The place has potential. It’s beautiful, but I ust not clean. Our room wasn’t clean, the porch had dust and leaves all over and the dogs are too loud, restless and all over the place. It also sucks that dinner isn’t served.

We had a lovely stay! On arrival, we were presented with delicious home made lemonade and a cold cloth to freshen up. A nice touch, as we were thirsty and hot after a long day in Kruger. Deon explained the surrounding area to us, which included local attractions in Hoedspruit and also walks in the reserve, where they are situated. Our room was excellent. Scrupulously clean and tidy, with beautiful bedding and amenities. Breakfast was scrumptious, and a real treat was dining, watching the resident Hornbills, Guineafowl go about their morning business. Sue and Deon were the perfect hosts, and I highly recommend this special, tranquil spot to relax and unwind.

The ambiance and welcoming to our unit was superb and just splendid. The unit was nothing short from what we expected, warm and just lovely to say the least. Room keeping just needs to perform better (sheets and pillow cases need to be replaced instead of just redone neetly) - bigger sausages at breakfast would be great too!
