We are having a great stay at this guesthouse! We had some trouble with noisy neighbours, but we could change the room immediately and the owners surprised us with a bottle of wine and chocolats the morning after! The lady of the house is very friendly, the room is clean and cosy and the location is perfect for making trips in the region. There is a lot of parking space in front of the guesthouse and the whole place has a very nice atmosphere. Breakfast is also very good, with warm wafels and good coffee! Definitely a very nice place to stay while traveling through this part of Iceland!

Our beds were comfy. Pillows soft but needed a bit more filling. Nice hot rain shower. Hot water pot in room. Really filling breakfast with eggs, waffles, toast, Skyr. Best we had in Iceland. Good espresso. Our room looked nothing like the pics on website ( white walls and lovely light blue bedding) Our room was a twin bed room. But it was dark and small. We did have our own bath which was great.

Really lovely and stylish little guesthouse, very comfortable bed, soft blankets and pillows. We got private bathroom in spite we didn't expect it. The breakfast was excellent: toasts, omelette, cheese, homemade waffles, jam, skyr, maple syrup, orange juice and tea... Very friendly hosts. They left detailed instructions for our check-in in the evening. The house is 500m from the Fontana spa - great and relaxing experience.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were the best we had in Iceland. We had to get out early one morning. Joel, owner, was very accommodating, opening the restaurant a half hour early for us. The food was fresh, even the hard-cooked eggs. The service was great, and Joel even played his special Johnny Cash music for us. HIGHLY recommend.

Recently stayed at this hotel as I travelled around Iceland/ This was a lovely little hotel and just what you need after a long day exploring. The owners made sure everything was ok and felt alot more personal than a big chain hotel.

This was an incredible find for us! The check-in process was easy and fast. Our room was clean, well-furnished, and had a beautiful view of the mountain. If we ever came this way again we would DEFINITELY stay here again. Highly recommend!!

All very good and friendly owners. Good location to various attractions like Geysir & Gullfoss. Room was cozy & clean. At the breakfast the had fresh blueberries and waffles, also the had a very good coffee.

Small guest house, very cute. Room had a large bed and pretty linens as well as a small refrigerator and private bathroom. Owner was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast at the cafe the next morning. Highly recommend.

This was such a quaint guest house! The rooms were so well decorated and the bed so comfy (probably the comfiest of our whole trip)! The bathroom, shared, is large and modern. The hosts were lovely, and changed our room to the one that looks towards the north in the hopes that we could catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, and we did! They also provided a to-go breakfast for a fee, which was much appreciated so we could get on the move as early as possible in the morning. I would highly recommend staying at Galleri Laugarvatn!

This is a small bed and breakfast with 3 rooms with a shared bathroom. It’s clean and high have a high standard. Here the location is everything. It’s close to Bruarfoss, Geysir and Gullfoss. We highly reccomend the dairy farmer down the street, Efstidalur II!
