Detailed Reviews
This is a basic hotel with lots of quirks, but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It is a perfect place to stay overnight before or after a flight or safari. We stayed two separate nights in two different rooms. One room had a microwave and fridge and one just had a fridge. One room had a shower with good pressure and one had only a bath. In both rooms only one set of towels was provided which appears to be a strange policy of the hotel. There were some insects like spiders and crickets, but it was easy to throw them out the window. One bathroom had a strange cardboard trapdoor to the attic that kept opening, but it seemed harmless. HVAC worked well and was not noisy.
The hotel is not in a great area, but it did not seem dangerous. It is walking distance from grocery stores and a liquor store. The only near restaurant is a Wimpy burger place, but you can get microwaveable meals from Woolworths (more high end) or SPAR (basic). You can purchase breakfast at the hotel, but you can also get yogurt, granola, etc at the grocery. The hotel has dishes and cutlery in the dining room.
The hotel is fairly close and convenient to the airport. If you have a car, the hotel provides secure parking.
The hotel accepts credit cards now.
Also, we had no problem drinking the tap water. You can also buy bottled water at the SPAR grocery store.

We stayed here for one night after our mobile safari through Chobe. The rooms were clean and modern, and good value for money. We had to stay in Maun a full day because our rental car from Zebra Camper Hire was delivered 10 hours (!) late and the staff were very friendly and helpful to assist us in contacting the rental company.

We stay in here on our way to a safari in Moremi. We didn't expect much from them, since it's clearly a hotel to simple wait. The rooms seem clean and OK. The shower was broken.
Now, the thing that is unforgivable is that we have someone from the staff trying to get into our room several times. The first time it was in the late afternoon/early evening. We forgot to unlock the door, and someone opened it. This all seem like an honest mistake. However, in the early morning, around 5:30 or 6 am, mi wife here someone trying to open the door. This time, it was locked, and she was not sure. However, a minute later, we heard keys trying to open the door. I ask him what he was doing, and he said he was checking in to see if we were there. This obviously made us feel unsafe and we were not able to go back sleep.
Later, we told the other hostess, she was really sympathetic about it, but not much that can do about us feeling like someone was trying to get in our room. We had to leave for our flight, so we didn't make a fuss about it. However, I will never recommend someone to stay there.

We booked a deluxe queen room only to be told there was none available and that there was no difference in price. This was even though the room was smaller, had no microwave, no outdoor area and no bath. Pulled back the sheets to see that the sheets had not been changed from previous travellers.

Neat and clean accommodation. However, if you had any concerns, don't expect much to be done about it. Stayed here for 4 days. Room #3. Every night, all night long there were LOUD sounds of crickets chirping away in the vent to the point where we couldn't sleep. We brought this to the attention of staff here daily and there was not much done (they heard it to). We were told all the rooms are fully booked to relocate (even though we saw cleaning staff clean up emptied rooms daily). Asked to speak to manager several times and was told he was unavailable until out check out day. Asked for partial refund which he refused as, "We are poor, barely surviving and there are too many charges here and there." There was one day of electric shut down but they did give us notice. So much for a more expensive stay.

On our way from Sepupa Okavango Delta we stayed overnight , the staff are very friendly, the room was comfortable, except for only 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel, bring extra towels should you wish to overnight here.
Breakfast was served on time and was nice.
We will definitely stay at this establish again due to the location.
