Summit Ridge ranks high among reliable hotels and event spaces in Tagaytay—a clear favorite by vacationing families and weekend warriors, as well as by organizers who want to pull off a hassle-free occasion in Tagaytay’s cool and crisp weather. My company enjoyed our annual meeting, thanks to their accommodating events staff. Their rooms open up to the amazing vista of Taal Lake, while their top-class and well-managed spa is a destination in itself.

My family stayed in the Summit Ridge Tagaytay in the recent holidays. Although there are many guests, we felt secure as the hotel implement strict protocols in terms of sanitation. There's only one glitch where one elevator is not working. We had a buffet lunch in the Summit Café and really enjoyed the sumptuous varieties of food showcased. The price is really value for money. We enjoyed our buffet breakfast as well which is included in the Room Rate.

We stayed in the 2BR Suite which has a private balcony with the Taal volcano and lake view. It was a relaxing & magnificent view, indeed. The living and dining area room is separated from the bedrooms, it is sectional so you can enjoy little privacy among family members. It also has a mini kitchenette where you can cook. Unfortunately, we were not able to cook because the hotel has direct access to its mini-mall where you can find a lot of restaurants & shops. This hotel is strategically located in the heart of Tagaytay as it's near to the famous landmarks, tourist spots & well-loved restaurants. Although the room has a shared bathroom, it is huge, clean, and complete with bathroom amenities. My daughter enjoyed the cartoon TV programs while inside the room & had fun swimming most of the time. We wish though that the pool is a little bigger to accommodate everyone. The room is also equipped with Mini Ref and a coffee & tea facility.

My biggest takeaway from this trip was the great hospitality of the staff. We received a superb service from the front desk to the bellman, up to the housekeeping team. Engineer staff also came and guided me on how to maneuver the TV channels, he was very helpful. They are all very nice, efficient and friendly. We were also welcomed by the General Manager Mr. JM OUANO III who made us feel at home. We are grateful for his presence and for seeing him on top of everything including the Easter Activity event we attended. It was fun. Congratulations to the Summit Ridge team! Job Well Done!

Room was good and nice to stay there if you want to be near malls, restaurants like Josephines and Bag of Beans. Staff was very accommodating and they also allowed requests for change of towels when asked. It was really quiet in the hotel and peaceful. Breakfast at the cafe was really good, try their tocino and tapsilog.

They really sanitize everything to make you feel safe, and make sure you have a comfortable stay. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay for a short vacation. Their hotel manager and front staff were also very accommodating.

Checked in for 2 nights , 1/2-4. We are staying in room 706 . The room looks clean and tidy and the bed is firm and comfrey! The balcony views over towards the volcano lake. Gorgeous !
The location is great to go to interest points and nearby shopping mall and Hypermart with a McDonald near to it. Actually there’s a Starbucks next to the hotel. Can’t ask for more!
The downsize is there’s only 2 pieces of face tissue papers left and no hand towels (only 2 bath towels) . Called to the housekeeping but the answer was make call to the front desk! We did with no answer! Kept trying and final got through. When the housekeeping came with the wrong items! However, the redelivery didn’t as long as the previous one!
Overall it’s a good hotel to spend the holidays !

Our party of 11 just checked out this morning after spending 2 nights in this hotel. What a disappointment! We had 2 two bedroom suites on the 9th floor for my kids and their families, and 1 one bedroom suite on the 7th floor for me and my wife. The building is old and rundown. It offers a good view of the Taal Lake, and next to a small shopping mall. But other than that there nothing is good about it. Checking in and out took forever and the staff could not handle the load of holiday travelers. There were long lines for the breakfast buffet and on the 2nd day we just decided to skip it and eat outside. We were out almost the whole day on New Year’s eve. We got back around 1am and found that the keycards to our room no longer worked and had to get assistance from the attendant. Upon entering the room I noticed that my small pouch containing the electric plug adaptors and cords for charging my electronic devices as well as a battery power pack were missing. I distinctly remember leaving them on the writing desk before we left for the day, thinking that they were not valuable enough to be locked inside the safe. Sad to say I was wrong. The pouch and the items were probably not worth very much, but still it bothers me that someone would take them from a supposedly secure room. I reported the incident to the proper supervisors and they informed me that they were going to look into it. We have stayed at many hotels in the past and this is the only time that I can recall having personal items taken from my room. My lesson learned: if there is something you do not want to lose, no matter the value or the cost, take it with you or keep it in the safe. There are so many other hotels in the area. I am so disappointed with Summitridge and I would not recommend this one.

I have stayed at the Summit Ridge twice so it can’t be too bad BUT I don’t think I will again.
The first time single room was good, large bed, settee, TV with international news channels, tea coffee facilities etc. The second time I was sharing a twin room but it was the same room but the settee was replaced with a second bed both standard singles.
However the general ‘not so good bits’ for both visits were: the hot water is only cool and only one soap for bath and wash basin - so it had to be shared between the two of us!!! Really - share soap!
The breakfasts are expensive with possibly a good selection of local foods but the lack of bacon and cooked ham was to so good for me being an English breakfast type of guy. Eggs were cooked to order but you have to go outside on the veranda to order them.
For 3 of the 4 breakfasts I went to the nearby Coffee Bean only a short walk away across the car park. The dinners were not too bad and I did like the ‘gambas’.
The cocktails are half price for happy hour up to 8:00pm. Beware the vodka Martinis!
Nice helpful staff and good views of Lake Taal but usually misty.

