This was one of the nicer hotels in the Prescott area. We had a huge suite with jacuzzi tub, kitchenette, living area, and balcony, and the price was quite reasonable for what you get. It felt like home away from home. Trader Joe’s was just down the street, so it was super easy to grab food without needing to go out for every meal. It was a nice touch that they provided a breakfast buffet each morning, too, For some reason our room was not cleaned multiple days in a row but we were actually ok with that since it was our first trip post Covid. We did flag the cleaning guy down when we saw him, and he was happy to provide new towels and other supplies. Overall the hotel could use an update but the friendliness of the staff made up for it. There was a handyman working in the entryway and every time A guest entered or exited the door he would hold the door open for them. We will stay here again next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed coming into a very nice hotel. The gorgeous chandeliers, movie-style staircase, and the fireplace were very welcoming. There were painting replicas of Van Gogh's work down the hallway to the "executive powder room." This made me appreciate my Art Appreciation Class. The front staff greeted us and gave us information regarding the local area; additionally, "Mr. Bob" was kind enough to provide more historical information about the hotel and Prescott, AZ. The hospitality staff (lots of choices for breakfast) and housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive to details. We didn't have time to utilize the "Game Nook;" we will use it on our next trip to Prescott!

I love Forest Villas Hotel! I live in a nearby town and have stayed there one night a week, for 5 weeks this summer. It's like a little slice of heaven and the perfect place for a solo get away! I love the garden areas to sit in, and swimming in the immaculate pool (always a perfect 84 degrees)! I finish off my night in the hot tub under the stars...and wake up to a hot breakfast. Bob at the front desk is super friendly and helpful. Doug takes care of the pool and hot tub and keeps them both immaculate. The staff is all great! It feels like home. I prefer to book a room on the garden side. The location of the hotel is ideal, and super close to Trader Joes to pick up a bottle of wine or snacks for your room. it's not too far from Whiskey Row or downtown shopping (I do this each trip too!)

Let me say I like this hotel, ambiance, breakfast, room, and I would probably stay again. But know if you are there more than 1 night you have to ask to have housekeeping come and empty your trash, replenish toiletries, etc. we have been here now 5 nights going on our 6th and every day had to take our trash out, ask for clean towels, get more shower gel, and last night No clean sheets. The cookies are good!

Hi Cindy - We really enjoyed having you stay with us last week, and we certainly hope you come back and see us again. When you do, please let us know (while you are with us) if there is anything we can do to help you enjoy your stay. We greatly appreciate having the opportunity to remedy any issue. Our records show that our housekeepers did provide stayover service to your room each day, but we do have several new team members and I think this shows that we need to provide additional training. I assure you that we will get this ironed out and will be ready with bells on when you come back!

My wife and I were curious about Prescott so we set up a trip. Of course, once we decided we were going to visit a place for a couple days, we also needed a place to stay. After searching around for a place that was located in a convenient place in the city, we also wanted to find something nice, professional, and comfortable. After a bit of digging around, a came upon The Forest Villas Hotel. Right off the bat, I found the website to be easy to use and that the included pictures really stuck out to me. After doing a quick price check, I also noticed they were doing a special for emergency workers (of which I am). At this point, I was thoroughly enough convinced that this would be our lodging site so I called the business number and was greeted by a very kind female voice. She answered all my questions, including the very important, "is your pool open?" To which she answered "yes".

At that point, the deal was sealed and the trip was set. Upon our arrival in Prescott, we were quickly able to find the hotel. We entered Prescott from the southwest side (Hwy 89) which gave us the ability to see most of the city, from the beautiful homes in the trees, to the downtown area with all of it's "regular town" stores. Heading east through the city, the hotel is located just past the Prescott Gateway Mall, with a Costco (including fuel) right across the street. The hotel is located up on a hill which gives you a spectacular view of the valley below and the surrounding mountains. Our room gave us an unobstructed 180 degree view looking East.

The room was moderate sized, clean, comfortable, and, included a small balcony. We were very happy with our overall stay. The pool and pool area were well maintained and a nice touch during the very warm days we experienced. The property was clean and well groomed. The under hotel parking was a bit tight, but not a problem for smaller vehicles.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay, and would, most definitely, stay in the Forest Villas Hotel on our next visit to Prescott.

COVID-19 note: The hotel was following all the precautions including hand sanitizing stations, social distance spacing, and staff wearing face masks.

Very poor hotel just scraping by. The mattress needs to be replaced as it is severely worn and compressed. There were no clean towels available for 2 days because of "laundry staffing issues". The hotel staff seemed perfectly fine with this situation - like running a hotel with no towels is somehow normal to them. This is a hotel for people with low expectations and low credit scores... we won't be staying there again.

