We arrived early and we were helped well by the mother of the host. We were never welcomed by the host herself. We enjoyed the beautiful garden very much. Its a wonderfull location. However, when going to bed we discovered the sheets weren’t clean (hair and make up stains). Probably people slept here before without cleaning the sheets. The sheets didn’t smell fresh either. The next morning we had to leave early. The breakfast was put in the fridge without covering, there was no butter, no coffee. So all in all we weren’t satisfied about the servicelevel of this accomodation.

We had a nice night, a pity we were on the road and could only stayed for one night. We arrived late around 22.30 but a nice dinner could still be cooked for us. Furthermore, we got lost -don;t trust google maps but use the description the owner sends you!-. A pity we had to move on, otherwise we would have stayed an extra night. it is a bit outside town -so nice n quiet- but therefore best for travellers with a car. Thank you so much.

The entrance is a little bit hidden but once you'll find it, you will be surprised. You have to drive a small road till the end of the river and suddenly you're in front of the phenomenal guest house. It looks like a small castle or chateaux. The general inside part is rustical decorated and has its own style. The breakfast is also given in this common area. Furthermore free water is offered, tea can be prepared and a fridge is filled with several drinks (for charge). The room is quite big, modern and absolutely clean. The bathroom is bit small but has everything you need. Take care, the floor is very slippery! The beds were a bit hard for ourselves. There's are tresor too. The breakfast had a big choice, fresh fruits, cherries, etc. Very tasty! Free WiFi is available and with average speed. The hosts are living as well there and are friendly at all. We enjoyed a lot our short stay in this b&b.

Beautiful hotel /B&B, located outside of Trew city surrounded by nature. The decoration is nice, a little oldfashioned but in a good way with nice pictures etc. We ended up here because of a cancelled flight, and we needed a room in Trelew. There were no other guests so we had the house all to ourselves. Our room was spacious and very nice, with a very comfortable bed. We could use the kitchen and living room, as the family that owned the place lived in another house. The owner was very nice, and dropped us of in the city center. The breakfast was also quite good with toasted bread, fresh pastries, ham, cheese and delicious home made jam. The only downside was the location to the city center which was quite far (not a walking distance), and the airport of trelew is also far - our taxi ride cost us 200 pesos! If you are looking for a nice, quiet place with comfortable rooms I would definitely recommend this place. If you use it as a stopover to and from the airport - not so much, because of the distance.

We stayed at La Casona del Rio for one night when we got stuck in Trelew waiting for a flight a day after we were supposed to fly. I'm so happy we did. The house is quaint, clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious and served our needs perfectly. We were lucky enough to have an excellent home cooked dinner with the only other couple staying there. I felt the owners were friends, more like staying at a friend's house than a business transaction. Hugs were exchanged at our departure. I wish we could have more experiences like this.
