Disconnect to Reconnect.

We chose to stay at Inn At Cliffhouse Tagaytay for our first leisure trip after 21 long months in this pandemic. We were very particular as to where to stay as we were staying vigilant still and wanted to feel safe - away from fully booked and sought after resorts and hotels - yet with the benefit of some premium amenities and personalized service.

The Inn did NOT disappoint.

If you are looking for value for money, one of a kind accommodation, consistent and genuine hospitality partnered with great food, this is THE place.

I won’t delve into the details - read the excellent reviews of their other guests. You’ll read a lot about how beautiful, comfortable and private the suites are. You’ll also read about Johnny (the great innkeeper)! I also have to acknowledge Elkey, their very warm and attentive receptionist, and Jennifer who went above and beyond in answering all my queries in Messenger and have extended a lot of help to make our stay memorable. She and her staff truly made our disconnecting from our daily lives possible and simply amazing!

Wedding is one of the most sacred things that God created for a man and a woman. As exciting as it seems to get married, there will be much planning to do, money to spend, and choosing the 'perfect' place to celebrate this most joyful event with your loved one. Me and my wife now, really longed for a beautiful place for our wedding & honeymoon. It was pandemic time year 2021, and restrictions and compliance have to made, so finding a place to suit our needs was very difficult.

But by the grace of God after a lot of hunting, we stumbled upon this place- Clear Water House with complimentary honeymoon at The Inn at Cliffhouse Tagaytay.
We got intimidated at first with their package rates, but the reviews are enticing to our minds and eyes. So, why not give it try and inquire? 😁 As a man, I ought to give the best for my future wife, so I and my then fiancée, inquired about their offers. John Pagdato, one of their superb staff, was very patient to show and explain their brochures and he also assisted us in the ocular both in CWH and The Inn.
It was love at first sight to see the views of Taal, and the nearby place of Batangas, with the best perspectives you can imagine. The garden setting with mountains as its backdrop, like a proposal we both said 'yes'. To say the least, here are our rating from their service, accommodation, price, and venue itself.

Service & accommodation: 10/10 ✨ They customized a package for us and helped us choose the best inclusions in the package. We were given freebies by its very kind and generous owner; as well as VIP treatment by its accommodation team. The staff were very hospitable and accommodating. Suffice to say, we were well taken care of.

Price: This can be subjective, but during that time, they offered the best deal for us, given it was pandemic and they also extended discounts plus freebies during our stay.

Venue: The Inn at Cliffhouse Tagaytay offers a unique and magnificent view of Taal, The place is very serene, warmth and romantic, with the garden setting and mountains on the backdrop. The room we stayed in was also spacious and we especially enjoyed the Jacuzzi with the scenic view of Taal. 😊

The Inn at Cliffhouse is simply the place to be!

Suite is great, spacious functional, and aesthetically designed; colors and decors are awesomely selected; the luscious verdant garden is refreshing to the eyes and soul; and with a Jacuzzi in the balcony that overlooks the majestic scenery of the Taal Lake and Volcano.

Staff, leads by Johnny the Innkeeper, is incredibly warm, friendly with delicate attention to guests’ needs; the Chef’s breakfast is delicious and exquisite with personalized daily menu. The reception is cozy and welcoming. Serenity, comfort, and cleanliness definitely abounds in The Inn.

It is great to be here. The Inn at Cliffhouse is highly recommended in making memorable and wonderful memories.

The size of the room & bathroom, mattress, beddings, towels, and furniture are all top-notch. The room was clean and smelled good. We appreciated the handwritten note and the goodies they gave us. The staff were friendly and attentive. As for the breakfast they served, it was delicious. It was definitely more interesting than your usual buffet-style breakfast. The only noticeable lapses that they made are: 1) there was no bidet or dipper in the toilet; and 2) there wasn’t enough bathrobes prepared for all of us beforehand. We had to request it. But overall, we had a pleasant stay. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

Superb! This is my third time to stay at Cliffhouse Tagayaty. I went there before with my girlfriend now my wife. Its our first time going with our kids. The rooms are spacious. The ample space provided a comfortable environment, allowing us to unwind and relax and our kids really love it ! Plus the view of the Taal Volcano. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the presentation was visually appealing. The attentive staff ensured that the breakfast experience was top-notch, always available to assist and provide excellent service. It was indeed a relaxing experience. The combination of spacious rooms, delightful breakfast, impeccable service, and convenient location made it a standout choice for a Bed and Breakfast in Tagaytay. We will go back for sure!

You really do need to stay a night or two so you can relax and just take in the great view of Taal Lake.

The suites are really large and you won't be bumping into anyone while in there.

The staff will really go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your start. Personalized welcome letter? Neat. Wine for a nightcap? Sweet. Chocolates and other freebies for the young ones? Cool.

The mattress, beddings, and everything else is first class. You also get safety helmets with lights in case there is an emergency.

The restos within the place are nice and have variety, you got italian, a coffee shop, a cake shop, an all rounder. And if those don't tickle your fancy, you can go outside and everything is within 1-2 minutes of you (Starbucks, Leslie's, Max, etc.).

Everyone loved it here, especially the kids. We plan to return, maybe during the summer!

Yes! It was the best staycation. 😁 the kids enjoyed our stay and we never felt unsafe.

My kids felt that we are really dining out when we were eating at the reception area (breakfast salon). My eldest(9 years old) cried at first because of overjoy haha. We really didn't eat outside since the pandemic.

Our family had a VIP experience and I really commend Johnny and the curly girl in the reception (forgot her name ☹) for the treatment.

This staycation is really worth the money. For sure, we are going back and we will try the other suites.

We love the food. The full breakfast is really awesome. The steak in Fire Lake Grill is super delicious; we ordered it for two consecutive nights. 😁

I’m glad that I chose The Inn at Cliffhouse for my family’s staycation. Staffs were really nice. The room is spacious. Everything you need is provided when you arrive even umbrella they let us borrowed it since it was raining that day. The front desk staff was excellent she explained everything. Covid ready, emergency exit too. The bathroom is huge. The location of the place is perfect, there are 3 restaurants inside the place so you dont even have to drive. Love the view while in the hot tub too.. Its the perfect getaway.

I made the right decision of bringing my wife and my kids to the cliffhouse (The Inn) at Tagaytay to spend the long weekend as well as our wedding anniversary. We love the place because it has a fantastic and panoramic view of Taal Volcano. The food was great and the staff headed by Johnny and Elkie supported by Rain are super friendly, courteous and very accommodating to all our needs. Truly a very nice place to relax and free oneself of the hassle, bustle and drudgery of city life. One will not be faulted to recommend this very beautiful place to built wonderful memories. It is really my honor and privilege to stay thereat.

The room is spacious. The view of taal lake and volcano is magnificent. Every is clean and the scents are just amazing. But what really stood out are the great effort from the inn keeper Johnny to make our stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. The personalised letters, greeting, and items as well as the sincere desire to fulfil requests is what really stands out. We will definitely be back.
