A very civilised, small inn with the most friendly staff - we love the homey-feeling of the New England-style ambiance , comfortable and welcoming, and the wonderful breakfast. It's the perfect escape for city dwellers wanting peace and fresh air. The staff, led by Innkeeper Jeffrey, are five-star all the way. As if this wasn't enough, it's just steps away from possibly the best restaurant in Tagaytay: Firelake Grill run by chef Paul. I definitely recommend doing both the Inn and the Grill together for a perfect escape at Cliffhouse.
The Inn at Cliffhouse Tagaytay is a winner in terms of service. I want to thank all the stuff for making our vacation a memorable one. Especially to Mr. Johnny Pagdato. From the start till the end. Booking, check-in, small request and big request, breakfast up to check-out. He was there to make sure that we are comfortable and having our needs being meet. We will surely be going back to this place. Thank you very much!!
We were here last march for my sister's wedding. The place is very nice. The room is so big that 3 more beds can still fit in it. The view from our room is breathtaking. The bathroom is very spacious. Staffs are very friendly and accomodating, will always greet you with a big smile from their face. A lot of complimentary goodies like imported chocolates and snacks. The room has a code so you will get privacy and security at it's best. The breakfast is so good. Not the usual breakfast some other inn's are serving. Over all our experience here is very memorable and unforgettable not only because we we're here for my sister's wedding but because of how awesome the place that literally made us not to forget it.
The Inn at Cliffhouse Tagaytay did not disappoint. Choosing it as a place to cap off my 50th birthday celebration was one of the best decisions I made during my birthday month. Its proximity to other establishments is another factor. The staff were oh so very accomodating and attentive to the needs of its guests. Thank you to John and Jeff who made our stay a memorable one. The overall cleanliness and smell of our room as welll as the common areas were excellent. The food served at breakfast were tasty and healthy. Lastly, the compound is well guarded which gave me a sense of security and peace of mind during my stay.
Friday night, I looked for a place to stay in in Tagaytay as we wanted to have a quick vacation to celebrate my and my daughter's birthday and I found The Inn at Cliffhouse Tagaytay. It turned out to be such a wonderful experience! The room was so spacious for the 4 of us (their maximum # of guests). The Innkeeper, Mr. Jeff Mancao, and team provided personalized service and gave us a lot of surprises! It was a truly memorable experience and the view of Taal Volcano from the balcony was magnificent. The restaurants right at The Cliffhouse provided yummy food. We'll definitely go back. Highly recommended!
The Inn is an excellent place for relaxation and peace. The rooms are huge and very well-appointed with super comfy beds, the patio offers an obstructed view of the lake, and breakfast is filling and tasty. The service is excellent all around. I appreciated the personal touch of giving a little plush toy to each child and letting the kids have their fill of the mini-bar goodies. Breakfast is indeed scrumptuous, bordering on decadent. I would suggest that kids be offered a simpler choice that is not so rich, such as scrambled eggs instead of eggs benedict. The bathroom was also well-appointed and I would suggest more or larger toiletries (such as bubble bath) for a room that size. The bath gel bottles are a bit too tiny. In a nutshell the Inn is perfect if you want to plant…
The room is located below the Cliffhouse commercial establishments. After check-in at the reception, we were escorted to a keycard-locked door. We walked down a staircase and were led to our room. We had the most relaxing stay in their Brant Point Suite. Everything was spick and span. Huge room and bath. The room has a big cabinet, a magazine nook, tub in the shower, tv with cable, dvd selection, great wifi connection, well-stocked mini bar and a balcony overlooking Taal. The bed and pillows were very comfortable to sleep in. The free English breakfast the following day was heavenly and very filling. No rice, though for those of you who are expecting rice-heavy Filipino breakfasts. The Inn's is located beside famous food establishments and is also near the Ayala Serin mall. …
Tis was my first visit to Tagaytay and was truly the highlight of my vacation! This Inn is located at an extremely strategic position with a spectacular view of Taal. We stayed at the Suite which was so spacious that even with the 2 queen size beds, there was still space for another 3 more beds. Waking up in the morning and smelling the crisp air from the balcony was heavenly. Mr Jeffrey, who manage the premises made everything from our bfast menu to our stay and the services rendered to us with a personal greeting. Lovely experience throughout. The only set back was the lack of hot water but it was not a spoiler for us.
Finally We have found a home in Tagaytay. A wonderful Recharging and refreshing weekend to look forward to. Clean and fresh, attractively equipped, spacious room and bath and waking up to a hearty and lovely breakfast. From the balcony of our room, Nature calls with the rhythmic sound of crickets and chirping birds. We felt the genuinely personal attention, the smiles from the guard, personnel at housekeeping and at the charming breakfast place, to the reception and A gem in Mr Jeffrey Mancao. They all have this sense of ownership and the feeling of joy and pride in what they do. One would deduce that the Owners and management have done an exceptional job in keeping its employees to a high standard customer service and productivity. The Inn at Cliffhouse Tagaytay has gone…
We stayed at the Inn when it first opened and enjoyed our stay then . We came back with a bit of apprehension because I'm not sure if it will maintain the clean and beautiful inn we remember it to be . I must say it far exceeded our expectations . Reservation with John was seamless and when we arrived the room was ready and immaculately clean. The experience starts at check in and right away your vacation starts. No fuss , no hassle and upon entry the scent of lavender already relaxes you. Minot's ledge is exactly as we remember it . No sign of wear and tear . The room is immaculately clean. The veranda with the best view of Tagaytay and a very inviting jacuzzi . This stay was for peace and quiet and that's what we got . Jeff the manager made sure all details were in place. You…