Chubby - It is often easy to assume the worst when things aren't perfect, but the life of a hotel on a daily basis is filled with all sorts of ups and downs. We did not have laundry staffing issues, although we did have one person call out sick a few days prior which did put us a bit behind, but the issue was a broken washing machine. We are waiting on parts and repair from the only place that will service commercial equipment in Prescott that needs to come from Phoenix. As usual, the staff cared a great deal and every person including the GM was helping with everything to try to make things as smooth as possible. You'll never come across a team of harder working people who take so much pride in their work. Regardless, we are very sorry that we did not meet your expectations.

My husband, our large dog stayed at Forest Villas hotel in Oct 2022. We loved our stay there! Can't find too many hotels that allow large dogs, so definitely a plus!! The owners of this hotel think of everything! Our room had a charging station, fire place a jacuzzi bathtub and a private balcany with a great view! The free buffet breakfast was better then most hotels! They even had large tortillas, if you want to make your own breakfast burrito. There is a water fountain that you can fill your bottle with filtered water, such a nice touch!
The lobby has a fire place and beautiful chandeliers. Nice place to have a glass of wine in the evening. There isn't a bar but they do offer beer and wine.
We met two of the owners and they are so nice and loved our crazy dog! My only suggestion for this place would be to update some of the furnishings. Can't wait to see what these guys do with the place!

The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We picked this location for the Tesla changer which was pulling great but ended up pleasantly surprised by the staff. Breakfast was very good and thoughtful and the coffee was fresh 24 hours a day in the lobby. Will be returning soon. Couldn’t recommended this place enough! Thank you for taking such good care of us!

I scheduled a room for 2 nights when President Trump was going to hold a rally. I am a worker for the state republican party. Several days before the rally President Trumps ex-wife died so he cancelled the rally. He rescheduled it for about a week or 2 later. Unfortunatley my schedule didn't allow me to work at this scheduled time. I tried to have my $400 and some dollars refunded but sinde it was outside of theri 24 hour cancellation policy so they refused to refund my money. Unfortunately due to his ex-wife's death the rally was not cancelled within theri 24 hour cancellation policy deadline. All the other hotels in the area refunded reservation funds. I know this as I work for the republican party and their many rooms were refunded and rescheduled as needed. Not all were rescheduled. I find this ridiculous, disrespectful to the death of Trump's ex-wife and unfair. When trying to discuss this with the management of this hotle they were rude and nasty. It took me over 3 weeks to get them to even return my calls. This may a nice hotel (of course I have never seen ti so I can't even verify this fact) but if you have an unforeseen issue they stick by their policy whether Hell freezes over her not.

Susan - As we are a small hotel, late cancellations and no-shows really affect our business, therefore our cancellation policy is 24-hours notice. There are many circumstances that make a cancellation valid and we are not unsympathetic, however, juggling who we refund or not and the copious amounts of time put into navigating our way through the red tape of 3rd party booking agencies is simply not workable. If a guest does book directly with us, it is much easier for us to make accommodations sometimes in extenuating circumstances, but a hotel room is a perishable commodity, and last minute changes are becoming more common. That is why nearly all hotel brands are changing to a 48-hour cancellation policy and independent, boutique hotels a non-refundable deposit. We hope you can understand.

Over the last year, I’ve been traveling a lot, and this is by far my favorite hotel in the area. Every time I drive by it, I say that I want to stay there sometime, but always assumed it would be too expensive. I also regularly coming to town late, and assumed they would not have late check-in. Boy was I wrong!

My friend and I checked in around 11 PM, the front desk agent was beyond friendly and even gave us a prime room on the second floor, as well as late check out.

There’s always fresh coffee available in the lobby, along with lemon water, and hot water with a selection of teas and hot cocoa. They have a complementary breakfast in the morning, which includes the choice of a breakfast burrito you can heat in the microwave or a bagel that can be toasted, both boxes come with a drink and small sides. I assume, they used to have a more traditional buffet style breakfast, but with Covid they’ve adapted; and they’ve done so brilliantly.

Honestly the whole hotel is quiet and extremely comfortable. I'm excited to stay here again in the future!

PS, don’t forget to ask about their rewards membership, it gets you exclusive rates and other perks when booking. Best of all, it’s free 😁

We didn’t get to stay at the hotel as our family stated “we are not accepting visitors at this time.” We’ve enjoyed our Prescott stay, but aid look at the numbers of rising cases of COVID. Also, look at are there places to eat at. Hiking, visiting museums are outdoorsy enough, but make sure you can eat. Unless you are bringing everything with you! Good luck and congratulations!
