History and modern luxury merge to create ageless beauty at the Victoria & Alfred Hotel, which was built in 1904 as the North Quay Warehouse. This iconic establishment was named after Queen Victoria and her son, Prince Alfred who played an intrinsic role in the establishment of the Breakwater Basin, now the V&A Waterfront. The hotel is located in the very heart of this internationally acclaimed destination and is a sophisticated retreat amid the buzz. It offers some of the most enviable views of Cape Town Harbour, Table Mountain and the slick city that stretches out at the foot of this Natural Wonder. Timeless elegance and personalised luxury are found at the award-winning Victoria & Alfred Hotel.

Unable to understand why a reputed hotel like theirs has resorted to cheating and fraud. They have charged my card TWICE without authorisation, accepted their mistake, apologized for the same , promised to refund and then stopped responding over call and mail. Such behaviour gives SA a bad rep!!

Dear Kartik As per our email correspondence, you are aware we are trying everything in our power to resolve this matter that is totally out of our control and has been escalated to senior management at the 3rd party secure payment gateway responsible for for online payment and refund transactions. This is not a matter of fraud, will be resolved and in the meantime please accept our apologies for the delay in the administration of your refund. Best wishes

Stayed Nov 26-Dec 1 of 2021 and loved it. Location is perfect, everything was as advertised and people more than helpful. In particular, the front desk, especially Jason, went above and beyond in helping me find and leave after the new virus was reported.

A fantastic little hotel in an amazing location. My stay was a tad complicated - and everyone was helpful here - the front desk, the valets, the waiters, everyone. Get a rate that includes breakfast if you can - avocado toast was a personal favorite.

Wonderful mountain view room overlooking the water, CBD and table mountain. Things I really appreciated about this stay: - location - quietness in the room - comfort and size of the bed, duvet, pillows - effectiveness of air conditioning - size of the room - bathroom (huge bath and separate powerful walk in shower) Breakfast was fine - probably wouldn’t get it included again if here on business but would for leisure… not clear how many coffee shops there are locally. The shops in the area have clearly been impacted by Covid but it’s a lovely area of town, and will be back if I can get anything like this rate again (GBP100 RO).

This place is phenomenal and they really made our honeymoon special with a complementary bottle of wine and desserts upon arrival!! We stayed in a king size bed room ...(room 105) and had the perfect view of the waterfront and table mountain. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed relaxing in the tub bath followed by the luxurious bathrobes. Fast Wi-Fi. Very comfortable bed, we felt very well rested! Walking distance from all the wonderful restaurants and shops within the waterfront area. Delicious breakfast included at the restaurant on site that overlooks the water. Very safe area to stay and we will be coming here again! Our favorite hotel!! Highly recommend !!!!
