We had a seminar/conference here. Food okay Room okay Our.casitahad two rooms. We cannot open the door by the porch though. Hot water for shower -non-existent Service - you have to ask for water for the guests in the room, not immediately available upon check in. Did that on day 1. And day 2. Day 3 was check-out Pool - did not try it because it was cold. Hahaha!

Since we celebrated our ball here twice, I still want to experience attending an event here in Hotel Dominique. Though the room is quite crowded, I like the vintage look and you will feel like it is in other country.

Booking online on this hotel feels like a trap. You will get very disappointed for paying too much because later you will find out that you will stay on a very tiny room. (Less than 3*3 sq.m). Main entrance door is too narrow and the door for cr are beside eqch other which cannot be open at the same time. Very slow internet and almost all the time the wifi is not available. The swimming pool on the photo is deceiving because it is so small. The breakfast is just an ordinary silogs combined with frozen meat products. Hot and cold shower is not functioning. Very dusty room and suffocating. Don’t fall on positive reviews, those are mostly hoax!

Front desk assigned us to 3rd floor room with no elevator! We had our 3 kids with us. Housekeeping staff was the one who requested for transfer bacause he knew ground floor room was available. The room was sooo tiny!!! You cannot walk around your bed. There was a small balcony but you cannot open its doors because the bed was blocking it. You cannot open the bedroom door when the CR door is open because they are so close to each other. Shower is not working properly and bathroom walls are not clean. Bedroom floor under the bed and surfaces are very dusty. You cannot feel comfortable because it feels very suffocating! Front desk charged us with 1000 pesos for extra person because 1 child is 11 yrs old. But when we requested for extra mattress they said room is small and there is no space for the mattress. We still requested the mattress so there was totally no space to walk on the room. The water heater and coffee cups were placed on the bed side tables. Who would boil water on the bed side table??? There was no complimentary coffee and slippers. The extra mattresses were just "kept" outside the adjacent room collecting dust and others. Upon checkin and collecting extra charge for my eldest son front desk assured us we will all have breakfast including the 2 kids 7 and 2 yrs old. But the next morning the new FD staff said there will be only 3. I thought breakfast was buffet style like in other hotels. Complimentary breakfast was a choice of one of their "silogs" - fried rice, egg and 1 viand. Wi-fi was the slowest. Always disconnecting. It's useless. Outside the room you can smell the canal. You do not get what you pay for. We are never coming back to this hotel. Will never recommend this to anyone!

Located along Aguinaldo Hiway several meters away from the Rotunda with fruits/vegetable shops accross it. From the outside, the hotel looks small but once you have entered the driveway on the left side....you will see that there is a lot more inside. However, after passing by the small pool...you need to pass your car on a very narrow roadway bounded by hotel rooms on both sides and another room with its corner just at the neck of the passage which makes it even more difficult to manuever if your vehicle is a big SUV. No wonder we can see broken portions of the wall. We stayed at the casitas which is very near our function room and the restaurant serving our meals. As we entered, the odor of the room was like it hasnt been used for or opened for months. We need to open the door and the veranda to loosen up the odor. Hot water was not that good..... there were rooms that hot water didnt came out at all.....which irritated our co-participants in the seminar. Food was ok. Service crew is ok but too few of them.

My host graciously offered me a room in Hotel Dominique. I was there for a one day event with a Local Government Unit. I got this twin bed room for a night. The room was cozy and comfortable. The comfort room was clean. It was a great time at Hotel Dominique.

Conveniently located along the main highway of Tagaytay, this hotel can boast of a variety of accommodations to suit your needs from the usual hotel room to the casitas that can accommodate a family. Staff are courteous and helpful. Their food is delicious too.

We had a big group workshop at Hotel Dominique on 6-9 March 2018. Although I was not part of the Organizer team, I was close by to still observe and experience a very personal and professional service of this establishment. I knew of HD from some 12 years ago. It's the go to place for events such as workshops and training. The people are very easy to talk to, flexible with the event requirements and very accommodating. The house keeping people are also very quick to respond to requests and efficient to render service. Food served were delicious and "di tinitipid". I just hope that the facilities could be maintained well. Thank you.

The good thing about this hotel is that it's easy to find especially when you are not bringing your own car. The bus from Pasay could actually drop you in front of the hotel. The person assigned on the front desk is also nice. However, the hotel room is really small. In fact, you cannot walk very well inside because it's not really spacious. To put it simply, the ambiance in the room is suffocating. Considering the hotel fee, it costs higher compared to the hotels nearby. Even the shower was not working well. We are really disappointed. :( Breakfast also wasn't good. Size of the pool is deceiving. Definitely not going back here.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday in Hotel Dominique last Dec 22nd. I usually spend a lot of time researching and reading reviews before booking a place and TBH, I wasn’t confident when I booked this place through Agoda since it was pretty clear that the place was a outdated based on the photos. My wife and I were kind of satisfied with the place though but my in-laws felt disappointed since they both would have preferred a modern hotel. Pros (+) - It has a strategic location along the highway. Waze is reliable. - Hotel has ample parking space. Our cabana has its own parking space! - The cabana rooms are spacious enough. Its first floor has two single beds while the loft has a queen-sized bed - There are two LED TVs with cable on each floor - Good customer service from the staff - Pork Ribs/ Chicken BBQ tasted good - Breakfast was satisfactory - Check in/out was fast Cons (-) - Bathroom is really small. We all had a hard time moving inside. - Java rice tasted weird. I’d suggest to order plain rice instead - Pasta Bolognese was a let down. - Pool size is sort of deceiving in photos— it’s really small. It could only prolly fit 6 pax (without swimming activities) - My request for a complimentary present for my wife did not materialize. I did not bother to follow-up since this should be a customary gesture from hotels - Similarly, my request to arrange the beds on the first floor was not granted. - Entertainment area was a joke. Facilities are outdated. Not useable at all. There may be better hotels out there— but this is good enough for an overnight stay.