We decided to stay for an overnight stay in Tagaytay after my husband and I attended an event. We booked the hotel via Agoda and got a great deal.

When we arrived at the hotel we were immediately assisted to bring out our luggage and I immediately went to the reception to check in.. it was a breeze however they are not like other hotels which will allow you to check in early. They advised us that they were fully booked the night before but when we were waiting in the lobby it seems that they were not because there are a few guest who checked out. Maybe its there alibi not to allow early check in and late check out (because they mentioned the same thing when we were asking to be extended for maybe 30mins - 1 hr) they also advised the same thing that they are fully booked given that its a Monday. We were checked in at the 8th floor. I got disappointed when we got in our room. Our room is very outdated and dirty. Wires around the TV are loose, Aircon is leaking, No floor towels in the CR, Lampshade is very dirty, Walls and floors has cracks, balcony has rust (which is very dangerous for guest), its noisy outside our room I’m not sure if that’s an aircon compressor outside our room but its really annoying. The wifi keeps on disconnecting on my phone and laptop I had to re-connect over and over again. They have a good service though it was very fast maybe because there aren’t enough guest its just that when they knock in your room its feels like your obliged to open it immedietly as after they doorbell they will knock endless time and shout room service (unprofessional way) and oh its just sad that they also charge 100.00 for a bucket of ice I stayed in other hotels and they don’t charge us for that. Amenities is also not recommended for use such us pool area I find it really dirty as the water is cloudy. They should train their staff more when I tried calling customer service I didn’t even understand a word she said as she was in a hurry talking to me and they were not courtious over the phone. Basement parking has no use as I think it became the hotel’s stock room.

However let me also say what I like about the hotel.
1. Location wise is perfect it has a very nice view of Taal.
2. Good breakfast plus they offer refreshments beside the elevator all day
3. Pet friendly
4. Security guards are attentive
5. I like the lobby
6. Fast service (though needs to improve quality of service)

Not recommended as of now not until they update there room and amenities..

Summit Ridge Tagaytay taught us on how to guarantee the delivery of appropriate service to our customers, which we implemented immediately. Summit Ridge was selected by a number of students as the location for their required onsite job training for the Food and Beverage course, and I was one of those students. When it comes to instructing us on how to perform the standard services offered by the hotel, the General Manager and the other Managers showed an incredible amount of patience and understanding. I would like to express my gratitude to the General Manager as well as the other managers who were in charge of their respective departments for putting in their maximum effort and delivering outstanding services, both of which contributed to the guests' positive experiences and their desire to return to the hotel. Thank you, as well, for our senior crews, who not only supplied powerful services that won't dissatisfy the customers but also ensured the cleanliness of the hotel. Last but not least, I would like to extend my gratitude to all of our loyal customers who have contributed valuable feedback that has allowed the hotel to continue to evolve and improve its offerings. It is our sincere desire to visit again, this time not only as observers but also as customers of the services we previously rendered. Kudos to the Summit Ridge Hotel Tagaytay! I pray that you have continued success in your business endeavors.

This is our 4th time. My parents love ot here.
Staff is accommodating. We loved the acoustic night at the Summit Cafe. Maybe management can promote dinner packages to entice more diners. Music was great! Breakfast buffet was good but the chicken fingers was a bit dry. My kids loved the pancakes!! Food attendant, Marky, did an awesome job in assisting us. Room was spacious. The toilet bowl though needed to be cleaned more. It was a bit yellowish.
Overall, our stay was sweet! Thank you!!

I originally booked 14 days stay at the Summit Ridge Hotel, Tagaytay via 2 separate Agoda bookings from 4/6/22 to 15/6/22 (11 days) and 15/6/22 to 18/6/22 (3 days), in a Deluxe Twin room. The Deluxe Twin room was very nice, spacious and had good facilities. I was fortunate to meet the Summit Ridge Hotel General Manager: Jose Marie OUANO after a few days into my visit. He kindly upgraded us into a two bedroom Junior Suite on the 9th floor of the hotel. Our stay at this grand hotel went from being very good to exceptional. The magnificent views from the 9th floor overlook the Taal Lake and volcano and other Tagaytay attractions. The Junior Suite was spacious with two bedrooms, a safe, air conditioning, a kitchenette, a large lounge and bathroom. It had free good speed wifi, stove, microwave oven, large fridge, A/C & 2 cable tv's (in the master bedroom and loungeroom), king sized bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. The master bedroom and the lounge each had their own veranda's to go outside to view the magical Taal lake and Volcano views. This hotel is ideally centrally located in Tagaytay and is close to many local attractions and restaurants. Located next to the hotel is a Robinsons Supermarket and small mall with many restaurants, a starbucks & is nearby to many convenience stores. The outside appearance of this hotel is impressive and the lobby area is grand and impressive. The management & staff were all very friendly and helpful, the service was excellent and the hotel was very clean. There is ample free car parking outside the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value and good quality hotel in Tagaytay, Philippines. The location is terrific, the staff during my visit were fantastic and I highly recommend this hotel. I regularly travel to the Philippines and I will definitely stay at the Summit Ridge Hotel in the near future. This hotel would be suitable for short and longer visits to Tagaytay.

Dear Ms Ren_pixie., Mabuhay and greetings from Summit Ridge Tagaytay. Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us. With regards to your inquiry, we have a storage room available where we can securely keep your five pieces of luggage. And regrettably, we do not currently have transportation services that can pick up and drop off guests at the airport. However, there are airport-accredited taxis available that can be arranged to travel to Tagaytay.
