Affordable place to stay in Tagaytay located near Robinsons Mall, banks and various restaurants. It's just across Ridge Park and it's very accessible for commuters, if ever that you have your own vehicle, parking is also available. During our stay, we experienced a power outage. There are emergency lights but since there's a power outage, elevators are not accessible at the time so it's quite a hassle if you're staying in a high floor. Overall, we had fun staying here but it's quite disappointing that you can hear the conversations and television program from the next unit. The people staying on the next unit is quite loud but we're the one who got a warning from the security. Like what? It's just the two of us in the balcony, talking normally then suddenly we got warned. I stayed in other condo units, but this is the first unit that I ever stayed wherein I can hear the noise from the next unit.

Tagaytay has a special place in my heart and SMDCs Winds has the perfect spot seeing Taal from my window. I can just sit all day looking at it while enjoying a cup of coffee & the breeze of the wind... a very cold weather. Nice place to revive your energy from a tiring week in Manila.
Come and visit Tagaytay and stay @ the Winds 😊

Incredible view of Taal lake and also an inactive Volcano there. Super apartment. Clean, good air con, small but not too small. Our particular unit had super wifi and good amenities. Security is good and the staff are friendly. Location is fantastic. You can get a tour of the Taal Volcano: the smallest active volcano in the world. You can aslo walk to Sky Ranch, and a number of fantastic restauarants, such as Dako Balay and Bag of Beans. We highly recommend a few daysbin Tagaytay and specifically the Wind Residences.

Line was very long and only one receptionist was on the front desk to register guests
We could also not drop off our senior family members on the drop off area near the front desk because all cars were rerouted to the parking area and had all guests wait for their shuttle. Their shuttle was so small that it can only fit 10 people or less if folks have luggages. We had to walk from the parking to tower 1 with our parents who are all senior
It was a cumbersome process and very inefficient.
We will never going to stay at this place anymore. One bad experience was enough to turn us off

Pictures, reviews and description on booking.com very misleading, very small apartment, not much more than a small room with a partition. Rusty balcony, cockroaches, mould on windows, pay for a cleaner that does not turn up and owner does not respond when contact to ask about this. Kitchenette within no bowls and rusty utensils (tin opener in particular). Open the cupboard under kitchen sink and it smells like a sewer. Booked for 3 adults and 2 children and given 2 towels and had to call owner on 1st night to bring extra blankets for the futon for the 2 sleeping on that. Very basic and nowhere near the 8 rating on booking.com, 6 would be more accurate, it’s got decent location but only good views if you’re at the front. Shower and toilet were about the best thing about the place and they are standard.

We stayed 4 nights here. The location is beautiful. Our room was good for 6 person, kitchen was useful.TV did not work. Although we complained there was no solution. The toilet bowl was leaking, water was rinsing inside bathroom, even run into living room. Although we complained nothing happend. I expected they will offer that we will move to a different room - but they didn´t. When we booked the appartment, they said, wifi is free. When we arrived, they said there is an additional payment. After we complained they opened wifi after one day.

This is the second time we booked here, and the second time problems. We originally booked another apartment but unfortunately the lady owners (Jen) apartment had problems with the air conditioning. However she arranged for us to have another apartment, 2126 in Tower 3. After one hour of arrival we got into the apartment. This is one of the sparse apartment I have ever been in. The only thing going for it is the view which is really fantastic. We were told that it had wi-fi only to discover that the allowance was all used up. Despite our host, Jen trying to have the problem resolved the owner of 2126 could not be bothered 😕 Jen is really nice and very helpful so 100% marks for Jen!!
To THE OWNER OF 2126 👎👎👎👎 they couldn’t care less just money grabbers!!!!

SMDC Wind Residence Tower 1 is a great place for family staycation. My kids enjoyed the cold breeze while they stayed at the balcony. My mother liked the place a lot since we can cook our food with their kitchenette. We will surely go back there before the year ends.

staying here for 2 days are just ok. facilities are not that ok but the unit we stayed are clean. the heater is not working though. we are expecting also that we can cook in the unit but there is no stove. microwave oven, rice cooker and electric kettle are only available. but we survived. the elevator is also an issue. u have to wait for the long line, the other are not functioning. but the amenities ( u have to pay 300 pesos to be able to use the facilities) are ok, especially the indoor pool- which is warm. we enjoy the warm pool and the nice views around the area.I will definitely be coming back here, but not during holy week. The traffic is terrible! pizza hut and 7-11 are available in the area...

We did not had the opportunity to use the pool. That's why i do not have the idea how much they will charge. But one thing I can assure, there is an additional fee for that per head
