Detailed Reviews
We had everything we needed for our stopover in Manila, including transportation from the airport. The host Monique was very helpful from the very beginning of the booking till the day of our departure. The host's approach to our late arrival was very accommodating. Definitely worth recommendation.

This place was fantastic. Super clean and cosy with all the facilities you need and great wifi. Located in a quiet alley in a safe feeling community in Manila. Away from the busy noisy road but still super close to the airport. Cheap Grabs to airport, or they can shuttle you for fairly reasonable fee, you can even walk to Terminal 1 in ten minutes if you wanted to. The owner could not have been more welcoming or accomodating, even getting up at 3.30am to make sure my grab arrived and to walk me to end of the alley and carry my bag (even though I would have felt safe alone). No obligation to use their transport, he was more than willing to help me even though I was choosing other transport option. Cars can't drive down the alley as it is private and gated, however it's only about 50 metres and on arrival some locals at the gate even pointed us the right way. Super easy to find with MapsMe and well signed in the alley. Loads of snacks and drinks available for purchase at the hostel, plus free tea, coffee and drinking water any time. Would definitely reccomend for travellers to Manila especially for airport stop overs and for solo travellers as this was the safest and most comfortable I have felt in Manila :)

I stopped here for one night for a stopover before my flight back to the UK.
The house and room is exactly what is stated on booking.com, basic but clean and homely.
I strongly advise you use the airport pickup due to the location of the home-stay. The prices are the same or cheaper than the taxis or grab taxis and you will be welcomed by Alvin who will look after you.
Would 100% stay again. Thanks

Stayed here for one night, arrived around 11pm and checked out 11am. Great place for a short stopover for a connecting flight. They offer pickups from the airport, think I paid 200 pesos which is around £3 at time of writing. Took around 10 minutes to get here. You need to message them on arrival to instigate the pickup so get some free WiFi (plenty in the airport). First impressions where it’s quaint, clean but basic. You get what you pay for and this place offers everything you need. Great communication by staff, can speak excellent English and can help with whatever you need. Alvin looked after me, nice guy.

Left my peso wallet and manager Elbin tracked me down to return it intact. Can't recommend his services more!
Neighborhood downright freaky at night, walking down a long seedy alleyway to a Google maps pindrop with no light or signage available! Grab driver actually offered to drop me off elsewhere.
But once inside, it's cozy n clean, and the local breakfast adequate.
I'm the morning the street comes alive with a bohemian atmosphere.

I booked a private room here primarily because of its location to the airport and that they can provide airport transfers. Though be aware that you have to phone them for pickup after you have cleared customs, collected baggage etc.
Accommodation is typical backpacker fare but comfortable enough for an overnight stay.

The place is well located in a small nice street. It's easy to get to the airport (terminal 1-2) by walk, about 15-20 minutes.
The owner, Alvin is a nice guy, speaks good english. He explained us everything and each time we needed him he helped.
The aircon room we booked include the breakfast, which was 3 breads with two different jam, an egg and a banana. It cost us 1120 PHP.
The place is clean, the sheet smells good.
Tea and coffee are include, he also has a fridge were you can put your stuff, but he also provide (charged) noodle cup and beer.
It's a nice place to stay before leaving to the airport, plus you are also in a local street which we liked.
Everything was nice !
