Would definitely recommend taking the trip to Ardmore glamping. It was our first time glamping and it was definitely a memorable experience. The pods have everything you want (aside from a tv, but I feel that would take from the experience).

The only downfalls I could give to our stay was, the eircode used on the website, brought us to a cul de sac road, where as, you actually need to go to the Ardmore mini farm and zoo to park up and get in to the glamping pods and check in.

The only other down point we felt was that you’d to pay an extra €18 for a bbq to cook your food. We thought that either the cost should be added on to the night rate, so that you don’t feel you’re paying extra for the nights stay, or dramatically decrease the price, because it was fairly expensive to be honest. You also have to pay extra for the use of showers (€1 = 7 mins), and have to share with another glamping pod, which is an additional cost you’ll have to factor in, especially if you are going as a family.

All in all, we it was a fantastic stay and very clean. Would go again.

The five of us stayed in the larger 7 bed pods for two nights. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Very friendly staff and lovely relaxed feeling. The spread out playgrounds and small football field are great - a lovely location to sit taking in the sea view while still being able to keep an eye on the kids. For families with more than two kids the larger pods are ideal. The mini zoo was another great surprise. It was larger and had more animals than we had expected and being able (for a single entry fee per person) to access it for the length of our stay was a big bonus. I would highly recommend these pods for a short stay in the Ardmore area.

Amazing location overlooking the sea.Short drive to 2 beaches, whiting bay and Ardmore beach.
There are 2 small play areas and goalposts for children outside the pods.
Hostess was so friendly and welcoming upon arrival,we booked a larger pod which was perfect for 2 adults a teenager and 6year old.
Beds were super comfy so no complaints from anyone there.
Fridge, cups, kettle and toaster and en-suite bathroom,tv and sofa.
The mini zoo is an added highlight to the stay, there was an abundance of animals and guests pay €12 each at a reduced rate instead of €14 with unlimited entry for your stay.
The zoo has too many amenities to mention and we spent the afternoon on arrival taking it all in.
A brilliant night away with tears leaving in the car on the way home, the 6 year old didn’t want to come home.
Will definitely be returning and recommending to anyone for a fun night away

Received a warm welcome and nice check in. Pod was immaculate. View was spectacular, although the site is much further from the beach than we had understood it to be (really not within walking distance).
The open farm and mini zoo is definitely worth a wander around, and it wasn't mentioned to us at check-in, but once you pay for your discounted entry, you can access it for your whole stay.
There seemed to be all the necessary cooking facilities in the common area, but some were difficult to figure out and there's nobody on site in the evenings to ask for help.
For the price of the stay, it's a little outrageous to have to pay to rent a bbq, and disposable ones are prohibited. Most outrageous though, is having to pay for a shower, and worse again when the showers take your money and fail to work. Again, there needs to be someone on site when issues like this arise. (We were refunded the money without any kind of dispute on checkout)
There were lots of families around and the site seemed very safe (and quiet considering). Can see how it would suit lots of people, but not us.

Stayed for 3 nights with a 2 and 8 year old. The pods are secure in a contained area with 2 play grounds. They pods and communal area were exceptionally clean. Fantastic picnic tables and BBQ areas. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they were just brilliant. I really cannot find fault and will be most definitely going back. The petting farm and mini zoo on site is also of a similar high standard.
Local beaches are really nice and we also spun up and did part of the Waterford Greenway. Only 10 mins from Youghal for Tesco, ALDI and Lidl. This site really has it all.

We stayed in the Ardmore glamping pods fpr one night and what a great experience. Weather was beautiful and the views from pod number 6 "Sea Pod" couldnt have been better. A great relaxing and mindful moment waking up and seeing the beautiful countryside and the sea at the back.
The pods are so well equipped, so clean and you have everything you need for your stay. Bridget made our stay fantastic and everything was so easy and relaxed. Cant wait to go back again!

Just returned from a brilliant weekend in the 7 bed glamping pod. The place and staff were fantastic . Having a toilet, shower, fridge, kettle and toaster in the pod was great. It was very handy having a deck table and chairs at the front of the pod. The pod did get very hot but we were there on an exceptionally hot weekend. The whole area was very secure. Two lovely little swing sets beside the pods. Would really recommend this place to families.

We stayed for just one night to give it a try. We were totally smitten with the gorgeous surroundings. We took a 7 bed for 5 of us, the bit of extra space was well worth having. The pod was spotlessly clean and warm. Bridget was a fantastic host and nothing was any trouble. Will definitely stay again.

Just spent a fantastic weekend at this facility. Where to start? The location is stunning with a panoramic view over the bay (and as the pods face seaward, what a great way to start the day!) The pods are warm, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with ample storage, en-suite WC, a fridge and plenty of seating and power points. We were a couple but you'd accommodate four adults easily and certainly a family.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and special mention should be made of the owner, Bridget, who treated us like old friends and couldn't have made us feel more welcome.
The adjoining open farm and mini zoo are worth the trip in their own right and have an excellent interactive area where you can get up close and personal with rabbits and birds. If you have small children there is no end of things for them to do on the site and, given the 'unpredictable' nature of Irish weather, there's a fantastic restaurant, jungle gym and ball-pit indoors as well as the petting zoo that will keep the kids occupied and dry!
Ardmore itself is a delight with an amazing cliff walk and a beautiful beach as well as plenty of eating establishments and friendly pubs. It's probably not a good idea to try walking to or from the village: the road is very curving and there isn't much of a verge to walk on. However, there's a local shuttle bus service that will get you there or even to nearby Dungarvan and also a local taxi service that is reliable, friendly and very reasonable.
Can't recommend the place highly enough. We will surely be back.
