During our stay at Alta D' Tagaytay was so much fun, we enjoy the whole stay because of their accommodating staff, the nice view from the hotel. My friends was so overwhelmed when they got their they didn't expect how beautiful Alta is. Recreational facilities were a highlight of my visit, it was so clean in their area and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. The pool area was pristine and provided a perfect place for relaxation. The staff around the pool was very attentive, They offer towels. I also loved the heated Jacuzzi nearby, which was perfect for unwinding after a long day.
They had a wide range of activities, that we didn't experience like bowling, billiards and ktv etc., since we enjoyed staying at the pool the whole day. But we will make sure we will visit again to experience their activities with a nice view.
Overall, the pool and the hotel view made my stay incredibly enjoyable. Whether you’re looking to relax by the water or get involved in the various activities, Alta has something for everyone. It’s perfect for families, couples, or even solo travelers looking for a blend of relaxation and excitement!
Looking forward to visit again. ❤️

Everything about my stay at Alta D' Tagaytay was enjoyable, thanks to the friendly staff and the lovely hotel view. I was blown away by Alta's beauty and were taken aback. The highlight of my trip was the grand stair; I must say, it was an amazing experience and the place was quite clean. The personnel was friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. They offered a variety of things that we didn't participate in recrational things such as bowling, pool, billiards, and television. However, I’ll make sure to return so I may take in their activities while enjoying a pleasant view. Overall, I had a really pleasant stay and had a beautiful photos which i’ll carry for the rest pf my life. Alta offers something for everyone, whether you want to unwind by the ocean or participate in the many activities. Families, couples, or even lone travelers seeking a mix of leisure and adventure will love it! I'm excited to return. 🤍🤍

Stayed with my wife for 3 days and 2 nights to attend a wedding in the church within Alta D Tagaytay:

Location
- Easily accessible though about 30 minutes away from the popular commercial areas of Tagaytay City.
- Near the other entrance of Crosswinds.
- Awesome views of Taal Lake.

Entrance and parking area
- There are enough parking slots though it gets packed if there are events.
- The road is quite steep. Might be a bit challenging for small and old vehicles.

Room
- Feels and smells old. A lot of wood so it feels damped.
- Our air-conditioning had leaks. We called the front desk and they just addressed it by putting a towel on the floor.
- Wi-fi worked well in the room.
- Toilet has bidet
- The shower area easily accumulated water. The drainage did not work well.
- Hot and cold water were available.
- Mini fridge and kettle. Complimentary drinking water was also available.
- Fresh linen and pillows. The bed was a bit uneven (king sized).

Food
- Breakfast buffet was okay. Nothing special but it was decent. Limited choices. We enjoyed the pancit, chicken vermicelli soup, and ube champorado.
- We ordered room service. Garlic fried chicken. It was okay.
- The food served at the wedding was good.

Staff and service
- Friendly and accommodating staff. They helped us with our luggage and cooler.
- They were strict with the check-in and check-out time. We asked if we could do a late check-out since we were tired from the wedding the previous day but they said that the room has an upcoming guest. This is already a Monday so we doubt that the hotel was fully booked on that day.
- Their service was just a bit slow during check-in and check-out. We requested for shot glasses and it took them almost an hour to bring these to our room.

Amenities
- The chapel is beautiful with views of Taal Lake in the entrance area.
- Indoor heated pool. We didn't try it but our friends did.
- They also have bowling and billiards. We just saw the print ads.
- The Ballroom area is spacious.

We enjoyed our stay, though for its price tag (regular Php8,000/night, discounted Php6,000/night for wedding guests), you really paid only for the beautiful view of Taal Lake. We will not stay here again unless there is an event that will be held here only for convenience.

Terrible experience at Alta D' Tagaytay. We booked rooms for a friend's December wedding but decided to use them in February instead. Rebooking was a total nightmare — they barely replied, and we had to follow up many times just to get a response. It felt like they didn’t care anymore since they already had our down payment.

