Detailed Reviews
We stayed here after a wedding, with a large group of people.
My main issue with the "Resort", is the fact that it calls itself a resort. The rooms are extremely basic. With no cleaning service. Our "room" had two bedrooms along with a communal living room and bath room. All of it very basic on our room was never cleaned during our 4 night stay.
Apart from the beach there was not much to do here, so don't expect to be kept entertained. Whist there are sights to see in the area, around a 2 hours drive away, lake mountains hot/cold springs etc. due to the location of the resort and it being extremely remote.
The rooms were approx £30 per room per night, this included breakfast. You could have got a 4* hotel with breakfast for 4 nights in Sorogson for £84.00 (£21), which is more centrally located.
Food/Drink: A single small dinning area with a fridge of cold drinks and beers. The food was not too bad, however the breakfast every morning was stone cold as pre cooked... not sure if this is just a cultural thing?
Overall, unless you really need to be in this area I would not recommend this hotel, as its expensive and not in the best of areas.

We went there last April and for the 3rd time, we received a great service from their staff. Lacsa is near the Rizal beach and you can spend a very good morning looking on to the sea horizon. Its peaceful and accessible thru their local tricycle or jeep. Facilities are clean and I really feel like home. Yes, there could be some electrical connection problems but I believe its due to the weak supply of SORECO. Maybe they need to check with electricians on their nearby towns so they could use some breakers or other solution possible. Other than that, I believe Lacsa is the best choice when you choose to stay by Rizal Beach in Sorsogon.

This is one of the hidden places that once experienced it will never be forgotten. Great staff and property the all-inclusive packages are the way to go. Amazing food and the scenery never quits, while allowing for boats, jet-skiing, tours and just a relaxing moment in time.

One time when we charged one phone, the aircon suddenly stopped producing cold air, when we turned on the shower heater, the lights literally almost went off, when we turned the TV on, our aircon started to produce hot fan air... we asked the staff why does it happen, she just told us that the electricity doesn't reach them that much. But for a cost of Php1,000+ per person?! And they can't give us electric fans because they only got 1 left. So she just asked us to stay to this another cottage which cost more than our previous one. Well, guess what, it happened again, no aircon. They don't even offer discount for the rooms despite not having aircon and just one fan for the five of us.... It's too far from the cities, that we have to wait for transportaions like jeeps or tricycles to go somewhere for meals coz they don't even have meals to offer or some kind of restaurant in their resort... they have this owned van but they said it's not used for customers, only for the owners' purpose... I had a terrible experience in this resort...

Hard bed & uncomfortable for single instead of double. No book of instruction for emergency or fire. Front door lock not secured for the night. Window curtains are see-through for the night. Shower not working, no hot water, Bucket for cold shower in toilet room. Sink dirty & loose tap. No bathroom towel, no hooks to hang it on. Hand towel-stained rag. No drinking water if you arrive late evening. No canteen for essentials, sandwich or hot drink. No cleaner for P1800 a night-far too expensive. P1400 hotel in Manila has breakfast included with far better facilities & amenities.
