If you're looking for a place to stay that is truly away from the hustle of the city. This is the place to go :) One wouldn't have to worry about the noise either. Quiet and accomodating with the friendliest staff.
Last April 2019, I was looking for an affordable but good place to stay in Tagaytay with my parents. A friend of mine saw this and suggested if we want to check if we want to try. We checked if this would meet our demands: - Budget-friendly - Not too far - Clean - With breakfast - With parking area inside - With toilet/bathroom inside the room Since it seemed to meet our demands, we booked for a 3D2N stay via Agoda.com. Actually, we had 2 separate bookings. One with breakfast and the second was without so that in case we didn't liked the food, we could just buy food outside that could serve as our breakfast. Also, all bookings have massage included for the 3 of us. To make the long story short, it was a two thumbs up 👍👍! It's a very good place to stay if you just want to escape from the busy streets and the humid air of Manila. The staffs were very friendly and accomodating. Not sure if they normally have a lot of bookings during summer but since we booked 2 days before the PH holiday, it was a great timing because there were very few guests. The place was very peaceful even at night. Also, the breakfast that we had was good! 😁 Though if you would buy at their cafeteria separately, it may seemed pricey. Still, overall satisfation: 👍👍👍👍👍…
We booked Tagaytay Wingate just a week ago before our scheduled post valentine getaway and at first we really don't expect xanything from it. Location - its a little bit far from the other establishment and we were just lucky we have our own car but the road going to and from some were underconstruction. Place - the place is decent enough it is just a 2 story building but it has other rooms near the swimming pool and I guessed some in the underground. The parking space is well managed but their security guard and the security is very well implemented by asking your name upon entrance to ensure you have booked them. Amenities - It has a swimming pool that we haven't utilizes because it was not heated and at that time it is not that clean. I love the complimentary massage in their massage room for me and my husband. That is the highlight of our stay. Room - our room is the deluxe type room with its own restroom,tv, ref, electric heater and aircon for the water. I love the cleaniliness of the restroom and the bed is so nice. We just we noticed there's some dust in the room and that I started to sneeze and eventually I got a flu and my husband got a colds. The receptionist is so kind enough to give me some paracetamol when I asked for it in the evening. Overall we had a good sleep in the room. Food - The food is great. We had this comparison with the breakfast buffet we had with this known restaurant in tagaytay wherein we ate breakfast prior checking in versus the breakfast served in the hotel, and we can say that the taste of food was way more delicious. As I can remember we had a buffet breakfast in their cafeteria and there are 6 to 7 viands to choose from plus rice, soap, coffee, bread, juice, fruits, simple vegetable salad. We really enjoyed the food most especially the famous brewed coffee. I will definitely recommend the hotel for those who wants to have a relaxing stay away from the city. We will definitely go back :)…
Place is a bit far from the highway not to mention the road is under construction, you need to take a trike going there easier to go in/out for those who have a private car. No food shops nearby so better buy at the restaurants by the highway but place is quiet and peaceful for those who wants to destress and relax. Staffs are friendly and the place is well kept. Price is reasonable, with complimentary 1 hour massage and a plated breakfast. Room has basic amenities and slippers.
This is the third time we booked with this hotel. Hotel is very peaceful. Only one road to Balay Dako. Need a car for you to be able to move around since quite far from the center (Max's, Starbucks etc). You need to check in before 12am as the receptionist is closed from 12am to 6am. Also, if you need to call the housekeeping, make sure you request before 12am or after 6am.
