We booked 3 rooms at Anya Hotel last December. We were unaware of the age restrictions in Tagaytay. I called up to confirm if we can be allowed to enter the premises and they did say that we cannot. I asked them what the options were and they did say the cancelation with refund was going to possible, and we did. It is almost March without any of the refunds reflecting in our credit card.
If you are looking for a quiet, luxurious, romantic getaway in Tagaytay, away from the crowds then THIS is the resort for you. Few people also means safer during this pandemic. It is more expensive but its worth every cent. Its not perfect, there were some minor lapses like bath towels were missing from the bathroom but rectified immediately and coffee we ordered took an hour (they did not charge us for it as a result). Keep in mind the resort is running at half capacity due to the pandemic. The internet was fast and the garden villa wonderful. However the VERY BEST thing in this resort is the food. EVERYTHING is spectacular. I mean - EVERYTHING. Even their bread basket the bread is freshly baked. Pizza, pasta, burger, steak, lamb, breakfast, salads, even the club sandwich is to die for. If you are looking for a safe place to get away during the pandemic - go here. We stayed for three days two nights and it was heavenly. Thank you Anya! We will be back. …
This hotel deserves zero star rating. They were very unprofessional & Everything is about money. We booked 4 rooms for our wedding preparation. When we were preparing for the wedding their staff keep coming and holding our photo & videographer even our coordinators bacause of we had to pay for photoshoot fee. Extra person fee. (That we cant accept why they were charging us since the room is good for 4) They also required us to book their function room because of we cannot let our entourage & suppliers wait at the lobby or inside our room that they dont event inform us ahead of time. So whats the point of paying for the photoshoot fee?? Ended up My family was very disappointed to this hotel. You will regret staying in this hotel they are OVERRATED AND WORST hotel in the WORLD!
My son celebrated his post birthday treat with my husband and friends. The experience was so great and the next time they'd come back would be 2 nights minimum stay at this lovely and beautiful charming resort. They made it a promise to one another to go back and spend more time at Anya. They had so much fun in the outdoor heated pool. Having spent their night in the luxurious bedrooms of the villa were truly amazing. The rooms are so glamorous.
During the booking process not once did they mention that those over 65yrs old were not allowed accommodation. When we arrived, they basically told us to leave and acted like it was our problem not theirs. They waited for us to just leave and did not make any calls or help find us any other accommodation. They were very haughty and made it seem like they will not correct their attitude or service ethic. So much for a luxury resort
