Booked this very reasonably priced small b & b because the owner’s wife spoke Welsh and who kindly took us around the town giving us an interesting insight into the history of the town and area. Had a nice welcome and the room was comfortable and ideally suited for our needs. Throughout our 4 day stay Luis (the owner) was helpful and accommodating. From Esquel we took the regular bus service to Trevelin where there is a welsh connection. Also enjoyed the town of Esquel and took a ride on the steam train (3 hour trip in all) which was interesting and scenic. It’s wise to book and there’s a travel agent opposite the Tourist Information Centre who was very helpful and boked cushioned rather than slatted seats and on the best side (facing the engine on the outward trip it’s the right hand side!). …
The location is perfect, it is very cozy, and the staff (the owner and his son) are extra friendly, willing to walk the extra mile to provide a good customer service. They let us use their facilities and helped us find good places to eat in Esquel. It is very hard to find something we didn't like. Our stay was practically flawless! Maybe the room could have been a little bigger, but we didn't mind at all, because it was very comfortable for our 7-night stay.
We arrived here early on a freezing Sunday morning after a 10 hour overnight bus ride from Trelew and were welcomed in and allowed to use our clean and comfortable and warm room straight away. Owners so friendly and accommodating, good central location and nice breakfast. Would recommend.
We arrived here after a ten hour bus ride from Trelew and found a warm and congenial welcome. The room was comfortable and inexpensive, we got great advice about restaurants, and the next day they happily kept our luggage while we explored the town. Close to the centro, a good place for an overnight stay.
We really liked this place. The welcome was warm and genuine. Luis was so kind, helping us get the car into his parking area when we got back late, advising our friend how to arrange a hostel and even giving us a horribly early breakfast plus a lift to the bus station (which we weren't expecting) etc. He made the stay what it was. The place feels a bit like home from home because you can use the sitting room and dining room. The breakfast includes fresh orange juice and freshly made eg warm toast (neither common elsewhere) plus other items. The rooms are comfy and clean. Unfort some guests smoke even when a sign asks them not to so our first room smelled a bit of smoke. Our second room, at the back, was nicer. The location is great. A few blocks from the centre so it's easily walkable but you get the peace. It has wifi, tv in room, showers were fine. Other guests include regulars who keep returning. We planned on staying 2 nights but stayed in the end for 5. Highly recommend this place. …
