Wonderful hot springs in the nature. The road was under construction so we had to wait one hour but it was worth the ride. Arrived at 5 pm, the pool was almost ours. Water is not super hot. There is locker for rent. Great place...More

The restaurant located here is of an aggressively average level, but does provide a hot meal. The main pools are often crowded and sort of gross; highly recommend the one before the entrance or any of the secret pools for a more relaxed and enjoyable...More

This place is absolutely gorgeous. You can hire a tour from Xela, or you can take any chicken bus to Zunil and every person in town will offer you a ride to the springs. I wish we had booked a night in the cabins on-site....More

Water really wasn't that hot nor clear. The surrounding area was beautiful but so are numerous other places in Guatemala that don't cost 8 dollars per person. In used to Central America. I've been here for a year so it's not a case of applying...More

The town is surrounded by mountains but is great. We visited with the intent to see the fabric market; which by the way is where most of Guatemala's textiles come from. We missed it because of Santa Semana which was bloody marvelous.

Visit Quetzaltenango and the Fuentes Georginas Hot Springs. Travel on the highest point of the highway at 10,000 feet above sea level. This area is rich with geothermal vents, and most of the electricity is ...More generated with geothermal energy. You will appreciate the hot springs of Fuentes Georginas. A series of outdoor pools offer a variety of temperatures from warm to super hot. Let you stress melt away as the therapeutic waters relax and rejuvenate you. Enjoy an optional lunch (not included) at the resort restaurant. Less

Hello. The roads and the park close about dark, which is 5-6, but the pools are available all night, if you like. I think they may turn off the outdoor lights at about 10, but you could use a flashlight and continue to use... More
