Room was nicely laid out, Aircon and white sheets . Rooms were clean , had no view . Breakfast was not great and was cold we had to pay extra for the breakfast . Really not worth it rather make your own . We had off road trailers was a mission to park as they told us they could accommodate us . We had take away pizza from menu’s was great and good value .
The rooms were clean, well laid out and very comfortable. We enjoyed the pizza from the room service menu .... the breakfast was only just “OK” but below par. Staff were friendly and attentive. We will visit again and, excepting for the breakfast, can gladly recommend Mokoro Lodge.
Straight to the point. Need of much improvement. All these can be overcome and corrected cheaply. Cleanliness is key. Improve your wifi strength and coverage. maintain your water system. Change your beds
We spent just a couple of nights in Mokoro lodge and, basically, we got what we paid for. The place is quite basic however it was clean and comfortable and a good value for money. The location is good to use it as a base to explore the Okavango Delta. They also have a restaurant which too is pretty basic, however the food is decent and the service is appropriate. The place is a safe bet if what you need is a simple and cheap accommodation in Maun, but I can't comment in comparison with more expensive accommodation as this was the only one we used in Maun.
Stayed 2 nights and both nights the complex was full of what appeared to be construction industry chaps who partied until the wee hours so a bit noisy despite being away from entrance. That said I would say again, room was good, had a safe and spacious. Bathroom was missing a glass panel so a shower curtain was in place. Food at the bar for lunch was ok and the bar itself is reasonably priced.
Enjoyed during the stay at Mokoro, friendly reception staff who are always available to assist. Rooms are clean and spacious. The place is quite and calm due to the location. Well secured premises once can feel comfortable about their security.
I stayed here while visiting Okavango Delta region. Is is a modern motelstyle complex with big rooms, big beds. There was also a kitchenette and a fridge. The (small) garden has a outdoor pool too. Wifi was fast and reliable.
After a busy day, I found Mokoro to be a comfortable and quite place to relax in. The staff are friendly and professional. The meals are quite good but more options can be put on the menu especially for their buffet dinners.
Mokoro Lodge is a no frills kind of place which is suitable as a place you come to after a day of activities exploring what Maun has to offer. The rooms are functional however the lay out could have been done better. Unfortunately if you are traveling with young children you might struggle as the place has no family rooms or adjoining rooms with a connecting door.
It is such a neat and friendly place. Very relaxing and just in the right location. Its not very far from the town center and this means resources are easily available. The staff there is very friendly. The environment is clean and refreshing. The rooms are neat and hygienically tops.
