Hotel Kimberly in Tagaytay is commended for its clean and spacious rooms, although a few guests mention that the amenities could use an update and that the room fragrance is sometimes overpowering. The hotel's atmosphere, with its inviting decor and peaceful outdoor spaces, has made a positive impression, as has the warm and attentive service provided by the staff. While the family-friendly amenities, such as pools and farm activities, are a hit, some reviewers feel that the hotel's pricing does not fully reflect the value of the stay.

Because of the COVID19 scare our 5nigh cruise trip was cancelled. It was supposed to be our celebration for my daughter's 2md Bday. We then decided to just celebrate it somewhere near metro Manila and turned to Tagaytay hotels instead. Ive been hearing a lot of good feedbacks in Hotel Kimberly but never got to try it until now that I am a mom. I was able to inquire abt the facilities through live chat in their website. It seemed exciting as it is a one stop shop hotel and recreational place having its own horse back riding, farm animal feeding, mini water park, playground, heated/temp regulated pools and the amazing outdoor theatre by the poolside. Plus there's also bonfire and what added to the wow factor was that most of what I mentioned is free and some came with a very very minimal price. So there, I had to book it! I was thinking if these were all true why haven't I ever heard about these things. This place seems so underrated. Also, before anything else, I told sir Roy (RM) that I needed to ask for a small favor - if he could put some Bday decors/greetings in the room as I wanted to surprise my little girl as we enter the room. And he gladly complied. When we got there, just by the lobby I already realized it will be an amazing stay. The facilities were well maintained so unlike the horror I was imagining. The staff were very welcoming as in from the guard, to the FO, room attendant, pool attendant, farm staff everyone seemed like they really love their jobs. It radiates by the way they greet us, so sincere and full of enthusiasm. By the time ge got in the room, the surprise I was promised was so extra! There were Bday balloons, cute greeting banner and a tiki tent setup for my baby girl! So kilig. And the rest of the experience was wow after wow after wow. They even served my daughter some night snack (oreo and milk). The movie night also pushed through despite the rain they did the setup by the hallway near the indoor playground - popcorn was free and unli! Oh my gosh what is not to love about this hotel. Anyway this is way too long. Hope y'all got the pt. If you're booking wth your family or wth kids, or even couples this.is. The.place.to.be!thank you Hotel Kimberly! God bless you with more happy customers like us.

Where to begin? I don't know where to start because our stay was an overwhelmingly pleasant stay. Direct booking was a breeze because they're responsive plus they give P500 credits. We missed the deadline for payment but our booking was still reserved since we chose a weekday to get their half-price weekday rate. I booked a 3 days and 2 nights stay to celebrate my husband's birthday and as a summer outing for my kids as well as soon as classes ended. It was raining during our stay but my kids still enjoyed swimming in their Aqua Slide. As soon as we arrived, my kids explored their obstacle course and playground. We spent mornings feeding and petting the bunnies in their farm. We swam in the afternoons when it was sunny and ordered via grab for dinner since the dishes in The Kitchen is pricey. No corkage as long as you eat in your room. Breakfast buffet was satisfying and the variety was great considering the affordable price (complimentary for 2 adults and free for kids 6 and below. Half-priced for 7 and up). Our kids opted to bike or play in the game room, all of which are free. Then, evenings were spent watching whatever was showing for Movie Night which also included free popcorn. The kids were also given free milk and Oreos at bedtime. If that's not enough, they provide free shuttle ride to nearby spots since their location is quite far from Tagaytay Rotonda. The only thing we missed was the bonfire every night with free marshmallows because it was always raining at night during our stay. Our big thanks to the entire staff of Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay. Everyone, from The Kitchen staff, to the front desk and hotel staff, including the farm staff and even the security guard and the person who drove the shuttle, they were all helpful and accomodating. Customer service was superb. I normally don't like staying in the same place when we are out of town because I want my kids to experience different things but this will be the only exemption. When I asked my kids which hotel in Tagaytay they prefer (we've been to Quest Hotel, Nurture Farm Glamping, The Nest and Airbnb in Cityland), they said they definitely liked our stay in Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay the best.❤️

My family enjoyed our two-night stay at Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay. The staff were very accommodating and sensitive to the needs of their guests (for example, the pool attendant saw me pulling out our deflated floater and offered to inflate it). Aside from the unique amenities — there's a farm where kids can do horse-back riding and animal feeding — the food was good and reasonably price. It was our first stay at this hotel, and while we enjoyed our stay overall, we did notice that the rooms needed some updating; we would appreciate USB charging slots in the rooms as well as a better TV 😊 Also, the walls are not thick enough to insulate from the noise next door, at least in the room where we stayed in.

