Breakfast was very basic, don't bother if you want it to fill you up for a hike!
Only good thing bed was comfy.

Negative points:
Tiny rooms. Bed with uncomfortable mattress. Wi fi stutters. Very poor cleaning, especially in the bathroom. Spartan breakfast served from 7.30am, definitely too late for a place where you come exclusively to go hiking in the mountains. Non-existent soundproofing You can hear everything the neighbors do and nothing is done to improve even when very little would be enough: for example, all the doors, without exception, creak in a disturbing way. The first one to get up in the morning wakes everyone up. We were also particularly unlucky in that, having the room on the reception/breakfast room/hall floor, we were delighted for three evenings by the chatter of a small group of rude people who found nothing better than squawking in the hotel to end the evening. Reprimanded, they continued, evidently with the approval of the managers present there.
Embarrassing quality/price ratio even for El Chalten.
I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

After midnight the front door of the place is locked and no staff remains at the place. To open the door and go in you need a magnetic card that you are not given by default, just if you ask for it. Every guest SHOULD be given that card even if a credit card is asked as a warranty in advance. We arrived back after dinner at 0:10 am and could not go in! But the worst part is not that. The guests who remain inside the building could not open the door from inside. The door has a button to open it but it didn't work, so that system which pretends to cover the security of the guests does not cover the minimum safety in case of an emergency. That's absolutely crazy.
The rooms was a bit dated and fairly simple. I stayed in better en-suite double-room in a hostel than this. It's def. not what they have advertised on the website. I assume they have only couple of rooms renovated.
The breakfast was quite basic and consisted mainly from cheese and ham, home-baked cake, juice, some serial and bread. Not great and I was expecting a bit more to be honest.
On a plus side, the staff was super friendly and helpful. They gave us good tips where to go for food, where to do hikes and let us leave our bags while we camped out in the park.
Overall, it was not worth the 120USD for a night we paid for it, even for El Chalten (stayed in mid Dec). We checked the price while staying and they pushed it down to 85USD (they still had free rooms), but even that is expensive for what you get I reckon.
The location is beautiful, the view on Fitz Roy from the dining room is breathtaking.
The rooms were clean but some more space for the clothes would be appreciated.
The breakfast was nothing to write home about, the homemade cake and bread were okay but some real cheese or cold meat would have been a good change especially when you are staying for three nights.
But the really bad thing, for some reason from our group of six, four peple were missing two pieces of outdoor equipment which was taken out of the rooms during our absence.
The room on the main floor had no missing items.
Beware when you stay there, make sure you get one of the two rooms on the main floor.
FYI
We are missing a blue rain coat Marmot, a Tilly hat, a yellow coat Arcteryx, a fleece shirt Schoeffel, soft-shell jacket, etc (overall value 1500 US$)
"Great views from the common area. Rooms are clean and adequate and provide a welcome rest to come back from a hike."Read full review
