Whenever someone visits Buenos Aires I recommend to stay at Home Hotel. It's in an ideal neighborhood within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It's also small and feels special and personal. And...the breakfast ain't bad either! Tip: the staff is super helpful - they...More
Great hip business hotel in heart of Palermo district, Buenos Aires. Small - perhaps 20 rooms max. Nice restaurant, great staff, good wifi. Close to nice restaurants and A3 ("area tres") networking space.
Just a quick weekend stay with the team at Home Hotel. Property is well located, slightly quirky but very comfortable. Rooms are basic, clean and functional. I splurged slightly and went for a queen bed, can recommend the value for money. Very friendly welcome and...More
During our visit we actually stayed two times at Home Hotel; first at the begining, then at the end for a few more days.
At the second time, we were really looking forward, at the Home Hotel really felt like home to us.
We stayed in Room 8, which faces the street on the 2nd (3rd?) floor for 4 nights in December (sorry for the delay in reviewing). This is a discrete, beautifully designed property in the relatively quiet, and certainly leafy and emergingly trendy, neighborhood of Palermo....More
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de
Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

I let them know in advance I was arriving at 8am. We waited in the cafe area with a nice coffee for about 30 minutes and then our room was ready. Because we were arriving so early, they encouraged us to book the previous night, too, to guarantee that the room would not be occupied in the morning, but I decided not to to save money. So we lucked out that it was available.
Hey Mindy, I never stayed at Mine Hotel. If it's in Palermo Hollywood though, the entire area is great. I would recommend Home Hotel to anyone asking, but maybe your best bet is to go with the one better priced.
