this used to be a very good hotel. Many of my friends used to stay there, therefore I tried this time. However this is the WORST hotel I have stayed. Just want to compliment the staffs at the reception and the bell boy. They are very polite and very helpful. - first of ALL the house keeping is horrible… did not do a good job in cleaning the room and replacing the items. Every day I need to remind them to bring the items they missed. Like towels, coffee, bath robe( one time they event brought me a robe with holes… hahahaha). When they give you the bath robe , they did not give you the belt. - after they clean the room, you still can find stains on the glass. - the breakfast is lousy, everyday on,y 3 types to choose and the cooking is bad. Of course you have the 4th choice ie not eating - the maintenance of the rooms are not very good , looks old and many items are broken. A good example is the sink at the bath tub not able to drain the water properly. in a short while you will be showering in a swimming pool - my colleague has similar experience also, he ask the house keeping to clean up the room three times and still they did not clean The list goes on and on. Thee are many hotels in Alabang, you can try others……
I checked in late and after giving my payment the front desk clerk put me on hold for 10 -15 minutes before handing me the room key. Upon entering my room I called 3x for an additional bath robe and it wasn’t delivered at all. I don’t know why Around 9 a.m. housekeeping knocking on the door to checked the fridge if I consumed any products inside but only service water was only present upon checking in. And lastly Before I checked in I asked if the internet connection is fast the F.O. Told me yes, but inside the room it is so weak I can’t even play mobile games and watch fb videos. Well I enjoyed the place so much, the vibe it’s like a palace in a city. I enjoyed “the nest” the service, the food all excellent!
The hotel room that I stayed in is very spacious and nicely laid out that includes a work desk, areas for living, dining, and kitchen with counter. The “homey” feel will surely provide any guest a pleasant rest from a lengthy travel, long day at work, or a short staycation break. The west side rooms present a wonderful view of the city and the Laguna Lake. The hotel has a beautiful and elegant lobby, as well as nicely decorated common areas, that is complemented with its very cordial staff. The location of the hotel is also a feature that I like, since there is a nice mall across the street for your shopping needs or alternative food cravings. Lastly, the hotel staff is very pleasant, courteous, and accommodating. I was not only welcomed by the Front Desk personnel, but the hotel General Manager which made me feel welcomed and appreciated. I highly recommend the Vivere hotel if you are planning for a trip to Manila, either on business travel or personal stay. Special thanks to Ms. Kathy and Ms. Nicky from the Front Desk and the hotel General Manager, Ms. Elvie (mobile number +639178430912).…
The hotel is in a great location and the rooms, although dated, still are above some but the local competition is growing fast. The hotel is a wedding venue and therefore overrun at times so book early. The Nest rooftop bar has good staff with excellent service, the one issue, that friends and visitors have, is the Joey's Mood trio who are devastatingly loud. Background music should be in the background. No conversation can compete with the excessive noise. We generally eat outside and quieter hotels and venues. They have been there 20 years so controlling the blaring saxophone seems impossible. Revenue lost from the Nest due to this must be thousands of Pesos each night. I know we spent 10,000 on meals and drinks elsewhere and we are not alone and we eat out 3 - 4 times a week. The residents 7 days a week. Complaints have been made but no change in a year. Nice hotel, avoid the nest at night but during the day it has great views.…
We booked our parents for their 30th wedding anniversary, a package in Vivere Hotel and dinner in ‘The Nest. Prior to their arrival, my sister and I settled everything. We have given instructions to our parents on what will they do and what will they expect... the taught of their celebration will be fun, relaxing and hassle free. Unfortunately after their dinner, restaurant made them paid for what they ate and on their way out, my parent heard someone from their table, saying.. ( Ay Butaw ) means ( No Tip ). I am sad. That night they sent a message for what had happened, I immediately called them after work. Though they were still giving me positives and they are still smiling, trying not to completely ruin their night. I called ‘Vivere Hotel, trying to get an explanation on what happened then the lady put the call on hold, unknowingly she transferred me to another person. Then again, re-state what happened and to get an explanation why it occured. So I was passed to a Supervisor, again.. explain... Call was put on hold for minutes, got back to me and stated.. ‘Sir, sorry. Hindi po kase na-endorse samin yung payment kase Holiday po ngayon, ( Feb. 25 ). Transaction was not endorse because it’s Holiday? I’m tired... Thank You Vivere Hotel / The Nest. …
Vivere hotel in Alabama Philippines is one to consider when visiting the south of Metro Manila. It shows 5 star hotel in their website but it is truly just a 4 star hotel. Nice location and friendly staff are the hallmark of the hotel. Dated but clean hotel. Fitness area is small but can do the job. Recommended.
My daughter and I decided to try Vivere Hotel for the first time by booking an overnight stay in one of their deluxe rooms. We arrived at 2 pm and got a pleasant surprise when we were informed that they were upgrading us to a one bedroom suite. Other than that, we were allowed an early check in before 3 pm.. The suite was more than what we expected. It was like a condominium unit with a kitchenette, dining area, work station, living area, bathroom and a bedroom. Its windows opened to an attractive view by night of the lighted Alabang commercial district. We went up on the 31st floor for our welcome drinks and the breeze by the pool proved to be relaxing and refreshing. Service of the hotel personnel from check-in to check-out was exceptional. The only downside was the Burger for Big Boys sandwich that we ordered in the evening. The burger was big alright but it was dry and the taste was wanting. Its price was also on the high end. Breakfast buffet proved to be satisfying in quality and quantity. Over all, it was a delightful stay.…
This is my second review of this beautiful haven. I’ve been visiting-staying at this place since I was a teenager. The manager still recalls those first visits, hence, treats me and my family with utmost care! Thank you Elvie and @viverehotel for always making me feel home and comfortable each time I visit the Philippines. The service is outstanding each and every time ☺️🙏🏼💕🥂✈️🇵🇭 📸 by: @alexiasheridan_
It was such a great experience staying at their suite especially having a romantic dinner at the Nest under a full moon. All the personnel are very welcoming starting from the security until the manager. Very strategic location if you have meetings southern part of Metro Manila.
I booked our staycation just a couple of days before Christmas and glad we didn't have any trouble. When we arrived at the hotel, to our surprise there's a cake awaiting for my husbands belated birthday treat. The hotel staff are accommodating and the set up in the hotel lobby is exquisite. You'll notice a few marks of the hotel operating for years but it's just a minor thing. The room was spacious but the bed is quite small for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) but we still manage to squeeze in. Breakfast was loaded with wide variety of choices: traditional american breakfast to pinoy breakfast, Fruits, cereals.... your choice. We enjoyed our breakfast with the good view of Alabang...Lastly, my kids are always after a quick dip in the pool. It's not that spacious but still my kids had fun and thats what matters. OVERALL: We recommend VIVERE!!!…
