Posta del Norte is one of the premier dove hunting lodges in Argentina. Perfectly situated between the two most prized dove roosts in Cordoba, Posta offers superb shooting year-round. Posta has always been a client favorite for its amazing dove hunting and its privacy. The lodge can be reserved with just four clients. There is no additional surcharge for private rooms. This is ideal for families, small groups of friends and corporate outings.
This was my 2nd trip to Argentina and my traveling partner's 16th. Posta del Norte exceeded our expectation at every level. Alex and his managers Gusto and Cesar made anything possible during your stay. The food and wine (any premium liquor you desire is available if you notify them in advance) was authentic Argentinian cuisine and fabulous. The accommodations were luxurious and newly renovated. The pool and cabana was a refreshing gathering spot after hunts with hor d'oeuvres and cocktails. We hunted three different locations, each providing more birds than you could imagine. You have to force yourself to stop shooting because the birds seem to never stop flying. Lunch and siestas under the trees when in the fields was a welcome break from the action. The bird boys had a great sense of humor and will amaze at the speed they can load reload a gun. Everyone at Posta del Norte were committed to providing you a fabulous Argentinian experience. Just returned from a 3 day hunt at Posta del Norte and this location is incredible! This was the first experience for my dad and I to hunt in Argentina and this place did not let us down! The whole operation is very accommodating based on arrival and departure schedules. The food and grounds are great, but the staff is AMAZING! Everyone is genuinely happy and so kind to be around!
Getting to the field can be long drives, but worth the birds flying once you get there. Our longest drive was 1.5 hours each way, but I shot over 1000 dove in 2:45 all before lunch break that morning. A total of 2700 birds for me for the 3 days! INCREDIBLE!
The bbq, salads, and refreshments in the field are top notch with nice hammocks to rest in between hunts. You will not go hungry or get thirsty on this trip!

It is great you enjoyed so much our food and our luxury accommodations, you were one of the first guests to enjoy our new additions to the lodge, such as the pool house and new bedrooms. Regarding your comment about the long drives; yes, sometimes drives can be long but due to Posta´s prime location between the best roosts in Cordoba, our scouters can choose only the best high-volume fields in the area and since doves keep moving around, driving times can vary from 30-min to 1.5hrs, but as you mentioned, the reward is out of this world!! Never mind the constant shooting,the quality of the lodge,the re furbished bedrooms,the 5* breakfasts,lunch,dinner,hunting bbqs,the range of complementary drinks,the hard work of Ceasar and the birdboys,the organised skills of Gustavo and staff! I very recently returned from a visit to Posta del Norte Lodge in Cordoba, Argentina. I don't know where to begin my review. Should I describe the Lodge and it's staff, food and amenities or the dove hunting? Ok, the shooting was beyond my imagination. I have been on similar shoots in Columbia, Paraguay and Uruguay. While they were great they are not to be compared to the volume of birds in the Cordoba area. Moving on to the staff at Posta del Norte, I can't express the wonderful service we received from some of the most friendly people I've ever met in my life. The rooms are simple and just perfect for this type of trip. Now the hardest to describe is the food that was served to us everyday. Whether at the lodge or in the field, the meals and presentation were of the highest quality. I found it most difficult to not overeat! I have a background in the restaurant business and I would have been overjoyed to have the chef working a my restaurant. If I ever return to Cordoba there is only one place I would consider and that is Posta del Norte.

As this was our first Argentina Trip, initially we were looking only for a location endorsed by a third party (Beretta, Orvis, etc) . When the two Beretta endorsed "Fly Ways" lodges were found to be booked, the "Fly Ways" owner, David, contacted us directly and personally guaranteed us that Posta del Norte was indeed of the same calibre. Wow, was he right! Our whole experience was first class. From the time we landed in Cordoba, until we were checking in for our departing flight, we were completely taken care of. Leo and his staff are great. The owner, David, actually visited the lodge while we were there and genuinely asked us if there anything that was not exceeding our expectations. The architecture of the lodge is quite unique. The historic component, the "Gaucho Bar" blends seamlessly into the rest of the lodge built over 150 years later, and everything was renovated two years ago. The meals, simply put, were outstanding. Growing up on a farm in the Midwest, I have to admit that both the pork and beef we had at Posta del Norte were as good as anything I have ever had in the U.S. The "white glove" service provided to us during our meals by Christian, was exceptional. The field experience was no less amazing. The "bird boys" (an industry term, I'm told) are actually all adult men who obviously have substantial field experience and use it to your advantage. My son easily averaged over 1,000 birds per day, with hours of shooting time to spare. The bottom line is that you can shoot, and shoot, and shoot, until you have had as much as you want. My wife, not as ardent a shooter as my son, found the accommodations and whole experience to be just as phenomenal. In conclusion, I personally endorse Posta del Norte by giving it my highest recommendation.

Very, very impressed with the staff and accomodations at Posta Del Norte. Elegant accomodations with a cowboy chic flavor. Leo and his staff are amazing, helpful and a pleasure to be around. The chef is excellent, the food was always delicious. The menu changed daily and had an excellent variety.
The best part was the hunting. Non stop doves. Too. Many. Birds........ We had a blast. Very organized and the lunch barbeque on location was over the top.
Definitely a great place and we will be back again!

I just returned from shooting dove with Posta del Norte and am already planning my next trip. The service and food at the lodge was some of the best I have ever experienced and the number of dove was unbelievable.
There was 4 hunters in our group and 2 in another group and we were each given separate rooms because they were available. That is catering to the customer. We were meet at the van door each day with a cool towel to refresh ourselves after the hunt and cocktails were served by the pool before dinner.
The rooms are very spacious and plenty of room for two if needed. Someone was cleaning the room every time I left and laundry service was done everyday.
Leo and Gus are both excellent host and quite entertaining with their stories. Soledad answered all of my question in a very timely manner and explained everything about the hunts, the pricing, the tips so there were no surprises when we checked out.
If you are considering a dove shooting trip, you can't do better than Posta del Norte

I thought this would be a "once in a lifetime" trip, but I was wrong. I will be going back! It was my first trip to Argentina and everyone associated with Poste del Norte made this an unforgettable experience. Soledad made the booking process so easy and very quickly answered all of my questions. Gustavo was in Cordoba to greet us and Leo was the perfect host when we got to the Lodge. We interacted with Gustavo and Leo daily and they were wonderful. The food, from our first lunch, the fabulous dinners (preceded by a spread of delicious appetizers by the hot tub) and the full breakfasts, was all fantastic. Big lunches under a tent in the shade of the trees while out in the field, were followed by a very necessary nap in the hammocks before returning to the field to continue shooting! The bird boys were so helpful spotting birds and keeping our guns loaded. I highly recommend arranging a massage to help work out any sore spots. Tell Gustavo at lunch and the masseuse will be waiting when you return to the Lodge. Daily laundry service was a surprise but we readily utilized it! I made this trip with my three sons and we will cherish the experience forever. We are already looking forward to our return!
