The catchcry of Anya resort is “welcome home”. It couldn’t be more apt.
We stayed for 3 nights for destination wedding nearby.
As usual there were huge logistics, and last minute tasks. If it hadn’t been for the team at Anya, we wouldn’t have made it.
From hosting our guests without a fuss, to providing makeup rooms for our lovely ladies, to printing our last-minute place cards and guest lists, and even last-minute tailoring, it was just like being at home, and better.
Even the checkout of all of our guests, who all had flights to catch, was energetic and wonderfully efficient.
Shout out to Khimi behind the front desk, and welcoming Gette, who made our stay perfect.

If you want a manicured lawn, sophisticated furnishings and highly curated arrangements, Anya is the best place to go. It's not facing Taal but the lush feeling and superb service would very much compensate. Just visited today Oct 11 to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they were so kind to surprise us with a slice of cake, which tastes really good by the way, with a greeting card handwritten by several of their staff. Too bad we forgot to bring it with us. Hopefully they can keep the card until our return, when it reopens its door for kids as well. It was a good and worthy decision for a couple like us to spend a very quick getaway away from our kids and have some private moment together in a safe haven.
Looking forward to visit again!
You guys make us feel very safe during stay as well. The sanitizer on a glass bottle was well thought of and smells really fragrant.
And oh, the in suite dining is delectable! My hubby is raving about the goat's cheese ravioli.

Dear Valued Guest, Greeting from the serene Anya Resort Tagaytay!! I would like to thank you for your wonderful review and rating, I are very glad to see you had a memorable stay with us, our talented team is very committed with the service level our guest requires. Anya Resort Tagaytay is located in an exclusive and private area surrounded with gardens in a very peaceful enclave. The perfect scenario to hide from the busy cities and to have quality time with the most important person, yourself. For the moment, following the local authorities we still can not welcome guest below 21 and 60 above, but hopefully this measure will be lifted and we will announce in the our social media. Once again, thank you very much and hope to welcome you soon with your kids as well. kind regards, Mikel Arriet

with all the crazy things happening right now... and you wan’t to have a breather or just simply escape the city noise and relax, this place is for you.
this is my second time visiting this place, as usual the warm and kind security greeted us and took our temperature for safety precautions.
While we were parking our vehicle Mr Jasper was already waiting with his buggy car and took us to our villas.Upon entry in our villa, QR codes is provided so we can do self check-in. I felt really safe that they are now doing contactless c/i... Mr Jasper was so accommodating and really helpful. They also provide face mask, hand spray sanitizers for all guests.
Honestly I missed their breakfast buffet, but since we are still going thru this pandemic they serve ala carte/ plated meal which you can choose from American Breakfast to your favorite Filipino breakfast.
It was also nice to see their GM being hands-on in preparing everyones breakfast.
Overall stay was so relaxing and can’t wait to be back again soon.

Anya is above and beyond just 5 star ratings! They make sure guests have a remarkable stay. The guards had our name, a convenient parking slot was prepared, a golf cart was on standby by the parking lot to bring us to the restaurant, and our table has been reserved. Kevin from the Front Desk, called ahead to inform us of all these preparations 15 mins before our arrival time. Very thoughtful! Smooth digital check in while having dinner, key cards were UV sanitized, food was delicious (order mango foie gras balls, and truffle croquettes), rooms were clean and sanitized including remote controls (and I'm a neat freak), toilet was spic and span, and the bed and pillows were heavenly. Thank you Kevin and David. Will definitely be back!

You described in detail and straight to the point, all our efforts when it comes to security, sanitation and at the same time to offer a good experience. Truffle croquetas and Foie with mango bite are as well my personal choices, in Samira Restaurant menu, you have extensive food offer where you can enjoy, bites and tapas with a bottle of wine, or try our testing menu with selected wine paring. I would like to thank you as well to mention Kevin and David, as they are stars on this organization with very personal light. Hope to welcome you soon. Kind regards, Mikel Arriet

This hotel resort has helpful and friendly staff. They ring a gong upon the arrival of guests. Like when royalty is announced in the olden times in some Asian cultures. There is ample and safe parking space for cars. And they can use golf carts to assist you in bringing you and your luggage to your villas. This place greets you with nature. It does not offer a view of Taal volcano, so if you are looking for this, you should look elsewhere.
Our room had air-conditioning, fast internet, cable tv, Bluetooth speaker with alarm clock, iron and ironing board, coffee machine with pods, small ref, safe, complimentary water and drinks, hot and cold shower with bathtub, and usual toiletries. Everything in the mini bar is free (including the Moritz beer). What isn't present is a clothes drying rack for your swimwear and a table if you wanted to use your laptop for work. Outside, you'll find a heated swimming pool, library and an activity area. I wasn't able to check out the other amenities, but I heard there was a gym and a spa. We used a conference room, for our training, and it was just right for our group's size.
In the morning, you'll have breakfast buffet with ample choices. Lunch and dinner options or selections in our course meals (soups, salads, mains and desserts) were hit or miss, but I'd say were very well prepared. Coffee served during our training was barako coffee, and is probably what you'll get in the breakfast buffet.
This place is good for couples or families trying to relax and chill. It's also good for employees undergoing training or conferences. I would not recommend this for business travellers or work from hotel guests, as it feels more like a haven for refocusing and slowing down.