The only disspointment for this hotel is location. It is located quite far from the attraction. For the foteign tourist like us I should say this is an obstacle. However, the good thing is there are many tricycle around which can bring you to a destination you like. My suggestion is hire a car that will make your travel much easier. But if you are planning to go by bus, this is the direction you will consider: from Manila: go to the pitx terminal station at paranaque and find gate 2, directly get on the bus, ticket will be collected inside. The bus will pass by tagaytay just tell the driver your hotel location and he will help you to drop off the nearest place. From there you can find tricycle going to hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is spacious clean and tidy but bed should be improved, I can feel the spring on my back. To minimize plastic product, the hotel does not provide amenities. The TV program is unbeatable with free netflix program. Breakfast buffet was ok with many variety of local food. Cleanliness of the garden should be taken attentively since there are many pets around and we have to walk carefully to not step on the animal waste.

Dear rahmadimd, Thank you for your review and for staying at Kimberly. I hope you had a wonderful time in the Philippines! I will address the concerns mentioned here one by one: 1. Yes, we are not located on the ridge overlooking the Taal volcano but 2km inland just off the Tagaytay Bypass Road which allows local travelers to avoid the heavy traffic on the ridge during peak periods. Shuttle service that drive guests within the City of Tagaytay is available and if this wasn't mentioned to you during your stay, I really apologize. So while having a car is a definite advantage, we are also able to cater to those who go with local transport and (with prior arrangement) pick them up with the shuttle so one does not need to take a tricycle to the hotel. 2. I'm glad you liked the spacious room and will pass your compliments to our Housekeeping staff. Beds are orthopedic and are firm. We do have mattress toppers for those that prefer more cushioning. Again, this can be requested. 3. Amenities are not automatically provided but are available upon request as indicated by the bathroom sign. 4. I will take up your comments on the farm areas with our staff. They are regularly cleaned but free roaming animals make it impossible to be clean all the time. Thank you for bringing that to our attention so we can see if existing procedures can be improved. I appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in all your travels. Sincerely, Natalie Ng

For some reasons, we always avoid Hotel Kimberly because the web photos look unappealing but we decided to check-in & celebrate vday and we were so surprised & happy with our overall experience!

The place is huge— perfect for couples especially for family. The service & food were exceptional. There’s just a lot of activities that you could do here e.g. farm animal feeding, jog/ exercise outdoor, entertainment area etc. Pools were clean although we were misled as we thought their pools were heated (they say only the kids’ pool is heated)

I wish I could remember the (lady) manager’s name who supervised the Vday Dinner as she was really helpful, professional & unbelievably efficient :)

Downside: Pay Parking. It’s minimal but I find it weird that you have to pay for a usually complimentary inclusion when checking in.

We couldn’t wait to visit again :)

Hotel Kimberly is my go to hotel when in Tagaytay. Good food, nice ambiance and very accommodating staff are the main reasons why we fell inlove with this hotel. The last memory I had with them was way back 2017 while having our prenup photoshoot and now that It's our anniversary we decided to come back and sadly we feel that the management did not make any effort to maintain the establishment. The hotel feels is very old. You can feel it within the common area and even inside the rooms. It is not that clean unlike before :(
Before the Resto is named as K Cafe and the foods were really great! but now change name and I am not sure If change management as well, I must say the taste is not inline with the price :(
I don't know If its because of the pandemic which is understandable but honestly quiet hard to try spend money and try again knowing that the hotel rates are not that cheap either.

