We could not Believe what we saw. Personal with no mask in and out of the kitchen and the reception. Even hugging people with masks! When we asked the restaurant manager why wasn’t he using the mask he said “I forgot and I’m tired of it” (Mr. Rossi, he introduced himself as an hotel employee, but then some employees told us he was the restaurant license owner, not an employee). Unbelievable
I’m in love and will forever remember this gem. Only down side is squeaky floors but everything else is amazing. Rustic charm, amazing scenery, fantastic service, comfy beds, super clean space, gorgeous grounds, and delicious food that I can afford! Don’t make me leave!!!
I never imagine find a paradise like that. The Inn by the Futalaufquen Lake is quiet and peaceful. It is located inside of the Los Alerces National Park, at 30 Mi. from the town of Esquel. There are rooms in the main building as well as cabanas on the Park. The Alpine style large main building is made up by stone and logs. By the main entrance has a beautiful large Patio where you could get service from the Coffee Bar while enjoy the sun (or the moon) and the lake view. On the garden along the lake shoreline has benches to be seated and watch the lake view. They serve Breakfast (including on price) and Lunch and Dinner. (fine cuisine). We reserve a suite. It was large and cozy and spotless clean. The service was outstanding as well as the housekeeping. Prices due to the exchange Us Dollar – Argentine Peso are a bargain. I highly recommend it.…
We stayed here one night when visiting the Alerces National Park. It's such a romantic setting just by the Futalaufquen lake, perfect for couples! Loved everything about the homely decor - wooden floorboards, large rooms, and very friendly staff. We came as a gay couple and were warmly received.
We arrived on the day the hosteria was opening for the season and stayed for 2 nights. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the staff were charming, friendly people. It is a really atmospheric old building located by the lake and surrounded by grass and trees. It is at the end of the road so no passing traffic. There are also several nice easy walks nearby including the lakeside track and a forest walk up to a ricketty bridge over a creek. The hotel has the usual essentials (very comfortable bed, wifi good for such a remote location, etc.) but its outstanding feature is the charm of the public areas. Having a pisco sour in the lounge in front of the log fire, and then moving on to dinner again in front of a log fire - just a great experience that made a wonderful couple of days of our holiday.…
