Our door is always open to welcome those who arrive with the same joy with which we would run to our grandparents arms when we were little. Our grandfather, an "old sea dog", Joaquim Modesto de Brito, known to all as "the champ", was the foundation of this project. So many memories inhabit these walls and grounds that we, the grandchildren, couldn't allow them to get lost. On the small side.

We were disappointed by the small rooms, the very small pool, the small domain, the not so idyllic garden. All looks oh-so-perfect on the social media and press-articles, but reality is not like that. Rather expensive dinner proposal. Ok for one night, but I would not recommend…

What kind of activities are there to participate in during november? Thank you

Hi Jenny, With the migration of birds taking place in November, we suggest our birdwatching walks to get in touch with the wildlife of the Ria Formosa Nature Park. Cork tours and ceramic course can also be a good idea, appart from the boat tours and many other cyvle and walking options. Thank you Carlos

This hotel looks beautiful. Is it ok for a child as well? We have a 4 year old and I think she would love staying here. She is very interested in nature and I just wanted to make sure the hotel is ok with having children. Thank you!

We offer you a balanced combination of fresh and healthy food, seasonal and locally and organically produced and always delicious. Here you have our meal options and prices: * Home Cooking - One meal with starts, main dish and dessert served in our dinning room with the fresh fish of our cost or the meat from our production or vegetarian using products of our organically grow garden. * Price: 35€/Person (drinks not included) * Show cooking - A cooking class where you can learn the secrets about our local gastronomy. Olá Jessica, Bom Dia. Thank you for your interest. Casa Modesta is connected with Fuseta Village by Ecotrail (3Km) right in the center of Ria Formosa National Park, it's a nice path to walk or bike passing the salt marshes with a lot of birds surrounded by nature. Olhão is the closer city, 5Km distance. The closer lagoon beach is "Praia dos Cavacos" at 500 meters from the hotel and the boats for the islands departs from Olhão to Armona, Culatra and Farol or from Fuseta. The best beaches here are in the islands. We have partners for boat tours, birdwalking walks, ecotours, etc... I am available for any question you may have. Looking forward to be with you. Carlos