But on a positive note they were able to KEEP the hospitality and kindness of their staff which is a good deal!

This hotel is the best hotel in Tagaytay for families with young kids.
There are so many activities throughout the day, like animal feeding, horseback riding, playing in the pool, or toasting marshmallows in the bonfire.
You don't need to go far for your kids to enjoy their vacation.
Their staff are all friendly, helpful, and considerate.
The price point may be a bit higher than other hotels in the area, but this may be because of the amenities available onsite.

Immediately upon entering the hotel grounds, you have a view of their pool for kids with slides which I feel gives you an idea that this place is kid-friendly.

They also have a number or activities even on a weekday. They had the bonfire/roasting marshmallows, and movie night for the kids.

The farm was also a really unique attraction, but I only wish they always had someone in charge of the farm especially during their feeding schedule, as indicated in the schedule at the front desk. We went to the farm for the feeding slot at 4PM, but there was no one available to assist us. Thankfully, the hotel lifeguard, Chito, was there, and was able to assist us as he was unable to find the person manning the farm. It might also be good to have the birds (chicken, turkey, etc.) kept inside their cages outside the feeding schedule, to reduce the amount of droppings on the path.

The rooms are a little dated, but I feel that management made an effort to somehow update the interiors. The Mi Box is super useful too. So many streaming platforms to choose from. The duvet however, was a little thinner than what I would have preferred. Our room's A/C also had some issues. Its vents need to be manually positioned, one by one. As you can see in the photo, one of them is already loose, and will not stay put. Our A/C also formed ice when you increased the thermostat, so we needed to keep watching out for that. Hopefully they can check the A/C units regularly.

Their breakfast buffet had different stations: bread, viands, desserts, and beverages. They even havr an omelette station where omelettes are cooked to your liking.

Overall a great experience at Hotel Kimberly, but I just feel that they can still make improvements in certain areas.

- Hopefully all swimming pools are warm so that the families would be able to enjoy it even at night.
Especially the pool with slides, it would be better for the kids if the water is warmer.
- The black coffee is not reasonable for its cost. It should've been more special with a bigger size of mug (not the same mug as with the complimentary).
A hot fresh milk should also be served automatically or the crews should offer it upon serving the coffee.

Dear Discover16353621622, Thank you for the review and tips. We are looking into your suggestion for the coffee and working on it! Unfortunately we cannot put heaters in all the pools due to cost and energy constraints. We have actually considered various ways to heat but none were feasible. We heat the children's pool for the kids as a consideration to our smaller guests and provide a variety of different activities in the farm and grounds instead. I hope you had an enjoyable stay. We would love to see you return again! Sincerely, Natalie Ng

We booked this hotel for our wedding prep & reception venue. We had 4 rooms booked overnight and we had an amazing stay.
The hotel & it's facilities was spectacular. The breakfast service & the quality of food exceeded my expectation.
Very private hotel, it's conducive for private gatherings. The staff are very polite and courteous. Very professional, they welcomed us warmly with their smiles and greetings specially (front office staff, sales staff, Housekeeping staff, f&b staff) which is a plus point in the hotel industry.
I would like to personally commend Ms. Jherz jimenez dela cruz Sales officer, She is our contact person in the hotel since we inquired until we left the hotel. She was very accomodating, straight forward in a nice and professional way, smart, informative and she knows her product, specially she is attentive. I was impressed and thank you for making us feel at ease during our stay.
On the other hand, this are some of my observation which may help the hotel & staff to improve the service.
Some of the rooms had a maintenance issue, Rm412 the main door is hard to close from outside, creating a noise that can disturb other guest. Rm316 Some tile grouting in bathroom were new but needs to be retouched/cleaned before guest occupies. Rm314 both the sink and the shower drain were clogged (slow draining).
I noticed that SOME of the f&b staff were placing their hands inside their pocket and leaning with one foot up on the wall during the event which is unpleasant to eyes of the guests.
But nevetheless, our experience was superb! I highly recommend this hotel! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family and I will surely
come back for a vacation.
Thank you Hotel Kimberly tagaytay!
