We had an excellent, spacious and comfortable room. The bathroom was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean. It was very quiet. It was a weekday when we stayed. We had the window open because of there was no a/c but the only noises were from the birds in the morning. Fine breakfast

The room was nothing like advertised. The shower had water spilling all over the bathroom floor. The floor was also dirty. The hinge for the window was broken (all the neighbors can see you, no privacy at all). As well as the toilets door! The walls had scratches all over. It was just nothing like the pictures, I recommend you save your money and find another place. It’s not a hotel, it’s a hostel with hotel prices. They didn’t even respond to me when I contacted them through their emergency hotel number they provided. I wish I never stayed here.

Seems owners want to cash in during Covid days and do not care about guests rest time. The bar inside the hotel plays loud music from 18.30 till who knows when during weekends. Herds of teenagers access the hotel without any safety measures or even staff in reception, always unattended. Cash first place do not visit. otherwise breakfast is ok and premises clean. It’s a shame.

The hotel is charming as long as you have very light luggage, as there in no elevator, and as long as you do not go during summer, as Castilian summers can be sweltering and there is no a/c. Just to keep in mind. Bathrooms are nice and location excellent.

We enjoyed a comfortable four nights in this historic building, well placed for exploring the old sections of Avila. No hotel car park but plenty of public parking nearby, the easiest and cheapest being in the blue zone just outside the nearby city walls.
