We make it easy for you. You'll get picked up by our driver and delivered to paradise, where all (healthy and plentiful) meals are included. Free wifi is also included, but Indonesia isn't known for it's internet. Non-surfers and families will find plenty of action and entertainment, in the way of waterfalls and markets. If you fancy some fitness on your holiday, Amy is a certified Pilates instructor from USA. Chill by the fresh water pool. Get a massage while you listen to waves roll in. What sets Amy's Place apart from the other surf hotels in the area, is the massive garden and limit of 10 guests. This gives you the space to relax, and allows us to keep the standard of the food and accommodation much higher than if we catered to more people. You'll have an epic time, surfing empty waves, eating good food, and getting to know the local culture which hasn't been overtaken by tourism. Highly recommended. Communication with Amy beforehand was simple and she was happy to answer any questions and provide information. The location is great, just a few hundred metres from the Peak and 5 minutes' scooter to Krui Left. The grounds are huge with plenty of space and the rooms are simple, large, clean and comfortable. We had a mixed crew, ranging from 9 years to 73(!) with both surfers and non-surfers and everyone enjoyed themselves. The resort is quite small so a group of 8 or so could book the whole thing to themselves, or it's great to meet people round the communal evening meal, where Amy is a great host. I can't recommend Amy's more highly. Incredible location, great surf, clean rooms, and great food. So many surf options in the area, and a really helpful staff. If you find yourself near Krui, definitely look into a stay at Amy's.

My boy friend and i stayed at Amy's Place for two fun filled weeks. This has undoubtedly been the best place to stay in the area. Amy's Sumatra is located right on the beach front with the waves crashing the shore line day and night. She has a large property with open plan space for any exercise regimes, (scooter ride practice sessions for newbies like me), surf board preparations or quite lazy days in the best hammocks i've ever laid in. As a non surfer, here on holiday with my partner, i've been entertained every day. There's a great local waterfall to visit, at least 10 beaches to enjoy within in 5 mins to an hour to visit (an even one directly out front the camp). They have scooters for rental which are really well maintained and the area is quite to practice back and forth…

We stayed at Amy's Place in Krui, Sumatra for 8 days. We were looked after the whole time, from being picked up from the airport, shown around the area to all the great surf spots, taken on a boat to bannana island, visiting the waterfall in the jungle and looked after when we had reef cuts from some gnarly barrels. We had an amazing time thanks to Amy. Krui, Sumatra is definitely worth a visit and Amys Place is the perfect spot to stay.

Had an epic time at Amy's. My room was everything I needed and more, comfy bed to rest up after long surf sessions and incredible huge portions of food (got vegetarian food which was amazing) prepared by the amazing local staff. Everything is neat and tidy, the pool was cool and clean always and the scooter i rented was quick, efficient and reliable. There is a very good wave right infront of the accommodation with the coast line scattered with A-frames, point breaks barrels and bintangs in either direction. What a treat of a trip! Thanks Amy and Storm (the legend, who knows Krui as well as he knows the inside of the pits it has to offer) and thanks to the lovely dudes and ladies that made sure we had everything we needed/wanted at any stage of our stay! Champions all round!
