We had a three-night stay at Whalesong Hotel & Spa as a family. The GM, Petrus was extremely hospitable and attentive. The breakfast was scrumptious (in spite of loadshedding interruptions) and the view from the restaurant over the bay is spectacular. This hotel is a great base to explore the surrounding area with plenty to see and do. We will be back.

We enjoyed every second of our mid-week stay here! Beautiful views of the beach, mountains and of course, Plettenberg Bay. The team assured that all of our needs were met - fantastic breakfasts, dinners and great gin tastings. Chef P organized all of our transfers and activities with a smile. Looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed over for a weekend with family and friends and really enjoyed it from start to finish. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and served us with a smile, from the breakfast to the pre booked dinners, compliments to the chef. Also the general manager who had amazing service made us feel at ease the whole time.

Me & my fiancee visited this hotel 2 years ago during lockdown, and I visited it now again. What an amazing transformation this property has undergone! New management, new rooms, new reception - with a library, kiddies area & bicycles to rent added as well - truly amazing to see. The food here has always been exceptional and I would still rate it 5/5, just like everything else now is. You won't be disappointed if great views from the deck and lazy pool days are your thing👍🏼

This was the 2nd wedding we visited at this hotel, and although I think we are a little biased as we visit it so often, I thought it was absolutely fantastic! Every single guest complimented the food, friendly service, views & renovations - and I could not agree more! Petrus and his team are gems. Well done!
