The staff was very friendly and helpful. We rented three rooms for three days. All rooms had a very bad musty smell and we saw mold in all of the rooms. We mentioned it to the staff and they provided us with a dehumidifier which didn't help at all. We tried all of the restaurants in Food Alley and all were good. Southern Locale told us a different opening time each time we asked and they were never open at the time they told us. It is in a very convenient location across the street from Starbucks however the smell and the mold was unbearable for us. Will not stay there again and do not recommend it.

We brought Kobe, our cat, when we stayed in Containers by Eco Hotel. With a minimal fee, he also enjoyed the cool December breeze of Tagaytay. The hotel was clean.Towels were white.Toiletries were provided.

the staff are all really friendly but.... -parking really is a problem coz they let the clients of the japanese resto outside occupy parking spaces for the hotel gueasts -we asked and even called for our towels and trash to be taken care of since they can't clean our room. they said yes but upon our return, they weren't attended to -there's free coffee but you need to go out of the hotel to get it - we tried their breakfast at their open dining area on the 2nd floor. the food is ok but the next morning, when we pass by that area. our plates and cups are still there. - the bunk bed's ladder is a little bit slippery and it made me fall down. thankfully, just a little sore on my elbow - the place is a little pricey considering there's really no amenities. i paid around 7thou plus per night but there's nothing to do there. no pool, nothing really to do all in all, we definitely won't return there.

Being a new Fur Dad, its was not as easy to book hotels as it needs to be pet friendly. And im so lucky to have found Containers by Eco Hotel. Perfect location in Tagaytay just across Starbucks along rhe Aguinaldo main road. The place was so cozy and of course environment friendly which was the hotels advocacy. The room is perfect for me and my dog. The staff were all nice and so accomodating! Highly recommended to all pet parents!

We booked our overnight stay at the last minute (since our usual go-to places in Tagaytay were fully booked) and we didn’t regret it. Got the family suite for our family of eight (includes three kids below 10 years) and it was good for all of us. The hotel staff, especially Mike, the manager, and Norman were very kind and accommodating. They briefed us well and gave us lots of tips so we didn’t mind it at all that there was limited service after 10pm. Room and interiors of the hotel are very creatively designed - actually inspired us to recycle wine bottles and cardboard into home decor. Location worked for us too - it’s not along the busy main road of Tagaytay but very near the highway. It gave us a semblance of being hidden away which we liked very much. It’s also right behind Aozora, the popular Jap resto in Tagaytay, so that was a big plus (easy access to great food). We’re quite happy with our serendipitous find and we’d gladly return with more friends and family. Thank you to the team of Containers by Eco Hotels!

Hotel housekeeping removed our belongings and place our food in the trash before 12nn. We have not checked out yet at that time. Manager was "very busy" to talk to us and did not bother to make arrangements. Clearly unprofessional. Just checked out today. Hope your management could compensate such poor and unacceptable service by the hotel staff.

My husband and I were just bored in Manila, saw the Agoda deal and randomly drove to stay here. We knew the rooms were small based on the photos, but we were surprised at the beauty of the place. I really liked how all the recycled and eco-friendly materials came together. The service was also amazing. They even offered to serve the food in our room and it was plated nicely! The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful. This place is definitely worth more than we paid for! We were very satisfied and would come back again.

The establishment is artsy and has a minimalistic approach. An apple of an eye for those who like creative artworks and a hipster kind of environment. We arrived at around 0800 in the morning and the person who checked us in was May. May had given us an early check in with an early charge which was understandable since we had arrived early and they had a room available. She had been attentive and competent with her expertise. For the location wise, the area is nearby to some café and bars, however it’s quite a distance to some major places of interest in Tagaytay. Next to the establishment is a Japanese restaurant which was pretty convenient, also they have their own parking area for a limited number of vehicles. Breakfast is delicious with the native options as your meal. The one who check us out was Jenica. She was amazing and asked us about our stay. It was seamless and quick. Overall, Containers by Eco Hotel in Tagaytay is a great place for those who are looking for an average cost, good location and an amazing place to stay in Tagaytay.

Eva ratz Not senior and infirm friendly. The agoda app family room boking impıied flexible comfiguration but to my consternation it was fixed double deck and double bed. Of course we wpuld not be able to handle double deck bunk befs forcing my young coupır niece to split w their kids there as the receptionidt refused to accommodate my requedt to switch to 2 qurens wch was same vslue as family room. She said we shoulf be the ones to call and request agoda. AGODA TAKE NOTE of this rigid hotel ! The bkfast is at top 4th floor w narrowsteep unsafe steps and no elevator. How disable unfriendıy! Though they delivered bkfast to our room and saying we can eat by the seating area outside. BuT area is teeming wlarge mosquitoes so scary there would be six or so entering the room as you open the door even amidst the citronella fragrance. And the tapa was so TOUGH could barely be chewed ! The blankets only thin cotton in cold Tagaytay how cheap inconvenient and uncomfortable. One of us accidentally spilled aceite de manzanilaa a calming organic oil of camomile and citronella. we were charged for twp sheets p 1000 because their wash protocol could not remove the soil. Of course you need plenty of water and time and not thrir so callef quick wash test - very unfair. Seems like a scam to replace their linens..beware clients you may end up buying their ıinens . Never experienced this befotre as a traveler #all in the pretext of being an eco friendly hotel !

I liked the “Eco Friendly” concept of this hotel; however, the cons totally outweighed the pros. 1. Low quality mattress. Not at par with the mattresses of the rated 3 star hotels in manila. 2. There are tiny cockroaches in our room. 3. Room smells old when we checked in. 4. WIFI was not working. We’ve told the FO that the password for the WIFI was incorrect. She said they will have it checked but to no avail. 5. One of bottles attached to the lighting of the room. Dangerous if you have kids. 6. Very limited parking space for hotel guests. You’ll have to park along the provincial road. 7. If you’re a wine lover. Be prepared to drink you wine in a water goblet and not in a wine glass. 8. Room doors are sliding type of doors, translucent glass doors, which I feel is quite unsafe.
