I enjoyed my stay at Cresta Riley's Maun. The airport pick-up and drop off were timely and comfortable in an air-conditioned minibus with Wi-Fi. The staff at the fron desk were very friendly, accommodating and helpful throughout my stay. From connecting me with a touring agency, to offering advice on shops in the area, to organizing a (very filling) packed lunch for me when I went on the safari to Moremi Game Reserve, the staff at Cresta Riley's were fantastic. I loved my air-conditioned room, and the breakfast buffet was simply splendid. The pool was a little small, but really great to cool off in the heat of Maun. I would certainly stay here again.

Good hotel located at heart of Maun, one of the first and oldest but still maintain its beauty. Clean environment, friendly staff and beautiful view of the Thamalakane river. Its closer to the shopping mall and eateries.

An older hotel in need of some repairs and renovations, eg carpets in rooms, bathroom large but needing to be modernised interior lighting in rooms not adequate and wires taped together in places. But good value, great staff, restaurant quite good but not busy. If in Maun again would think carefully about booking again.

Cresta Rileys hotel is the best, my stay at the hotel was great. I enjoyed the hospitality n the staff were excellent. The staff were so friendly from grounds, restaurant n house keeping. The food was top notch.

Water supply in the rest room especially at the upper floor was not adequate since I had to take more than 20min to fill up the bath also the toilet due to low pressure. Am suggesting you to buy buster pumps

I don't want to sound too negative, because this was really an attractive place to stay and the room was very modern and well-appointed. The meals we had at the restaurant were also very good. But we had a bad first impression that was hard to get over. After a small problem with the free shuttle from the airport, we were shown to our room. We recoiled in horror as we realized there were mosquitoes everywhere in the room. Not just a few- at least 30-40 were visible all around the ceiling and in the bathroom. We immediately asked for a different room but were told there was not another one available, even though the facility seemed almost deserted. The front desk promised to send housekeeping to spray the room. However, this did not happen. We tracked down a housekeeper ourselves and she let us borrow as spray can of DOOM overnight. After a half hour of hunting each and every mosquito we could find with the spray, we went to dinner, thinking we probably missed some, and would need to hunt again. When we returned to the room we were delighted to discover it still seemed mosquito-free. We had no more trouble with them inside the room. The front desk implied that since the room fronted the river, the mosquitoes should be expected. But we would have felt much better if the mosquitoes had been taken care of before we checked in. Note I gave the room 2 stars only for the mosquitoes. Otherwise the room was very clean and nice.…

It was winter season , moderately warm during day time and cold at night and morning hours Therefore during winter season one might need both warm and summer clothes . It is excellently placed closer to the mall within a walking distance. Also there is transport available by the gate to take one to a variety of places. The bus terminal is within a walking distance and the airport is at a reasonable distance reachable through the hotel shuttle. Well placed in a tourist area.

I always stay at Cresta Rileys everytime i am in Maun. The staff is always friendly and willing to facilitate. The hotel is also located in the centre of the town where one can easily walk around and even do some shopping.

we arrived at Cresta on a Sunday evening with no booking as the place we had booked was appalling. The staff at Cresta went out of their way to accommodate us and were extremely helpful. The rooms are lovely and big, food is excellent and staff are very polite and helpful.
