Stayed at this place just this weekend and we really had fun.

One thing that stood out for me was its tranquility. it being situated around 2km off the main road is not really a drag.

Perfect if you really want some peace and quiet.

Our room is just ok, the beds are nice and comfy.

The TV only had cable channels, but we did not go there to watch TV :)

The pool is not that big but even there were other guests, we almost always had the pool to ourselves. Maybe because it was cold.

The people are nice, the guard even helped in carrying our things to our room.

We had our breakfast outside, so maybe will try theirs next time.

Overall the stay was nice and we will definitely come back!

If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Tagaytay to spend quiet time with your family, you can consider Tagaytay Wingate Manor. It's a cozy place with clean rooms and helpful staff members. This accommodation establishment is close to the Ayala Malls Serin and Tagaytay Skyranch.

This place will help you to relax.

This place is superb with the ambience and staff though we have stayed for 1 night.

Hoping for a longer stay next time. Value for money is good. Staffs are friendly. I love the ambience.

The hotel is little far from the main road but by car, it’s accessible. The hotel is so-so with some cockroaches. The front desk personnel is not accommodating.
I don’t know if they are well-trained but sad to say we feel like they don’t make you feel welcome.
At first they said the room comes with breakfast and when we arrived, they said it does not include breakfast.
At their rate, there are better hotels along the main road with a better feel of tagaytay and gives you a more hospitable manner of welcoming you.

I do not like the policy in this hotel about the corkage fee. There is no complimentary early check in even though there are no other guests checked in. It is far from the town. You need to think twice before booking this hotel.

quite far from hiway. We need trycycle to go in and out of hotel. we had to go out and tour Tagaytay on foot. pretty much a hassle. too pricey for regular hotel. pool was too cold to swim in. pretty bad location, no mountain view as it was other side of Taal lake. Customer service was okay they were kind to us. We had to checkout that day so we asked to leave behind bags coz we still had to go to Tagaytay Picnic grounds and didnt want big bags to carry. I just took tryc to fetch bags again from hotel before boarding bus going home to manila. So thank you for the nice accomodations!

We stayed here 5 years ago for our wedding anniversary and I remembered we loved how clean and pretty the place is. Fast forward May 2016, we were surprised to see that this hotel has deteriorated, and looks like hasn't been well taken care of and managed well. The bathroom stinks of molds, the walls leak with water. The towels that should have been white are now yellowish. The room
is dirty, with strands of hair from the floor. The manager isnt the more willing to give us a 30-minute extension for check-out, says its a hotel policy. Well, I understand that a policy is a policy but somehow, they should have been a little more willing to bend considering that we were the only guests of the hotel, and we checked in late. I won't recommend staying at this hotel. I feel that there's more hotels around Tagaytay with a much better location that would give you better service, amenities and customer service.

I found out about this hotel thru their website and Booked for an overnight stay. The place is newly built with swimming pool, wifi and spacious hallways. one thing that i liked most about this place is that you can actually feel at home. I got the promo package at 2999 for an overnight stay that comes with welcome drinks, whole body massage for 1 hour and breakfast. Excellent customer service, friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are very nice and clean. They also have family rooms near the swimming pool area for large group accommodations. The breakfast that i chose was fried rice, egg and tawilis and they serve the food to your dining area of choice in the hotel. i highly recommend this hotel

Right off the bat, to be really honest, I wouldn't recommend this place. I wouldn't stay here again and would not want any of my friends to stay too.

I was with my husband and a friend when we went to this place. We just needed a place to sleep since we were going to a wedding very early in the morning the day after. Since we were 3, we specifically chose this hotel because (1) it was a budget place with one of the cheapest prices for a room with a Queen and Single bed; (2) one of my other friends recommended it. So we booked a Deluxe Room for 1 night thru Agoda.

I usually have a high tolerance of the places me and my husband travel to. But this particular Manor blew my top off. Here are the things that we experienced that led to this bad feedback:

1.) The location of the place was far. Do not follow Google Map's location of this place. It is wrong. It is correct that it is along Magallanes Drive, but not near Sta. Rita Road as it is placed in the map. I know Google maps is not their concern, but the map in the Manor's website is not helpful either. We asked locals near Sta. Rita road (there was a fruit stall) if they can direct us to where the Manor is, but they do not know.

2.) The contact no as shown by the Agoda Booking is not working. We called it numerous times in different days and time, but we have not connected to it successfully. It was not even ringing, you'll get disconnected right away. If you are a responsible hotel/accommodations provider, you should provide the correct way to contact you.

3.) When we finally found the place, we found the parking space so small. It was hard to drive to and park and get out if full.

4.) The registration made us pay an extra Php 1,500 because there was the 3 of us staying. Most hotels don't do this even though their ads/booking sites say it's for max 2 people, and that's 3, 4, or 5 star hotels.

What really ticks me off is that the only amenity that they have added was the towel and the breakfast. Not even the massage, not even toiletries, not even an extra blanket or pillow. The single bed was already there. They do not have anything to add to it. The fee, that high, was unnecessary.

5.) We were promised a queen-sized bed, but what we got was a double bed (slightly larger than a single bed but smaller than a queen size bed). It was awful. And to top it off, I am pregnant and me and my husband had a hard time sleeping.

6.) When we asked the registration about these, she answered negatively in a very arrogant manner. We would accepted if she would just say all other rooms are taken, but to answer your customers very arrogantly is very irritating.

Their breakfast was nothing special. We could get something better for Php 200 outside. The drinks are not refillable (it's in a small cup), and it's a tiny breakfast set. The only thing we found good in this place was the massage. But to go through all these again, even if you pay me to go back, NO WAY.

All in all, we only stayed here for 12 hours, and I really regret staying here even for that short amount of time. We should have booked somewhere else. So, folks, book somewhere else!
