This is no doubt a good location for a hotel in Tagaytay. Too bad the hotel itself wasn't that great. Although the staff was friendly and hospitable, there were few things why it is disappointing to stay here: 1. Rooms have no view. 2. Very slow internet and no phone signal inside the room. 3. Utensils were all disposable which made it very hard to eat and drink hot coffee. 4. Some lights were not working. 5. The only thing that made it didn't feel like a motel is a free breakfast.

This Hotel has no Windows in the so calked De Luxe rooms. The staff members are friendly but never managed to serve the right breakfast.Always ham or sausages despite you every evening tell them VEGGIES and no ham, no sausages etc.fir the next morning. Room cleaning ok IF you tell them to clean. Carpet extremely dirty. NO laundry service. Wifi so poor connection I am on Telecom connection all the time at the hotel. NO alternative escape route in case of fire. Price same level as other much better hotels we have found here. Tagaytay as such is a nice place with stunning view over the lake Taal with vulcano.

Stayed for a night before seeing friends in tagaytay. The room is clean, staff was friendly and parking area is spacious and safe. The hotel is a bit old, but its good that they can still maintain its cleanliness. They have breakfast options that you can choose upon checking in, you can also choose to eat at the pantry or have it delivered at your room at the time you want. The cr’s door tho can’t be closed properly in our room and the shower curtains are missing. Basic things like disposable toothbrush, soap, mini toothpaste, buds, slippers are given, towels are clean and they have hair dryer as well. Ordered pancake and ham and cheese omelet with brewed coffee for breakfast. Food was so-so but brewed coffee taste like... well, not brewed coffee *yuck* hahaha. If you get hungry tho, just outside the hotel, there are a lot of food establishments you can try. Overall, it was an average hotel practical for just an overnight stay.

The comfort of bed is amazingly surprising for a an affordable accommodation like Magallanes Square, thou the dining area is a bit smaller but it's also homey and clean , a good parking area is available enough for their number of rooms, breakfast was affordable and I tried boneless bangus and it doesn't disappoint me at all, the hotel was surrounded by authentic korean and mixed filipino restaurants that caters to different cravings just right down every corner with convenient store nearby for your personal amenities the most valuable asset in this hotel I can say it's their manager Ms Julie Ann who is very proactive and really provide a genuine service to all their guests including me and my friends surely will recommend this affordable hotel to all my friends who love to visit Tagaytay thank you Ms Julie and team keep up the good work and continue providing your guest with your genuine hospitality.

Friendly staff, wait time for check in and check out are less than five minutes, cozy rooms, there’s an ATM, convenience store, and plenty of restaurants near the hotel. Even if you go hungry in the middle of the night, you can select where you want to eat. There’s also a parking lot with a lounging area where you can smoke which is a huge plus for me.

I loved my stay in this hotel. We went in tagaytay to attend a wedding. We really enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms. Accommodating staff. In just a call, in a few seconds they were there in your door knocking. So accessible to famous restaurants in tagaytay. Loved it.

This is the second time that we picked the hotel as a second choice to stay in Tagaytay. And like the first one, we were completely satisfied. After our first visit in October, I left my pants in the cabinet. Since we were already on the way back to Manila, I called the hotel and told the staff that I forgot my jeans and Ms. April told me she have it already for safekeeping. True enough I got the jeans back when we returned for another stay. Our room this time was on the ground floor. It had a queen-sized bed. We requested for another bed because the room could accommodate two persons only. The beds were comfortable enough to provide a good night's sleep. The amenities included toiletries and complimentary water. The air conditioning was always in the right temperature. The bathroom had hot and cold water. Breakfast can be taken in the restaurant or in the room. What impressed me most was the how the hotel took good care of the jeans that I left behind. This speaks well of the management and staff of Magallanes Square Hotel. To sum it all up, it is an excellent place to spend vacation in Tagaytay. I would highly recommend to others to experience it.

If you will judge this hotel by its facade, you would expect that the interior would be practical dilapidated. But no! The AC in their function room is perfectly functioning, the guest rooms are really good and the food... are veery delicious! One of the best tasting food in a hotel/event area. All the items tasted really good - almost great. The rates are very cheap and the personnel are very friendly and accommodating.

We went here for my birthday last year. Me and my boyfriend planned to have dinner at Tagaytay and stayed there for a night. We booked the room through Agoda and everything went smooth. Room was spacious, bed was so soft and exceptional! (I can stay in that bed all day). The accomodation comes with a breakfast. They let us choose our breakfast upon check in which can be delivered right at our hotel room. The breakfast in bed was awesome! The hotel has a huge parking perfect for us since we used to go out during our stay to find something to eat. Were not afraid tl leave as there will always be an available parking for us once we come back. The hotel is nearby stalls and resto. Perfect place to book your staycations in Tagaytay. We are looking forward to go and stay here again.

A cozy place to stay and conveniently located at where almost everything you need is less than a stone throw away. Places for relaxing, good food and souvenirs are reachable by foot. I will surely come back and stay here for more. In fact, I'm already booked for this Summer.
