Had a great few days at the molesworth arms hotel. Great service from all members of their team in ensure our stay was amazing. Jeremy gave us a great initial tour around. Noise quality was amazing wasnt loud even with our room being above the bar. The room was a great size and was very clean and the bed sheets are extremely soft. Nice location on high street with private parking at the rear. Would definitely recommend. Thanks, Joe and Siân x

We booked this hotel to attend a nearby wedding. What a lucky find for us. The hotel is located in a bustling, pedestrianised high street and ideally situated to visit Port Issac, Padstow and surrounding areas. They have a shuttle which you can book for these and other trips. The room we had was clean and well appointed and the food available is mainly local produce and really well cooked and presented at reasonable prices. There are vegan and vegetarian options and the staff adapted some meals for our friends. Staff were cheerful and very helpful which creates a nice atmosphere in this 16th century coachouse pub. We extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended and we hope to return

We stayed here for one night in September on our way to Cornwall. They didn’t have our details when we arrived but it wasn’t a problem and we did book that morning, so the system may not have updated. We arrived earlier than the 2pm check in so had a drink and a wonder around Wadebridge. Came back and got the keys to our room. We booked via booking.com and paid £100 for a double. The gent who showed us to our room was very clear, concise and pleasant. The room was pretty with everything we needed and some nice touches with bottles of water, mints and biscuits with the coffee tray. Bathroom needs re grouting I’d suggest, but it didn’t ruin our stay. We were in room 8 which was a little noisy as was by the entrance door but again not too much of an issue. We had dinner in the bar that evening. The bar was busy with diners and had a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately after choosing something off the menu I was advised it wasn’t available. However, good selection and there was the option of a specials menu. My partner had steak which he sad was slightly over done but didn’t mind as he was hungry! I had the mushroom linguine with Madeira. I couldn’t taste any Madeira to be honest and gosh it was huge portion! Far too big a plate of food for me but tasty all the same. We had an early night as travelling the next day. Breakfast was great - adequate and tasty. Full English for him and I had the poached eggs and bacon. The team here were great. One or two seem to do long shifts but we’re always pleasant and friendly. We spoke with Clare (?) a lot and she was just lovely. Overall the service here was excellent and the team are a credit to the owner. We would stay again.

Found this on booking.com. Wanted somewhere between Truro and Bude. As a female rep I like to ensure I check into places where I can ‘feel safe’. Had difficulty finding the car park but Sam was so helpful. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, so busy for a Wednesday night. Grill night. Steak was fabulous and service excellent. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

We had an excellent lunch here. The place was rammed but the staff worked so hard to look after everyone, we were super impressed. The moules frite were excellently cooked and the wine/cream sauce was delicious. Our serving staff, Ashley, Claire and Jeremy were a delight even under such pressure. Thanks for a terrific experience.

On holiday. We were seated, and heated, semi outdoors at a last minute request for 4 adults and 2 children. The menu is varied and delightful. The children had their own menu to colour in. The staff attended to numerous special requests adding regretfully that there were no sprinkles to our 4yr old's enquiry. In fact, Jeremy and Jade were both charming and considerate, plus a guy on door duty. No request too small, no matter age of the asker... and we include a 74yr old in that. Thanks v much.

Went for evening meal and food/ service were excellent. All the staff were fantastic especially Sam. This is a venue for a special dinner. For starters we had king prawns and pitta/humus for sharing. Mains were 1/2 lobster ( amazing ) + rack of ribs + burger meal. Puddings were lemon meringue and profiteroles.

Booked direct, good reviews! Hummmmmmmm room smelt damp bath the tiniest thing I have ever seen and was chipped. Rooms under neath when they smoke you get the smell upstairs in your room if the windows open and needed window open as the smell second it was warm. Other residents don’t seem to have consideration for other guests when returning back to the rooms late at night( just let the doors slam) The pub and accommodation Is very dated however could be a lot better if it had a de cluttered of some of the tat! Very noisy in the morning with deliveries and doors slamming and the is a lock up at the rear that they seem to use daily the roller shutter door that seems to be opened at 7am why people are on vacation!!! The staff are very attentive and the food is very good however when we checked in was told Sunday dinner is only served till 5pm however all other food would be available. so we cut our day short to get back for Sunday dinner, to be sat afterwards having a drink to the same person who checked us in offer Sunday lunch to other guests gone 6pm 😡 Not much to do in the area all shops seem to close early nothing much open on a Sunday. I wouldn’t stay in this area again.

Hi, A few points to respond to here. As you are on the 2nd floor there is a room below which have a patio but this is well sheltered and im very surprised you can still smell any smoke. Sorry to hear other guests were noisy, we do have signage and ask them to be quiet but in August we do have guests returning from various places, i will re check the slow closer on the main door although seems to be working fine. It is a 16th century coaching house so it is dated in some ways but we like the character and the old meets new look, Not quite sure what "tat" you refer to as we have a minimal smart clean look. We normally serve and prepare for 80 or so Sunday roasts. These can be sold out by 2.30 pm or go nearly all the way through dinner, normally depending on the weather, for this reason we advise guests who ask that they may sell out as its better to know than to be disappointed. I thing generally people find plenty to do in the area with the camel trail, golf courses and beautiful beaches nearby to name a few, unfortunately some of the shops do close on Sundays.
