I recently stayed at the Lourdes inn due to a very late flight into Manila before my morning flight to boracay island, having been so impressed with the accommodation I decided to book for my return flight,as it was a early morning flight and breakfast was out of the question they cooked me a light dinner which was better for me..it’s a short taxi ride from the airport and should cost no more than 380 p..I will be staying again next year when I return thank you John uk.

This the best home from home guest house we stayed in during our recent travels. We returned 4 times for stopovers and every time was a pleasure. We chose something really cheap and close to the airport for single sleep and shower but never expected a new built properly in a secure compound. There is great cold beer and soft drinks available at shop prices. The inn is family owned and Gerard who never seems to sleep was always on hand with great local advice. Value for money was exceptional

We chose to stay here for 1 night between travelling from London to Bohol in the south of the Country. Was apprehensive at first as we walked from airport (silly decision, get a taxi) down busy roads and not too nice areas however once we arrived we were in a security guarded, walled off area of Manila which was quiet and lovely. The hotel staff were nice, kind and helpful. Assisting us with booking a taxi and recommending a place to eat that night. The rooms themselves were clean, spacious and had excellent facilities. It’s only a 40 minute walk from the airport so about a 10 minute drive. A free breakfast was also included, we had the omlette and it was very good! An ideal place to book for a 1 or 2 night stay in Manila near the airport.

This is very close to the airport, which is its main advantage. It is pretty basic. If all you are doing is stopping overnight, it's fine. I had to travel via the hospital, which is quite a detour, and the taxi driver took a while to find it.

We chose to stay at the Lourdes Inn after a long flight from London to Manila. The good thing about staying at this property that its close to the airport. Around 10 mins max in a taxi. Beware though the taxis will try and rip you off and charge you 500 pesos. The journey should costs you no more than 200 pesos. We arrived at the property at 2am in the morning and the staff were very attentive responding to the knock on the door regardless of how late it was. We were shown to our room which was clean basic but very warm. The good thing is the rooms have air con. The bathroom facilities are basic but clean. After a few hours sleep the hotel provided us with a breakfast which consisted off rice a sausage and egg and a coffee which we thought was good value for money considering the cost of £19 a night. The hotel staff were very helpful getting us a grab taxi back to the airport the next day which costs us around 200 pesos. Would recommend staying here to anyone needing to be close to Manila airport.

The Lourdes Inn owned by Filipino lady who is extremely helpful and kind is an excellent, comfortable guesthouse located just 15 min away from Manila International airport terminal 3 and it costs only approx. 300 php to get there by metered taxi. The guesthouse is located in a closed and well-guarded area, therefore there are no problems with unwanted guests at all and the place is very safe ! If you have a stopover in Manila between your flights Lourdes Inn is the best option, additionally offering a private and trustful transportation from and to the airport. This guest house is new and was opened in the second half of this year so everything is new there. Good Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. Although they offer only breakfast the owner prepared lunch for us using breakfast's ingredients (eggs, sausages, rice etc.). If you have little bit more time to spent you can go outside the guarded area and explore real Philippines including local shopping or testing street food. Of course you have to try using tricycle, which is the cheapest way of traveling in the area. We paid 50 php (approx. 1 US $) for two persons for approx 2-3 km (on the way back to Lourdes inn). Generally everybody we met there were extremely helpful and kind and we did not feel any problems at all. I recommend this place with all my heart. I would like to thank you to the owner and all staff for making our stopover safe and comfortable. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

A big and beautiful house, quite modern and good standard. The room is big with a private bathroom. Quite close to the airport, which is why we chose to stay there. You chose breakfast of a menu and it can be served to your room or in the common area.

We had a long stop over between flights in Manila and instead of waiting at the airport for 15 hours we decided to book somewhere to sleep for the night. We wanted somewhere as close as possible and Lourdes in was perfect. Amazing value for money, it’s very close to the airport (around 15 min drive depending on traffic) and the hospitality was excellent. We had asked to arrange a taxi to pick us up and the lady waited at the airport for us and took us in a taxi to the accommodation. I must admit it did take a long time to get there even though it is very close to the airport due to rush hour traffic in Manila, so be warned the traffic here can be crazy but this is obviously no fault of the accommodation but they where all very apologetic for the delay anyhow. Once we arrived we where shown to our room and offered some diner however we didn’t feel hungry at the time and just wanted to sleep after a long flight from Sydney (a nice gesture to be offered some diner!) Breakfast is also included in the price and the hosts would be up very early in the morning to arrange this, we had asked to arrange another taxi back to the airport for 7am and this was also arranged through the amazing hosts. I must admit I was not to sure what to expect because of the price we paid but honestly it was a perfect overnight stay and the highlight was the hospitality of the hosts that make you feel very welcome and at home. Thank you Lourdes inn!
