It was at the end of a long and exhausting day that my wife, daughter and I checked into The Inn at Cliffhouse Tagaytay and, quite frankly, at that point, I was really just interested in having a bed to crash onto. But my mood quickly picked up after laying eyes on the gorgeous property that The Inn is built on. Checking in with Johnny at the front desk was quick, easy and delicious, thanks to some complementary chocolate hazelnut cookies and an espresso. Our room, The Brant Point Suite, was absolutely beautiful! It had all the creature comforts one can hope for. Plus, it was spotless and it smelled great. I'm certain it would get Anthony Melchiorri's (Hotel Impossible) thumbs up. Kudos to innkeeper Jennifer's attention to detail. Our private veranda had a vista to…
What a way to celebrate and have the spacious perfect room for special occasions. My wife and I met Jeff (manager) and John (front desk) before we left to comment what a beautiful hotel for us to stay in. This only has 4 rooms, but I'm glad that our relatives booked in the same hotel. You open the curtains and to the balcony overlooking Taal Volcano. Bathroom was wide... Room itself was soo spacious. The room was very clean. Thank you to the staff that made our stay enjoyable.
We booked all 4 rooms for an overnight stay to celebrate our grandmother's 75th birthday. This small but cozy inn was perfect for our family bonding. To our surprise, they even prepared a well crafted fondant cake with our grandma's name. All rooms also came with complimentary imported chocolates, snacks, and drinks. The ROOMS were very spacious and decorated in a way that will make you feel like it was your home. Even the bathroom was big enough for two people to use at the same time. The rooms had 2 queen beds each, a TV, a couch, and two chairs, and it was airconditioned. The two corner rooms also had a jacuzzi outside. My three cousins and I fit in it but I think it was meant for only two. About the VIEW, just outside the rooms, you get a porch with a picture perfect view…
We stayed here from the May 3 to May 7. We were treated to the highest standard by Jeff and his team. Only 4 rooms in this Bed and Breakfast but beautiful rooms and view. Would go back for sure. Very quiet and best suited to Families and couples We were there for a friends wedding in Tagatay. Weather is cooler than Manilla but still warm.
It was a memorable day as my daugther got married last March 2016. We stayed at Minots Ledge for her wedding preparations and overnight stay. The room was perfect for our needs especially it is spacious and organized. The view was romantic and relaxing facing the lake and volcano. Staffs are hospitable, helpful, passionate and polite. The set menu breakfast was overwhelming and delicious! My family really enjoyed our short stint yet memorable. Definitely will recommend The Inn, one of the best hotels I ever stayed!
We discovered The Inn when we were looking for our wedding reception venue. Jeff Mancao, the manager, introduced us to the Clearwater House which is owned by the same owners of The Inn, and at that moment we fell in love with Clearwater because of the landscape and view of the Taal Lake. The week after our visit, we immediately reserved Clearwater and it comes with a free night at one of the larger suites at The Inn. Fast forward to our big day. Our experience in The Inn was as great as in Clearwater. Johnny and the other staff treated us like king and queen, tending to our every need, making sure our things are secure and serving us food that are at par with the surrounding restaurants in Cliffhouse. The Red Suite where we stayed at was very clean, well set up and has every…
We booked clearwater resthouse for our wedding reception last 13th February 2016. Included in our package is an overnight stay in one of the rooms in Cliffhouse Inn. We opted to book the room right after the reception because we knew we would be exhausted and the hotel is conveniently situated 3-5mins walk from the reception. When we got there, Jeff was personally checking the entire room and he welcomed us himself. The entire room was pristine with personal touches all over the room. There was a personal note and chocolates and other treats prepared for us. The room was huge and beautiful, the view was relaxing but more than anything else it was the excellent service provided by Jeff and his team that made the entire experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back…
We had a great Valentine's weekend get-away, with plenty thanks to the quintessential hotel manager, Mr. Jeff, and his wonderful staff. We were welcomed with a hand-written (!!!!) note from Mr. Jeff; it was one of those little touches that made for a great stay. Our Montauk Point suite had the most awesome accommodations and amenities. It was very spacious, had the most comfortable beds, had the largest bathroom ever, and had an amazing view from the veranda. And, it had Wi-Fi, too, in case you still wanted to connect to the outside world, haha! The very special treat was the exquisite breakfast: triple berry yogurt with homemade granola, English bangers, baked beans, baked potato with egg (wonderful!!!), buttered poached gala apple with cinnamon puffs and whipped cream…
i did not expect that there is a property like this in Tagaytay. The rooms are spacious and the interiors are beautiful! Everything is clean and well thought off! And the staff are nice, friends and very accommodating. I will definitely come back here :)
From the knockout views to the super attentive staff, this is a great place for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of urban Manila. The management is wonderful and accommodating, and so so thoughtful. A huge plus that there's WiFi, exquisite breakfast and all sorts of thoughtful gifts along the way.
