We were in a group of 9 and had 3 rooms. Staff were very helpful, polite and informative, rooms were clean. We only had breakfast which were cooked fresh and we had enjoyed staying there - a lot! We wished we were there few more days longer as we thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

I was at the Kaday Aung Hotel last week and totally loved it. The grounds are beautiful and spacious. The staff is excellent and friendly. The location is perfect. The owner, U Sein Win has done a great job with this property. U literally feel you have gone back in time. And yet the rooms and amenities are all quite modern.

lets start with the good. lots and lots of friendly staff. always smiling always there to help decent breakfast limited choice but decent could use better orange juice tasted like tang reasonably clean exceptional hot water nice looking ground never tried the pool now the bad extremely noisy. first night i was next to the road unbelievable with the motorbikes and buses and honking. not sure if it is just the way it is built or the 12plus foot metal fence tht reverabates sound. If on a lower floor you will hear every footstep from the people above. you hear the staff and the brooms on the brick walkways. at early hours too ( staff should not be singing at early hours either. the hardest beds i have experienced like sleeping on the floor internet well what to say one minute it works then the next it does not and the network you were on is gone and there is another one. you decide…

Rooms are fine- big , but air conditioner isn’t working so good. The bathroom is dirty and the service is ok not more. Breakfast not tasty. The most important thing- the swimming pool really dirty , they don’t clean it and you can not swim in it. The price don’t worth it !

We stayed for two nights in September, the staffs are very warm and nice, the rooms are clean and spacious, the foods are great especially the morning buffet breakfast, which is the best breakfast in Bagan hotels. I will give five star if not for the smelly soup and shampoo in bathroom which is quite bad, but won’t be a problem if you bring your own. Also don’t take a massage in hotel cause their massaging skill is only below average. Overall quite satisfactory in staying at Kaday Aung.

Nice hotel with a pool close to temples. Nothing fancy, value for money. Breakfast was ok. We rented e-bikes to ride around Bagan and the temples. Definitely recommend e-bikes. Our kids are still talking about them. Pretty memorable experience for them.

We were thrilled by the enjoyable stay at the fabulous hotel Kaday Aung. We will never forget the warm comfort we felt there and the hospitality from all of your hotel staff. The food quality we enjoyed at the two dinner you served us will be the events we will talk about for the long time to come. The rooms we stayed reflect the tradition of Myanmar especially Bagan culture and at the same time provided us with the perfect modern day needs. We esteemed very highly of your hotel Kaday Aung. The Myanmar meaning of your hotel's name transcends richness, hospitality and integrity. Thank you for letting us enjoy the excellent comfort stay at Hotel Kaday Aung. All the best from U Hla Myint and family.

We stayed 2 nights and visited the thousands of temples on rented motorbikes. The breakfast was good and we were also treated to a festival dinner. The nearby restaurants were also very good and clean and inexpensive. The rooms were inconsistently prepared - we had both a clean and not so clean room (when we complained)

The location of the hotel was very good and they rented out e-bikes for a good price. The pool was nice for cooling off in the afternoon. Breakfast was plenty and good. The staff was very nice but their english is limited. We were also able to check in early! Our bathroom towels very pretty smelly but they were changed everyday and smelled the same (I don't know if they bleach them), the matteres was old and very dirty but the sheets were clean.

This is more a backpacker not a hotel. Its ok on the outside but very tired and dark on onside. We stayed 2 nights and I was looking for a hotel which had a large pool, free wifi, a restaurant and decent air-con, and Kaday Aung ticked all of those boxes for less than $50 per night. The pool wasn't very good and the room was old and scruffy and didn't feel entirely clean. Maybe we should have paid more and got a better hotel however staff were friendly enough. There were a few good breakfast options, but the one meal we ate at the restaurant outside of breakfast time wasn't very good, so we sampled the local restaurants instead of eating at the hotel.
