We arrived to wonderful friendly staff, and even though we were early our room was ready and they allowed us to check in early. The rooms are spacious with a King size bed, kitchenette in case you want to do self catering, the bathroom is large with a huge rain shower head and a large bath tub, and each room has an air-con. WiFi is fabulous and must be the best in Maun. They have Braai facilities available which is set away from the main sleeping rooms, and outside each room is a table with chairs if you want to sit outside and enjoy the peace. Even though it is close to the main road, you do not have the road sounds when you are in your room, and the little garden in the courtyard is very calming. It is close to a local bar and restaurant, for your convenience.
We had a large room, king bed, large bath with a kitchenette (don't drink the water but bottled water provided). It was clean, with WiFi. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist. It was quite quiet considering the other places we had stayed in in Maun. Conveniently close to town.
After a long and tiring journey from Gweta where we were at Planet Baobab, being greeted by a refreshing shower at Queness Inn was nothing short of amazing! A lovely spacious room with effective air conditioning that caters to all your needs and wants. It boasts a well equipped kitchen. and WiFi is available.
We were travelling with friends en route to Moremi Game Reserve and were booked into the Queness Inn by our travel agent. What luck! Queness is comfortable, clean and the self catering suites are roomy with everything you need in them. The kitchens are well equipped whether you want to barbecue or eat in. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable and there were lots of towels. We had intended to eat out at a restaurant but Tuesday night seems to be the night all the ones we wanted to try were closed. So we used the barbecue facility which was spotless and had good lighting. As we were going camping, our vehicles were full of all our equipment. The parking area is closed off at night, there is electric fencing and a night watchman, so no worries there. Will definitely use Queness again if we are travelling through Maun.…
While on a round road trip from Cape Town and Victoria Falls we had booked and paid for accommodation at the Luxury Wild Inn. Unfortunately the Inn had double-booked our rooms and we were refunded our fee. Fortunately we were accommodated across the road at Queness Inn which was a little more expensive but well worth the money. We occupied three rooms all of which were spacious, clean and really nice. There were no negative reports from my co-travellers and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The service was excellent, decor tastefully thought out. The only thing we could fault the establishment was for the lack of having a swimming pool. As the twmperature was almoct 40 deg C. it would have been the cherry on the top!
We just needed a stopover on the way to Moremi. Whilst a few Kms out of town, which meant we had to drive to a restaurant for supper, the rooms were a very good size and everything worked! The place looks uninspiring as you approach but there is an all night park guard and parking is close to the rooms. Recommended for a single night. If longer I'd look for somewhere closer to town.
I had an unplanned night in Maun at the end of my stay in Northern Botswana, and stayed here as a walk-in customer. It was perfectly OK. For 600 pula, my room was spacious, clean, if a tad old-looking, and with an environment where it's easy to sleep. The WiFi signal was good, as was the bathroom. Though it's by a main road, there was no noise. The rooms are round a pleasant courtyard with greenery and water features. And the staff were helpful and pleasant. It's 10-15 minutes' drive along the A3 road West of the town, and there's secure parking. Not all the rooms are so good. My room, number 8, was very good, though the first one I was shown, number 2, wasn't quite as nice. All in all. good for a night or two, especially at this price.
A nice and new place with 8 apartments in self catering. Kitchen are well equipped, rooms are spacious except if two sleeping sofa are deployed. Two A/C per appartement (one in room and one in the main room). Quite lot of light in the main room during the night, and the sleeping sofa are quite cheap. Team are friendly and helpful. A very good stop in Maun.
We spent one night at Queness Inn on our way from Nxai Pans to Moremi. It is a little bit away from the main part of town and you do need to drive if you want to go shopping or go to a restaurant. The staff were very helpful (even allowed us to use their washing machine). The rooms were big and comfortable, with plenty space for a family of 4, and a well designed kitchen. The only negative is the braai facilities are not conveniently placed and there is no room around the braai to sit . However, for us that wasn't a problem as we ate out in Maun. Queness Inn was really fantastic and I highly recommend it and I would definitely stay there again.