It was our second time here at Anya Resort and the experience just gets better each time! Check-in was a breeze considering we didn’t have a prior reservation upon arrival. The breakfast buffet spread was a feast! I especially loved the bread selection, was actually so tempted to bring some to our room. We were also able to use the fitness center to ourselves—with prior reservation for complete disinfection of venue and equipment. The heated pool is open until 10PM, which is a big plus for guests. Hotel staff were very friendly all throughout our stay, especially David from the Front Desk who even took photos of us in scenic spots of the resort.
Rate is a bit higher than other hotels in Tagaytay but you will definitely get your money’s worth! Sulit!!

I attended a wedding and stayed at Anya Resort Tagaytay for 2 nights. I was promised that they would take care of freezing my breastmilk as I was traveling without my baby.
Each and every time I handed over a bag to the concierge, I incessantly reminded them to make sure they stored and froze my milk properly and they assured me each time that they would.
I was confident they would as Anya is supposedly a luxury boutique resort. Considering I stayed over on Monday and Tuesday nights- both at medium capacity, I felt it would not be a problem.
To my dismay, upon check out, they hand over all my milk unfrozen and unchilled- even incomplete. I was in tears and all they had to say to me was sorry and that I should throw out my milk as they would not be safe for consumption.
Only a mother would understand that it took me blood, sweat and tears to pump, store and sterilize everything each time. They don’t call it liquid gold for nothing.
I want to make it clear that firstly, I tried booking the room with the freezer but was told there were none available. (Screenshot attached)
And that I’m not looking for any form of compensation.
What I have lost was priceless and irreplaceable. I just want to make it known that their once stellar service and attention to detail are things of the past.
Mind you, this is my 4th time staying at Anya. I have stayed here every year since they opened in 2018, with the exception of 2021 as I was pregnant and it was against IATF rules for pregnant guests to check in.
That being said, I can say that I have seen the decline in the service, sadly. No sincere apology whatsoever even when I did tag them on Instagram.
Also posting here feedback from other moms that messaged me about the same issue.
I hope that this is rectified.

Dear Valued Guest, I would like to express my sincere apology on the happening, I know there are no words or explanations that will remedy this feeling towards us, and I assume full responsibility. We definitely have taken actions to avoid to happen again and rectify, since the freezer where the milk was stored got damaged and everything inside was defrost. I hope you can give us another chance to prove that the incident and the way was managed, is not in anyway our way of handling this kind of happenings. I am at your service. kind regards, Mikel Arriet General Manager Anya Resort Tagaytay

Thank you Colin, Kevin and to the whole staff of Anya Resort Tagaytay for accommodating my last minute booking. I called them early in the morning and asked all about the safety protocols and they answered all of our questions that convinced us to stay in Anya - they keep the room 24 hrs for the next guests/, they require a negative antigen test for all the guests checking in, check in and check out are done in the villa, breakfast and all other meals can be delivered to the villa.
We love the room, the food, and the ambience! Colin took good care of us in our entire stay for 3 nights. She made sure to assist us in all of our needs/questions and she is even reachable even after her shift. Thank you Colin!!!
Kudos to the chef and the entire staff too who delivered our food in our villa. We love everything we ordered especially beef tapa which I ate for breakfast for 3 days ;) We also love the Paella and Halo-Halo. Though the food is quite pricey, quality and servings is good! I love the choices of bread too!
Also, thank you to the IT department for addressing our concern about the wifi. They immediately delivered a router after knowing our connection issues. It was fixed right away and both my husband and I were able to work remotely.
To the guards and security who welcomed us with a smile, thank you too!
If given a chance we will be back here for sure! We want to try their badminton and play archery again.
If you are look for a relaxing place to stay offering good food, excellent customer service and privacy to its guests, we recommend Anya. :)
Again thank you to each of the staff of Anya Resort who made our stay comfortable and safe.

We stayed at Anya's last Oct. 30-31 and despite of the last minute booking the Resident Manage Mr. Noli Soldevilla was able to accommodate our booking. The resort requires antigen test to all arriving guests which make the resort a safer place to those who would like to escape the stressful life in the city. Btw, antigen tests are also available upon arrival at a very reasonable price. So, hassle free! When we arrived at the resort the security who was on duty that time, Rowel, greeted us with his full energy. The mom of my boyfriend even said that she felt she was on Showtime. And that energy didn't change when we left. All the staff at Samira are also very accommodating, sadly I was not able to get all of their names, but I think one staff was named Peach or Princess (Sorry! 😅). Their selections of food are superb! We were supposed to go out of the resort for dinner but due to curfew we lacked out of time. We went to Anila and their Bulalo, 5-star. We didn't regret staying for dinner. During breakfast their home-made tapa made our day complete. Wishing they can deliver it here in Manila 😅 All in all. We found a new place that we can call home. Excited to go back again very soon. Thank you Anya! 🙂

Booked this property online via their official website to celebrate our parent’s 50th anniversary and we absolutely had the best time! There were 13 of us, 5 suites. From check-in to check-out, service was impeccable. In fact, from the guard at the entrance and his joyful greeting til we said goodbye to everyone at the lobby, every single employee was genuinely hospitable-we felt like VIPs. The food and experience at their Samira restaurant was unforgettable. The theater kitchen was a surprise bonus. If I could name drop everyone so management could commend every single employee I would. Erica, Eugene, David, John… Our parent’s room had personalized greetings and treats, and over dinner, staff surprised them again with more flowers and cake for their anniversary. If I were to nitpick, the only negative is that bathrooms don’t have exhaust fans and can be scrubbed a little more. But overall, we truly recommend this property and will definitely book again for the next milestone event in the family. The service alone is worth every penny. Well done, Anya! Thanks for a memorable time!