On check-in day, we arrived around 7 PM and told them that only two out of the three rooms would be used. They insisted we pay for all three rooms no matter what. Fine, we paid — but it felt unfair.

Then they misspelled my surname even though they had my ID. Annoying, but I let it go. I asked for a late check-out, but the staff immediately said no without even checking. How strict can they get?

When we settled in the room, we asked for water and ice to be delivered to our room, it took them 20 minutes to do so.

Breakfast was a disaster. We asked for an extra table setup and got this ridiculous response: "Let me ask first if it's allowed." What?! Instead of waiting for their nonsense, we just found and set up our own table.

The food? Terrible. Bland, slow refills, and when I asked for an omelet, the chef rudely said I just had to wait because there were "too many orders." My food finally came after 30 minutes — and of course, it was wrong. They ran out of fruit, and only butter was available for bread.

Worst part? The servers were too busy attending to their managers, who were happily eating their breakfast, to care about the actual paying guests. I raised my hand for water and was ignored. We had to get the water pitcher ourselves from the bar.

After breakfast, we asked for a late check-out again. The manager looked annoyed and whispered angrily when asked by the staff if they could allow it. They only agreed to one out of three rooms until 1 PM — just one hour extra.

The rooms? Big but dirty. Broken towel handles, stray hairs on the sink, and a dirty rug left by housekeeping. Windows were dirty, and the beds were uncomfortable. The only good thing for this place is the view, but you can get the same view at better hotels in Tagaytay.

We paid Php 5,250 per lake view room. What a waste. Don’t bother — save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its guests.

I checked in here because of a wedding i was invited. Parking is so hard but they have shuttle going to the church back and forth. View of Tagaytay is spectacular. Hotel is clean, staff are very nice and accommodating, facilities okay except for the room we have there is no hot water in the shower - i showered and it was like brain freezing cold around 11pm after the wedding. Room service is up to 10pm only and food in the restaurant is limited for breakfast. You should extend the services like the food because there are so many guests and i bet there are so many people hungry after the party.

The good. The hotel had a nicely done wood cabin feel, ample parking space and the staff are generally warm. The restaurant had an amazing view of Taal lake. The room we got had the usual toiletries, a small ref, air-conditioning, cable TV, heated shower and was clean.

The bad. The restaurant where we had dinner apparently was a Barrio Fiesta, but it was sub par. Was it really a Barrio Fiesta? The food was either average or below average (only the tokwa't baboy passed, since you'd have to be a really bad cook to flunk this), service was below average (maybe they were too tired or weren't properly trained, as opposed to the better equipped hotel staff and guards), and the seating capacity was limited that some of the guests had to wait until others finished during the breakfast buffet. The room we got had slow to non-existent wifi and was poorly lit.

The ugly. We checked in before New Year's eve and apparently they have a party where you needed to pay 1500 pesos each. So they closed down the restaurant after serving dinner, which basically meant that you'd be stuck in your room all throughout the New Year celebration! To enjoy your New Year celebration, you had to join their party. Well, we couldn't.. for one, we were a huge family (more than 20) and not everyone can afford an additional expense.

If you are looking for a hotel with a view, this is a good choice. Unfortunately, other hotels have great views too. The restaurant wasn't ok, and as I mentioned they will close said restaurant before New Year's celebration.. so this left me wondering, wouldn't it have been better if we all just stayed at one of our houses to have a great family bonding time? Why did we check in anyway? There shouldn't be any questions at all.

We stayed here for the wedding prep of my brother. Facilities is just okay, it was quaint and i love their woody themed hotel. Idk but the hotel looks like old but is well maintained. Almost complete with the usual hotel stuff, they’re just missing toothbrush LOL.

I think one opportunity that they have is when we had a slight misunderstanding with the breakfast buffet stubs, i think there was just a miscommunication between the staff. I hope they could be more smooth and efficient on this part, considering that the guests at that time are not a lot, I could’ve understood it more if they are very busy or what not.

other staff are really helpful and accommodating.

Overall, our time spent here is okay.
