We arrived at Esquel with no cash at 10p and no idea where to go. Planeta only takes cash and Banco Patagonia is the only bank that would give us money. We paid 600 something pesos for two in a private room with bunk beds. Works out to 46 USD for two. It was good, but more spendy than we would have wished. The room was good, Sheets much nicer and cleaner than expected. BUT, breakfast is included and it was actually pretty good! Cereal, toast, jam, coffee and tea. They totally redeemed themselves with the free breakfast.

I had the pleasure of being two weeks there. And it is a heaps place. The rooms are good. The kitchen, the outside area and living room are awesome. You wake up in the morning and you get that fresh homemade bread. Thats more than a hostel. All the people who work there and also the owners are all like new friends you get to know. So its definitely the best way to stay in esquel!

I really enjoyed this hostel. The breakfast was really nice, the bathrooms were plentiful and the common area was also very good. The town of esquel is nice as well and definitely has a different vibe the the other stops along the route. The only negative was that the rooms were small.

We only had one night here but everything was good. We would stay here again. I give it a 4 star rating instead of 3 because the kitchen was very good, and that's hard to find in hostels when traveling. The good - Kitchen is more than decent with plenty of cooking space and utensils/cookware - one of the better kitchens we've come across. Friendly staff helped us out several times. Several different common areas gave you space to spread out and also meet people. Breakfast was decent, by Argentine standards. The bad - The one bathroom I was using was a bit dirty in the tub/shower. Also, there was no air conditioning in our room so it was pretty hot at night. Only one kind of crappy computer to share with everyone else.

We liked our stay there. We had a private room with a very confortable bed and a shared bathroom. Is was clean. The access to the kitchen is very useful and the included breakfast is simple but good. The kitchen itself is a nice place to stay. We used it during a long time to organize our trips around. The only drawback was the blond lady at the reception who is rather unfriendly and impolite. We were wondering why she would not change of job as she was angry against all tourists staying at her hostel.
