The spa, hotel rooms and restaurant are awesome. The staff is so accommodating and genuinely kind and thoughtful. From the front desk, spa and the restaurant staff all were fantastic. The food was delicious!
The Wilde Resort & Spa is truly wonderful. There are fire pits and fire tables throughout and a lovely rooftop patio with amazing views. We were greeted warmly and were filled in on how to best enjoy the hotel’s amenities. It was chilly when we visited, and it was truly amazing to walk in to our gorgeous room and be met with a flickering, warm fireplace. The restaurant, Rascal, serves delicious food with friendly and professional service. I cannot say enough things about this resort and the stunning, spectacular Sedona.
My fiance and I were extremely satisfied with our stay at the Wilde. The location was convenient for food as well as some popular hiking trails close by, and only a short drive to our other main points of interest - Uptown, other trails, etc. Staff were extremely friendly and both check-in and check-out were seamless!
Easy resort to get to, but its location right off 89A makes your stay there less than calming. Constant traffic and highway noises when outside and the views from within the resort are more of surrounding strip malls and businesses than mountains. Sedona is expensive, this resort is average but charges premium rates, so research and book as early as you can to get what you want if a more natural setting is what you are looking for.
The Wilde is the perfect place to stay if you don’t want to be in Uptown where it’s super touristy. The people are so friendly and it’s a super fun environment with a pool and multiple hot tubs. Great for couples or families. We’ve stayed here twice now and can’t recommend it enough.
This is not a 4/5 Star property. This is a motel in need of care. When you are going to a resort and spa, you have certain expectations. 1. Employees who are ready to serve - we asked the front desk to set up car service the morning of our departure. They brought out a plastic container full of cards and told us to call some local businesses for support. At any hotel chain, they would set this service up for you. It was raining and we asked for umbrellas. She said we are out and it is first come first served. Another employee said… “you know what… let me check the back”. Came back less than a minute later with 20 more. So instead of saying no, try to help your guests. 2. The sleeping rooms - much like a motel with the outside door facing a parking lot, the rooms are well equipped, but not luxurious at all. Tile floor and no floor mat our first night. This was fixed the next day. The vents are dirty and need dusted (something I always look at). The rooms are NOT soundproof. The folks above us played their TV too loud and walked with heavy feet - making every morning unbearable. The towels in the room are thin and not luxurious at all - something else you would want to see at a resort and spa. 3. The Spa - when you think of resort and spa, you think that you will be getting top of the line equipment. The small gym had one elliptical and two treadmills and one bike. I expected more. The hotel has potential and is laid out nicely, but you can clearly see this is an independent hotel and one that can upgrade itself on the luxury side.…
My friends and I had the best time at the Wilde. We stayed for 3 nights for a girls trip and loved using the spa and amenities. We grabbed drinks at the on site restaurant which was also very good. Location is central and a good jumping off spot for sightseeing.
All five of us loved staying at the Wilde. The property's a great combination of indoors and outdoors, so we could hang out together in one of our rooms or in any of communal spaces -- hot tubs, fire pits, hammocks, labyrinth, pools, and games rooms. Plus, the staff were so helpful and welcoming. We'd definitely stay again.
We stayed at the Wilde for a few days mainly to decompress and utilize the spa. The spa is amazing and I highly recommend the Rising Phoenix service with Lisa who was great. The room was clean and staff are friendly, just confirm if you really want a Red Rocks view room (and pay extra for it) because our room on the bottom floor didn't really give us the view we expected.
We highly recommend The Wilde -- beautiful room, luxurious pool/spa and welcoming helpful staff. The pool and hot tub are a lovely calm oasis. Thoughtful design details throughout the hotel and grounds. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Sedona!
