Dears...... My stay at bagan princess hotel is not at all good .. Family Rooms are very lousy and old and not clean at all. I got room 506 first and later shifted to 508... But rooms are very lousy. Staff is not professinal at all.. If u do not complaint they do not care much about you.... Breakfast is very limited..and local food only... After power went off they could not start generator and we were without power at the room for long time... Very bad service ... Actually it is not good for foreigners stay at all..... We had to do early check out finally from this hotel... Totally disappionted.... THIS HOTEL NEEDS FULL REFURBISHMENT AND UPGRADATION !!!! NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED TO STAY AT ALL.... Thanks... Mrinal Mukherjee

Great ubication. Close restaurants. Dirty rooms, when they clean it? Please renovate the towels! Swimming pool water is green and looks dirty. Low and poor wifi. Friendly staff but speak little english. Healthy breakfast but needs so more. A pity beacause Hotel can be much much more better.

Great central location and huge rooms. It was nice to have a space to spread out. The breakfast is very good but there isn't food available any other times of day. Not much English spoken but there are tons of tourist information places around so thats not a big deal.

Hotel location is pretty good. Nyuang U seems the best place in Bagan to stay good facilities. Very few tourist facilities at old Bagan. Our room was on the third level, up a narrow circular staircase, facing the main road. When shown to our room, I pointed to unwashed bed sheets and quilts. The girl changed all the sheets and pillowcases that I indicated were dirty. She then had to fetch bath towels and toilet paper as no towels at all and one inch of toilet paper. Very poor wifi reception in the room and in hotel reception. Breakfast was not nice, the food is cold and doesn't appear to be fresh. Seems to be presented day after day.

We planned a 2 night stay but left after 1 night. The place is absolutely filthy. We got a superior room with a spa tube in it. As soon as we started it grey smelly water came from the tubes and put us off for good. Room itself full of dust. No one speaks English, no even a little. They won´t be able to give you any kind of directions or sort you any kind of transport. And that does not seem a problem. In case you need some more soup for your shower, just head to reception, they will grab for you another half used mini bottle from a bag. Do not get cheated by discounts and nice pictures.

A little over priced but it was great with a pool, so we enjoyed the treat and just went with it, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and spacious and very clean. It was a good place to stay with a family

The pictures do not match the room. The bathroom was filthy. The room noisy, the bed uncomfortable. We were not located in the hotel premises but outside in a house of a secondary road, looked more like a hostal type house than the hotel. The breakfast was local and good. Still enough at 930.

Don't let the other reviews of Bagan Princess turn you away if you are someone looking to travel to Bagan without spending $100's of dollars on a room. Staff are friendly, and breakfast buffet is great. The rooms are, granted a little dingy and it's not really possible to open your windows because of mosquitos, meaning not too much natural light. The staff gave us early checkin after a long bus ride from Yangon which was nice. The location is good, and you can rent e-bikes nearby. The pool was as blue as the sky when we visited, so unsure why other reviews say otherwise. There's good food nearby, Queen the restaurant next door is a good choice. Wifi existed, but as with most places in Myanmar, not very fast.

We paid for awesome room, which we saw on the picture. In fact we've got terrible conditions. We were in Yangon, in Bagan and Mandalay, but only this place was the worst place on our trip. Staff lied to us. We asked about early breakfast, coz we should go by ferry to Mandalay at 5 am. They promised us to prepare some food. But in fact, when we came in the morning, they forgot about it. And didn't give us anything at all. So the whole trip (14 hours) to Mandalay, we didn't eat practically nothing.
