I couldnt tell my mom and her friend what rate they have given to each of them because how do you think that would make them feel? They wouldnt let them maximize their benefits as PWD. If you have a PWD in your family you would probably understand.. probably. 2. When we checked in they said they were going to send the extra mattress to our room before bed time. When my husband and I returned at around 9.30pm, (mom and friend stayed in the room) there were no extra mattress in the room, so we had to follow up. It appears they forgot. They sent one extra mattress, when I asked for the 2nd one they said theres no available mattress anymore because its with the other guests. The next morning we found out that the extra mattress theyve given us is good for two. It was a single mattress. 3. . When we asked the front desk for help because the heater is not working, she said the owners are already sleeping and she couldnt help us. Therefore.... no hot water for us especially for my baby. 4. Our breakfast. We ordered two coffee and one hot chocolate, one scrambled egg and two sunny side up. We were served two hot choco and one coffee. Two scrambled eggs and one sunny side up. Extra breakfast is Php150. Yep its not included in the extra person fee. Just to be clear our first stay did not include discount and we absolutely loved it (just me and my husband back then). We were so excited to come back and bring our baby with mom because the place is really homey, low key and strategically placed. However, I felt that they discriminated my mom and her friend.. so much for being excited. Our stay is not a pleasant one. If you dont have PWD in the family I guess there would be no problem at all for you. Except for the heaters that arent working, leak marks, wall stains, etc. In all fairness to them they let us check in early at around 1:30Pm because they think my baby needs sleep. But I cant really stop thinking how poor the customer service is. that Im writing this review during my stay.. We're never coming back. :( I hope they improve their service and train their staff well. Owners were kind but I was not able to relay my concerns to them because whenever we would question something it felt like a one sided conversation.

I really love the location of Twin Pines. It's just in front of a number of restaurants, all with Taal View! There's Leslie's, Starbucks, Army Navy, Café Briton, Charito by bag of beans and a lot more. It's the main reason why I booked there on the first place. The hotel owners and staff are very warm and hospitable. The bedroom is spacious, There is even a foyer table with books on it. (I spotted the Host by Stephanie Meyer, too bad there's no time to read) However, the room is a bit dated and for me, it feels stuffy inside. The linens and pillows smelled like it has been in the cabinet for a long time. I think they should spruce the space up a bit. Replace the old tiles, repaint the walls and most importantly renovate the bathroom. Try to modernize it because to be honest, I was a bit scared to go inside the bathroom.I like that it is large and even has a bathtub with two sinks but when I was there, I can't get out of the bathroom fast enough. Maybe because of the dark tiles and dark wooden cabinet underneath the sink? I don't know.. The space has a lot of potential, it just needs to be updated.

We arrived earlier than expected...and the owner/manager accommodated us and let us stay in the dining area as our room was still occupied. The room was ok...we had the suga pine room...the three beds were what I was expecting but the bed closer to the door was far from the ac so I had to position my head the other direction. Walls were a bit dirty and shower was ok but the water would trickle down onto the floor. Which can be a hazard. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind staying here again....also o lost my phone and the owner/manager emailed me about it but since I left the country already, I don't know if he will mail it to my cousin's house since I used it as my temporary address while visiting.

Our stay is very short and were a group of 10. The owner was so accommodating to our requests like addl discounts, cooking the food we brought in, room services like hot water and coffee. The place ia nothing fancy but clean and very near to night spots.

Do not be confused because Pine Suites Condotel (I'm not so sure) is having a on-going construction on the nearby areas. TWIN Pine Suites will be found in front of RSM Restaurant and besides Rivera Hotel (Landmark : Leslies, Yellow Cab, Army Navy and Subi-mon-TEA). To start with, this place is an old house of a two succesful persons, (I was having a conversation with them on the night of our stay) they were really nice and polite. It has apprxoximately 6 rooms. On our stay we had the Japanese Room which can accomodate 2 persons. The room is a bit spacious and has one bathroom, do not expect hotel services in Twin Pine Suites like making up your room from time-time, have a vallet parking, etc. There were also no security gaurds to cover the night. You will just be provided by a towel and basic toiletries, be ready for the heaters are not working (I just dont know to the other rooms). What a like about this place is that it is really nice and quiet. It can give you a sweet escape if you are working in a crowded places like Makati. Breakfast is served on the other side of the house, I can rate breakfast is really yum! :) Cost of the Room : 3,000 per night with FREE Breakfast (Japanese Room)

We went to Tagaytay with just our backpacks and no reservations. Luckily we stumbled upon Twin Pines Suites located close to the famous Leslie's resto and Starbucks tagaytay. We had an amazing stay! It felt like home away from home but much better. The rooms were extremely cozy and super neat. We had a veranda too so we got to enjoy the chilly tagaytay breeze. We felt very relaxed during our stay. I will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

I was in Tagaytay to attend my friend's wedding and a summer vacation for my family and close friends..it's a typical B&B accommodation,,My wife and kids stayed in Longleaf Pine room and The Japanese Pine room was occupied by my close friends family tree,The room was very comfortable aside from the bed that has a sharp wood corner (just have a look at your kids playing not to hit the corner)...very near to most Tagaytay's restaurants on ridge..

We rented the biggest room and we were 8. The room was clean and all the staff and owner were accommodating. I even haggle for the addl bed. They gave in and they even cooked our own noodles. We bought rice from them and charges i think was reasonable. Good place for budget travellers but don't expect a 5-star ambience!

I don't know if it's really a hotel or a house converted to a suites? It's a 2-storey house with I think 4-5 rooms upsatirs, we rented the longleaf pine, for P3,500 with free breakfast for 2 (overnight), in fairness to them the room was nice, the design and the smell of the room was okay, it has a hot/cold water(shower). The owner was very accomodating, he even approaches us to know what breakfast do we like. Also, they have a sticker of tripadvisory in their front door. The Problem is: 1st - We waited for 3hours before we check-in because the room was not available, I asked the owner first before we arrived if they have a Check-in time policy but he did'nt replied so I assumed there was none. 2nd - I thought it was a nice hotel but rather it was a house, because the pictures of the rooms in their website and the prices was expensive compare to other hotels. 3rd - they have a P100 service fee if your breakfast will be delivered on your room. 4th - the location was far from the tourist spot. So, if your a commuter you should add more budget on transportation.
