After the lockdown you would’ve expect that the staff would do certain trainig regarding the new guidelines concening Covid 19.All the clients have to wear a mask and constantly use the gel which is fine but it feels a bit unfair that the staff does not comply to the new rules. I did not see them washing their hand each time they had to clear the tables where there can be droplets from the costumers but they come streight away at your table touching your drinks. They are dressed with the same clothes that they wear at home and public instead of changing at work in a clean uniform. Very long nails in some waiters that made you wonder what can they hide under then and so on.It frlt like they need to protect from us (the clients) but them just wearing a mask did not represent a safe feeling for the constumers especially at the breakfast when your food was served by a lady in a dress that she came from home...no gloves and not washing hands as she was suposed to. The hot water is not working and the door keeps not opening.Thank God it is not a long stay.

We were a group of 5 and the hotel was fantastic value. The rooms were a good size and clean. Highly recommend this if visiting the area. Nice and close for the Las Luminaries Festival in the nearby town.

Stay one night as a stopover. Big room and lovely bath and shower. Outdated decor of the room and lots to improve on how item are fixed: bad silicone, lost shower tray . But for the price it was worth it!!!!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days in June as part of a break, and I seriously do not recommend this hotel. I think that the worst part was that one afternoon whilst taking a nap in the bedroom (I had a ‘do not disturb’ sign hanging from the handle on the front of the door). The first people to enter my room was a couple who believed it was their room. They walked in with suitcases and everything, and the door was definitely closed (i.e. not ajar). The second person to come into the room was a lady from housekeeping. When I went down to reception to explain that two different sets of people had come into my room, the receptionist began to (almost argumentatively) state that ‘that is impossible’. I told her ‘well it’s not impossible because twice, people entered into my room... which is not safe for me nor my belongings in the room). At this point the housekeeping lady happened to be passing reception and confirmed that I was correct that she came into the room, but I was explaining that a couple had come in before her... which she confirmed seeing a couple just a little further down the corridor that couldn’t seem to get their key to work. I received no apology. I demanded that no other guests had keys to my room, which should have been standard in every hotel! The hotel left no note, but did leave a bottle of water with about 6 small chocolate pieces... which I suppose might have been their way of apology for serious negligence?
