We arrived at the hotel at midday after a very long and gruelling delayed flight, tired and grubby, to be advised that the check-in was not until 2pm. The chairs in reception are uncomfortable so we left our luggage and went out for a walk. Our first impression of the area was

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The room was very comfortable and the staff exceptionally friendly. All our needs were met. The Hotel is in close proximity to most places of interest and a short leisurely walk to the V&A.

The area is well lit at night and there are security guards around but I would suggest get an uber as well, which we also used and it was cheap, and not much traffic.

Hi how much does a taxi cost from the airport to this hotel? Thanks
Hi I hired a car from the airport. Driving is a breeze in South Africa. If you plan on visiting places far and wide or just prefer to be on your own itinerary and time, then I'd suggest hiring a car. Avis couk (must be from the UK Avis website) works perfectly for me as they offer unlimited mileage and low excess rates. Other alternative ofcourse is UBER - costs around R200 (GBP10) last time I checked.

Hi can anyone advise how much the water taxi is from this hotel to the v&a waterfront? Thanks Kirsty
We are in Canada so for our money it was equivalent to about $5.00 A great service but the last boat home was about 6 - 6:30 so then real taxi needed to be used to get around. GMC
