Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We would have easily given 5/5 but breakfast left something to be desired? At least they did offer boiled eggs, but the ‘omlet’ tasted overdone and rubbery? In all fairness though, the lady prepairiing it all said she was late and had no help, like everyone these days. She was courteous, polite and helpful. They did have waffles if that tickles your fancy as well as bagels, oatmeal, honey, cream cheese and yogurt. And some sausage links and patties. Overall not bad for free. The hotel was clean, appearance updated and the rooms were great as well as shampoo/conditioneer and lotions. We did stay on the back side opposite from the highway which no doubt was quieter. Overall, a great deal for the price and if traveling through this area, would definitely give it a thumbs up. Easy access just off the highway also AND the restaurant just next door was fantastic.

The Holiday Inn Express is our go-to hotel when staying in Fayetteville for Razorback football and basketball games and other U of A activities. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff at the front desk and the breakfast area are friendly. The breakfast selection is usually good. The only drawback lately has been road construction off Wedington Road and the frontage road from I-49. But that construction should hopefully be completed before the next football season.

Hotel appearance is good. Bed was excellent. Room needed some maintenance. Window shade was torn and off runner. TV reception was spotty. Personnel were receptive to this information. It's a shame routine maintenance is not current. Otherwise would be an excellent hotel for the price.

Urine smell in room amd hallway was gross. Old and broken lamps, bathroom was rusty and broken parts. So out of date. Worst ihg hotel I have stayed at. Buyer beware. This is amd 1 star at best. Old blinds, old tv. Just gross. The only good part was I could check out without touching anything.

If you would like to feel like you are staying in a third world country on a mission trip, this is the place! Let me clarify and say that I have never wrote such a negative review on a place. We stayed for a wedding. The bride and groom booked the hotel and half of the wedding party and family left after they checked in and paid because it was so filthy. They didn’t complain but made some excuse as not to hurt the bride’s feelings. They literally drove 4.5 hours to change in the hotel and say “nope.”
The blackout curtains in the room looked like a hungry tiger had stayed in there. There was so much black grime in between the corners of tub and around tiles it looked like an engine had been overhauled in the tub. The middle drawer was broken and fell out of the dresser on my dress when I tried to pull it out. That’s not half of it.
The electricity went off from 6 am to 9 am due to construction. The hotel did warn us 8 hours in advance. I understand things happen out of the hotel’s hands, but there were no apologies or discounts applied despite having no AC, elevator, or breakfast.
There is a big notice on the elevator warning the elevator doors may open and shut due to sensor issues but was cleared by inspection to be operable. If you are currently traveling with a disabled person in wheelchair or any medical device that needs charging, beware. One guest had to change hotels because they couldn’t run their CPAP machine.
This place needs the attention of cooperate Holiday Inn. They need some funding, revamping, and maybe that guy from Hotel Impossible.

Thank you for your review of our hotel. So much to address, so we will do our best in this situation. We fully acknowledge that our building is due for a renovation. We had one scheduled for 2020, but when the world shut down we had to make sacrifices to keep the business open. When the world stops traveling for two years, the impact on hotel cannot be measured in a survey response. Our black out curtains have been handled very rough by travelers these past two years. Replacements have been ordered but the national supply chain issues and manufacturing issues are still holding us back from fully recovering from the monumental harm caused by the pandemic. I truly wish someone with your group had contacted our management team so we could better assist you while you were still on property. As for the power outage on the morning of Sunday, the 1st of May, we had no control over that situation. The Arkansas Department of Transportation and the Arkansas State Police shut down the entire business district, including Interstate 49. Every hotel, restaurant, gas station, and shopping center in that area of Fayetteville were left without power for hours. We were not notified of this situation until the afternoon of Friday, April 29th. We deeply regret that the decision of the State to shut down this area of town during a sold out weekend. Every business operator in that area was left with no way to operate their businesses. Our corporate team spent the entire day calling the city offices, including the Mayor, trying to get this rescheduled. The state made it very clear that they did not care about the negative impact on businesses or the guests in our full and sold out hotels. This is an unprecedented situation. In 10 years of hotel management I have never seen the state government shut down a business district during the day time. Traditionally when power line projects like this are being done, it is done overnight. The state chose to save themselves a few buck by not renting or buying flood lights as is a standard practice in the other 49 states. They chose to ruin the stay of our valued guests and leave us looking like the bad guys. Again, we regret this situation. I hope your next hotel experience is not affected by the callous decision making of the state or local government. If you would like to discuss this further please contact the General Manager for the hotel.

The furniture is all scratched up. Plugs won't hold the charger, it just falls out. The shower is disgusting. On the booking website there was supposed to be a breakfast buffet, but they are still doing the Covid breakfast in a bag. The shower is disgusting with mold, mildew, peeling paint, what looks like bloody fingerprints, and this is the executive business suite! Shower doesn't drain well either. I do not recommend this hotel. The only ice machine is on the first floor.

We stayed here for our daughters sorority bid day. We were one of many parents at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming to everyone in the hotel. Jose and Hannah did a great helping us solve a booking problem and met us each day at the front desk with smile. It's clean, has a very good breakfast and overall we had a very good experience. We will be back here in the future. Highly recommended

On the outskirts of town but an easy drive to the university. The free breakfast was as usual with the HIE... Nice workout room... Good value... Clean, friendly... What more could you want. Visit the Catfish Hole up the road for good old southern style fixins for lunch or dinner.

This is the first hotel we've found that has rooms with two king beds. It is perfect for families with older kids. The room also included a separate kitchen area with cabinets, microwave, and refrigerator. Beds were very comfortable and room was very clean. Very convenient to UofA. Would definitely recommend!
