Very helpful staff, very relaxing atmosphere and highly tailored detox program. Comfortable room, well designed garden, and beautiful surrounding area. I am born again after 5 nights there HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Our second time at Nurture Wellness and the massage and spa service are still excellent! However, this time we were assigned a garden view room that was quite dilapidated, the bathroom fixtures were loose and very old, room amenities were lacking, and the room exterior looked unkempt. Since we had paid premium rates for peak season, we felt shortchanged given the condition of the room. The revamped restaurant, Farmer's Table (operated by a third party, Raintree) is ridiculously expensive, and the food is bland, tasteless and ordinary. The plated breakfast was so-so. During our stay, we had reserved a table for dinner thru the front desk but our request was ignored by the restaurant and they made us wait for a table instead. Turns out the resto was prioritizing walk-in diners instead of overnight spa guests. Same with the parking situation - it's now very difficult to park as the slots are always filled by the resto's diners. The lobby was always crowded with diners waiting in line and was quite chaotic especially during meal times, which takes away from the ambiance of the place. It was not so relaxing anymore. It would be great if overnight spa guests can be prioritized both in terms of meal reservations and parking - perhaps Nurture can consider allocating a separate parking area for restaurant guests. We really miss the old Nurture which was quite, pleasant and relaxing. The place is now being overwhelmed by Farmer's Table. Given the poor condition of the rooms, we recommend going there now only for the massage and spa services, but book a room somewhere else where you can get your money's worth.…
Massage was great. Worth it. I just hope they upgrade the massage rooms. It’s a bit outdated. But other than that, it’s great. The newly revamped resto serves delectable cuisine. Surely to satisfy both someone who’d like to eat healthy or something comforting. P.S. Bring bug spray.
We joined some friends for lunch mid week and I was really impressed with the ambience of the restaurant; it's very easy going with an open country feel to it. The food is good with some lovely flavours and ample portion sizes. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a return visit soon.
We had the chance to relax after the long pandemic, truly we had a memorable experience here. Very nature friendly and ambiance was great. Good for couples to visit the place. We also tried the massage,I recommend this for they have good therapist. We had pleasant experience and felt all our stress was relieved. Thank you and kudos to NWV!
Romantiko Package Deal! We stayed at the Ifugao Suite with a personal massage area. Included in our package is 1hr 'hilot' massage and 30 min foot massage which was so relaxing. A romantic candlelit, 4-course dinner. The next day, we had our breakfast. They had wellness activities for us like Tai Qi Gong, Heathy Juice, and Coffee Roasting. My boyfriend and I had so much relaxation we wished to stay longer and we were able to talk with Ms. Cathy and she is so nice asking us how are we during our stay. Overall, I can only say good things about Nurture Wellness! We will definitely be going back!
Stayed in an Ifugao Spa Suite. Got the Romantiko package - 4-course lunch and dinner plus breakfast and 1.5-hr massage. The massage? 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Can’t say anything negative about how the therapists took care of me and my partner. Food was good, service was equally good. Would have been better if the total cost was lower since there were a lot of facilities and services still unavailable because of the pandemic.
My husband and I found the perfect opportunity for a getaway during the quarantine period. We both availed of the 'hilot' massage and it was amazing. The 'hilot' - the Palawan rain stone therapy started my journey to relaxation, then the hot but soothing banana leaves on the back was mesmerizing. Even though new normal dictates no massage on head, arms and front of the body, I did not feel shortchanged at all. And my husband who requested for the strong and deep massage was fully-satisfied and is still sore after a day :D. As for dinner, he had turmeric chicken and I the Asian veggie curry which was so fresh. We also had the 'kakaibang' lumpia of mackerel. Everything had fresh herbs! I know that some people who are used to common tourist food will not enjoy Nurture's fare. But we did because it perfectly matched the place - a garden and a sanctuary providing wellness and good health, our main objective for coming over. By the way, do not forget the Basil Ginger tea-the best nerve soothing concoction after the massage and the dinner. We wanted to book for an overnight stay with the spa package but the dates of our travel were full online so I had to book the hotel somewhere else. Apparently, there were internet technicalities and Nurture was not fully-booked then :,( Nevertheless, I still tried my best to find their contact no. so I was able to book for a spa and dinner at late notice. If you are looking for a romantic and unforgettable, serene and healthy getaway, head over to Nurture. We're sure to come back for the full overnight package next time.…
The massage was ok, nothing to rave about. Left me with dark spots and feeling so greasy after. The food - Sorry but honestly, it was really overrated. P1,200 for 2 main dishes and 1 juice. One dish with 1 chicken not even cut close to a quarter size priced at P400 and the other dish 1 tangigue which was sliced soooo thinly priced at P520. Food at high-star hotel price but quality is not at par. The breeze and smell of nature though is something priceless but I hope the garden will be manicured or much, well maintained, esp. the pool - better drain if not to be used than leave it murky. It was a relief that we didn't spend more money to get a room at P6,200. We transferred to Anya instead. Sorry for my blunt statement, but just being truthful.
A long quarantine lockdown brought my girlfriend and myself to this piece of heaven in Tagaytay one Sunday. You must try the dishes at the resto and get a massage! Truly a magnificent experience and a must go for couples! Please check with them first to see if you are able to travel under quarantine rules :)
